Ace
4 Months Later
The last 4 months in my life have been a tough one, even though I want to spend my time looking for her, I still have my responsibilities to the company. While I'm waiting for Zane's info, I managed the company.
A lot of things happened in these 4 months, Jenny got accepted to Oxford, Kit is already working for me and for Luke, I fired him. Even when my Dad begged me, The woman who convinced me to give him a chance is not here and he's the reason for it. The day I left Madison qt the hospital, I knew he went there, a nurse told me.
For now, I just sat in my car, looking at the small house. In front of that, there are children playing around.
My eyes shifted when the door swung open, and a beautiful lady went out wearing a simple dress and her hair tied in a messy bun.
Those Hazel eyes that I've not seen for four months, the one I'm looking for.
My eyes went to her eyes to her baby bump. All I wanted to do now is jump out of my car and run into her embrace. I miss her so fucking much.
She smiled at the kids and brought out the chair from her veranda to the lawn just next to the kids. Not a moment later, a man came to her and she smiled at him, making me look at the man confused.
Who the hell was that?
I'm not really planning to get out of the car cause I wanted to wait for her birthday, but when I saw how he looked at her, how he tried to touch her hand but she smiled at him awkwardly and pulled her hand, I got out of my car and stare at them for a second.
Not a chance, Bro.
As I make my way to her, she looks up to me, as well as the guy earlier but my gaze is fixed on her.
She looked at me completely shocked like she just saw a ghost and her mouth went open as she was about to say something but didn't continue.
"May I help you?" The guy asked me, obvious that he's bothered by how I look at my wife.
"Yeah, get the hell away from my wife." I said coldly while giving him a death glare when I felt a touch on my hand.
"Aceâ Uhhâ Matt, excuse me for a moment." She smiled at him apologetically as she got up from her chair and held my hand before dragging me into her house.
When she closed the door, she let out a sigh before looking at me.
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm taking my wife and my child back."
She looked at me confused before chuckling donely, "I'm not your wife, I already sent you the divorce paper, doesn't "
"You did⦠But did I sign it?" I asked, smirking at her as she looked straight into my eyes.
"Why are you doing this?" I can hear from her voice that she's irritated.
"You have my baby, and I love you."
She froze on her place as she stare at me, she seems to think what she's supposed to say but she sigh before taking a seat on the couch.
"You're crazy, and don't say that it's your baby, you know that it's not. Ace please stop."
My patience is starting to lose as I take a deep breath before taking the seat next to her.
"April 1, you went to the SouthStar club with Hazel, am I wrong?"
She thinks of it for a second before slowly nodding. "Where is this going?"
"Okay, let's finish it quickly⦠The man you had a one night stand with is me." Okay, it's easy. "Do you wanna see the footage?"
Her eyes widen as she thinks about it. She knows I won't say something I'm not completely sure of. She again looked at me bringing her hands up to say something, but she suddenly passed out in my arms.
"Madi? Madison?" I called out but she didn't answerâ¦

"I would recommend her not to work anymore. Some pregnancies are really hard to deal with, especially the mothers who can't be tired. And don't give her so much stress." The town doctor said, making me look at Madison who's laying on her bed.
"Why did she lose consciousness?"
"Maybe because of something that made her shocked or surprised. For pregnancy, she can't really be exhausted."
Nodding at her, she excuses herself after she prescribes her some vitamins. Closing the door of her room, I sat on her bed beside her and held her hand.
That's when I saw some cuts and bandages on her hands. She has some burns on her hand, I'm pretty sure it's from her work.
Taking off my shoes, I lay down next to her and wrapped my arms on her waist. I really miss her so much. Snuggling my face on the side of her neck, I inhale the smell of her hair and smile.
"I fucking miss you, Sweetheart." I mumbled as I kept my head snuggled on her side while my hand went on her baby bump, slowly caressing it. "Please don't leave me again." I kiss her shoulder while caressing her baby bump.
With my free hands, I caress her hair and close my eyes. For the last four months, this was the first time I felt the urge to sleep, knowing that I have her again in my arms.

I woke up feeling a soft hand on my hair. As I open my eyes, I met her beautiful hazel eyes as she stare into my eyes.
"Good Evening." She said while caressing my hair.
"How are you feeling?"
"Good, still shocked though." She forced a smile and I saw my phone on her hand, she seems to notice that I look at my phone as she handed it to me. "I watched the video, you know, I'm always curious. Also, You didn't change the password." She smiled at me, and I know why. My password is our anniversary and my lockscreen is our wedding photo. While my wallpaper is her.
