The professors didn't waste any time, as soon as they came back from their holiday, they got right back into the revisions.

It was only Wednesday and Gwen wished that she could hibernate for an entire week. Things were not going well. Gwen had double Potions and double Transfiguration which tired her out.

After Potions, Angelina had to physically stop her from banging her head against the desk. And Gwen was currently walking around the castle with a giant bruise on her head.

It was after lunch and Gwen along with the rest of the Gryffindors along and the Ravenclaws had Defence Against the Dark Arts. Gwen was trying her best to focus but couldn't. George Weasley was bored out of his mind and so he tried to keep himself entertained.

He did that by tickling Gwen's ear with the feather of his quill. She didn't mind it at first, so she paid no attention to it. After five minutes, she tried to swat it away and after ten minutes she had had enough.

George tried bothering her again but this time she grabbed the quill by the feather and roughly pulled it out of his hand. The sudden movement caused George to bump against his table which emitted a loud noise and caused some of his things to fall on the ground.

Everyone turned to stare at George, including Professor Lupin. Gwen turned and tried to cover her smile, trying to seem as if she had no part in the act. "Is everything good, Mr Weasley?" Lupin asked with a small smile of his own. George didn't know what to say but he quickly straightened himself and grinned. "I thought I felt something touching my foot and startled myself. No need to worry though, everything's fine." George explained and then gave the professor a thumbs up for good measures.

Professor Lupin nodded and continued on with the lecture. George groaned silently and stood up from his chair to pick up his stuff. Gwen stood up from her own chair to help.

"Sorry about that. I didn't think that... that would happen." Gwen stated as she gathered everything. George grinned. "No need to worry, sorry if I bothered you."

Gwen laughed underneath her breath. "That you did indeed do. Oh, and here's the quill that fell next to me." She handed him the same quill that she pulled out of his hand.

George rolled his eyes but grabbed the quill nonetheless. She helped him gather the last of his things and then went back to her seat with one final wink.

Gwen continued to listen to Professor Lupin as he lectured them about counter jinxes and everyone listened. Especially since they had a lot to cover because of the idiotic Lockhart.

The end of the lesson came, and the students didn't waste time to start packing their bags.

"Next lesson will be a practical one as we will be doing the counter jinxes. Make sure that you study and are prepared." Professor Lupin shouted as he tried to grab the students attention. A couple of them ignored him while others nodded their heads or murmured in agreement.

"Miss Hamilton, a word please," Lupin called out. Gwen nodded and smiled at the teacher. "There's no need to wait for me. You can go." Gwen told the twins, Lee, Alicia and Angelina. They did what she told them and left without her.

Gwen waited until the whole class left before going up to Lupin. "Did I do something wrong, Professor?" Gwen asked as she started sweating slightly as she thought of everything the twins, Lee and her did just the day before.

"No, you did not." He saw Gwen's furrowed eyebrows and chuckled. "At least, none that I know of. I was going to ask you about the dementor lessons, if you're still interested, that is." Professor Lupin explained as he started to pack up his own case.

"Of course I am! And when will this lesson commence?" Gwen asked as she fixed the strap of her bag. "Whenever you're free. I know how busy you are. I talked to Mister Potter and he said that you both have Quidditch practise about three times this week."

Gwen thought about it for a second. "I think I'm free Thursday. Is that alright?" She asked. Lupin nodded his head and smiled. "It is. If you see Mister Potter, please inform him of me."

"Will do, Professor," Gwen said with a nod of her head. She was about to leave before he stopped her once again. "Is everything alright?" He asked. Gwen was confused at the question.

"I think so. Why?" Lupin motioned at his forehead. "You just have this big purple bruise on your forehead. Do you need to go to the hospital wing?" He asked with genuine worry.

Gwen chuckled and touched her forehead instinctively. "Oh, that's nothing. I just, um, walked straight into a wall. It's normal for me, I am one of the clumsiest person you'll ever meet." Gwen explained as she blushed.

Lupin nodded his head awkwardly. "Yes, I've heard that about you multiple times. I remember Professor Snape said that you're a hazard to both yourself and others."

"That is an unfortunately accurate description of me. I'll see you next lesson." Gwen continued.

"I'll see you. And please be careful." With a final nod, Gwen left the classroom, and tried her best not to accidentally hurt herself while doing it.

"How are you two not studying? You not being stressed causes me stress." Gwen exclaimed as she looked at Fred and George expectantly.

"Like we said before. We don't need the O.W.L.s." George explained.

They were all seated in front of the fireplace as Lee, Angelina, Alicia and Gwen studied hard while the twins just worked on their products.

"Your mother will be furious if she got word that you haven't been taking any of this seriously," Angelina said as she gave both a disapproving look.

"She won't know." Fred continued. "Percy will gladly tell her," Lee explained. The twins scoffed simultaneously. "Like he even cares. He pretends that he's not related to us, remember?" George continued as he tapped Lee's forehead.

Lee slapped his hand away. "Do whatever you want. As long as you don't bother me." Lee stated as he glared at his Muggle Studies notes.

"Since when have you turned into a goody-two-shoes?" Gwen asked as she looked up from her own Astronomy homework.

Lee stayed silent, his eyes never leaving the pages. "Oh, I get it. You just want to impress Olivia." George taunted with a sickly sweet voice.

"No, I'm not." Lee continued with wide eyes. Gwen looked up from her notes and smirked a bit. Jupiter's moons now long forgotten. "Yes, you are."

Lee gave out an exaggerated gasp. "I can't believe that you're betraying me! I don't go around making fun of you and your pretty boyfriend."

Gwen snorted. "Yes, you do actually. Like all the time." Fred rolled his eyes. "I don't mention him."

The Gryffindor girl turned and looked at him. "Because for some weird reason you don't like him. Which is preposterous, by the way, he has been nothing but kind to you."

Fred scoffed. "Oh, please, he's probably only using you to get information on the Quidditch team." "Excuse me?!" "You heard me."

Gwen slammed her astronomy book shut which caused George to jump in his seat beside her. "Or maybe he just likes me for who I am." Gwen continued as she felt her right eye twitching.

"He wasn't interested in you in the years before, and now he's the Captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and spends his free time doing goo-goo eyes at you." Fred continued as he looked straight at her.

"Everyone just calm down." Alicia tried to intervene but was easily ignored.

"So, you're telling me," Gwen began with her voice calmer. "That the only reason that a guy would be interested in me, is because he has ulterior motives."

Fred shook his head. "No, of course. There are plenty that would like to go out with you for you. But it's not that in Cedric's case."

Gwen had enough of it, she felt as if the vein on her forehead was about to pop. She stood up and grabbed her wand, shoving it harshly into her pocket.

"Wait, where are you going?" Angelina asked with worry. "Going to do my Prefect rounds. You know, the ones that I do with Cedric at least five times a week!" Gwen said as her voice got louder