"Don't leave me again, okay?"
"Give me one reason to come back with youâ¦" she said halting on her moves and sigh.
"I have a million reason, First is because I love you, Second is you're carrying our child, Third is I need you, Fourth is I can't live without you now, Fifth is because I realized that you're the woman I want to spend my life with. Sixthâ" she cut me off by smashing her lips on mine.
With her hands cupping my jaw, she closed her eyes and start kissing me. A soft moan left me making her chuckle between the kiss. My hands stay on her back pulling her closer while my hand was on her tummy.
I miss the taste of her lips, the cherry vanilla lips. I brush my tongue on her lips, licking it, she smiled at me as she parted her lips giving me an entrance. Without wasting any second, My tongue went in her mouth tasting every part of it. Our lips and tongue move in a rhythm driving me crazy.
After a minute of making out, she pulled away gasping for air. I bring my hands up to her face, I remove the strand of hair from her face so I can see her.
"The first reason was enough." She said with a smile on her face, like always.
"We'll go home later, and you can't say no, alright?"
"But I have work, I can't just leave without passing my resignation."
"I'll deal with it, what I want is for you to go back home, it's missing you. Please."
"I will, Butâ"
"Btw, who was that guy earlier?" I asked, changing the topic.
"His name is Matt, he's my friend."
"And?"
"And what?" She asked confusedly when I could see that she really knew what I'm waiting for her to say.
"Honey, I won't get mad, why would I be? I'm just curious." I held her hand as she lay her head on my chest.
"I know what you're trying to say, okay, he does but it doesn't really matter." She chuckled.
"I can see it from the way he looks at you, too bad because you're still my wife."
"Yeah, too bad. I am actually planning to say yes to him on my birthday because he said he'll take me out." She removed her hands from me and got up. I know she's just trying to piss me off.
"No, I won't wait until tonight." I got up from the bed and ran to her, carrying her in my arms, she let out a gasp before wrapping her arms around my neck. "We'll go home now."
Not listening to her, I just continued walking to my car as I put her down on the passenger seat.
"Aceâ"
"Your brother is waiting at home." I took a seat in the driver seat and smiled teasingly at her.

Madison
"Where have you been? Oh gosh, do you even know that Dada was sent to the hospital because he was worried about you?" Zane said as he wrapped me in his embrace.
"Is he okay now?" My voice trembled, I didn't even know what happened to Dada. I didn't tell anyone except Hazel.
"He is, How are you? The baby?" He asked, making me look at him and to Ace who's already sitting on the couch. He put his hands on my 5 months old baby bump, making me smile.
"The baby is good, I am too. Does Liam already know?"
"Ofcourse, He was so worried that he almost booked a flight right after I told him that you're pregnant. Luckily, we immediately found out where you were. He said he'll kill you if he sees you."
"Like he can." I smirk knowingly that he's just worried. I suddenly miss Liam.
"When are you going home? She needs to rest." Ace said as he walked next to me.
"I'll sleep here, I'm too tired to drive back home. Besides, Dada will just bombard me with questions about her."
"Where are you going to sleep here? Is the spare room already done?" I asked Ace.
"It does, but it's not a bedroom anymore. If you want you can sleep on the couch. Come on, let's go to sleep now." He held my hands and slowly dragged me to our room.
It's been a long time since I've been here so I get excited just to see our bedroom.

After I change into my satin sleepwear, I lay next to him, who's doing something on his laptop.
"I'll go to the hospital tomorrow for a check up." I let him know incase he wants to come, but I heard that he's been busy.
"What time?"
"Around 9 am, I just booked an appointment earlier, on our way here."
"But I have a meeting at that time." This time, he looked at me with disappointment in his eyes.
"It's okay, it's just a check up, I've been doing this all by myself for the last four months."
"I'll just have Zane come with you. If you want, you can also go straight to see your Dada. I'll just pick you up in the afternoon."
"I might really do that now that you suggest." I chuckle as I tuck myself in.
He closes his laptop as he knows that I can't sleep with the lights turned on. He lay next to me and turned off the lamp.
"Let's sleep now." He pressed a soft kiss on my forehead. "Good night." This time he kisses my lips. "Also for you little one." He said while caressing my tummy.
"Go on, sleep now." I pull him back next to me and caress his hair to make him fall asleep. He just nodded at me before snuggling on my side.
I continued to caress his hair until he fell asleep, which didn't last long because he's also tired.
I look at his face only to feel happiness in me. Remembering how we are on our first day of marriage, when he's all cold but caring. But now's different, he's not afraid to show how he really feels. And I know it ever since he said that he loves me. I didn't expect Ace Ashford saying the word 'I love you' but he did.
I kiss his forehead before deciding to sleep. With my hands on his chest, I close my eyes and try to sleep.
Holy Shit. After some moments, I still don't feel sleepy at all, I look at the clock at the night stand and notice that it's already 1:05 am, it's been 4 hours. Why does time fly so fast?
I look out the window only to feel something, maybe I already know why I can't sleep at all.
I'm craving for something, like avocado and fries. I want to eat something but they're all asleep. Should I go alone?
Probably.
Removing his arm from being wrapped on my waist, I got my coat from my cabinet and took his car key. He won't get mad for sure.
Quietly leaving our room, I walked to the living room and saw Zane sleeping on the couch. If I was easy to catch a cold, so is Zane. He's probably the weakest in the three of us. That's why Mom loves him the most, and I understand why. When we were kids, he didn't really go out because he's always sick. I'm thankful that ever since he had surgery when he was 10, he became better.
Worrying if he's cold, I walked to him and saw that he doesn't even have a blanket here. I sat next to him and held his hand, and he immediately snuggled his face in my hands. He's cold.
Why the heck did he not ask for a blanket?
I walked back to our room and took a comforter from my drawer, fortunately, Ace was still asleep.
As I walk back to Zane, I put the blanket on top of him and tuck him in. If I know somehow who'll get worried about me, Zane will be one of them. We may fight alot but between Liam and Zane, Zane is the one who's always with me even though he won't be able to help anything.
I got up from the couch and about to walk on the door when the dim lights of the door went on making me look at my back.
"Where are you going?" Ace said, still with his messy hair.
"Uhmmâ I wanted to go buy something."
"At this hour? Can't you wait until tomorrow to buy it?" From his voice I know, he's confused.
"I really can't sleep. I want to eat something."
"That is?"
"Avocado? I'll look in the supermarketâ"
"Honey, do you know what time it is?" He asked, sounding done.
"But I'm hungry, You don't have anything to cook here."
He looks at me with an understanding look before nodding. "Wait for me, I'll come with you."
And that made me fucking smile. "Thank you."
He immediately ran back to our room and came back with a jacket and simple jagger pants.
As we drove to the city, the cold breeze hit my face, making me shiver. Luckily I'm wearing a thick coat. While I'm looking at the window, I turn my head and look at him instead. His eyes tell me that he's tired but he still comes with me.
"Ace?"
"Hmm?"
"If you have a problem, you know that you can tell me, right?"
"I know that, But I would rather keep it to myself instead of stressing you out. Don't worry."
"Still. You need to tell me if you're going through something. I'm not your wife for nothing."
He looks at me then chuckles. "The last thing I wanted is for you to stress yourself. I won't be good for you and the baby."
"I promise, I won't. Just please tell me, so I can somehow know what your problem is."
He seems to think about it before sighing and smiling. "The company just got robbed."
"How did that happen? How much?"
"The police were still looking at the case. At first I didn't want to make it a big deal since it's just 40 million but Victoria instead."
I know he's rich but not this rich that he won't care for 40 million.
"Uhmmâ You should really look into it. I guess. Do you already have a suspect in mind?"
"I do."
"Who?"
"I won't tell you. Not until I'm not sure." He smiled knowing completely that it'll make me more curious. "What do you want to eat again?"
"Avocado, and also fries if we saw one."
"Let's go look at Central Supermarket, Maybe they're 24/7."
"Yeah, let's go there." I lean my head on the car window and close my eyes. I already closed the window because it's already cold. "Btw, does your Mom already know?"
"She's the last one who finds out. She said she's happy for you."
"I'm happy too." I said with a wide grin on my face. "I don't know if we got married because of the baby, or we got a baby because we'll get married. I now believe in destiny."
"Still, how come I didn't remember it? It's literally our first." He asked with a full disappointment in his voice, making me chuckle.
"Do you remember every one night stand you've had?"
"Uhhâ Some, if I wasn't drunk." he said like he was thinking twice whether he'll tell me that or not. "I really thought we would have our honeymoon to a memorable place, but it's just a bar."
"It's your fault, you're the one who entered the wrong room." I chuckle as I look out of the window.
"It's the only mistake I'll never regret."
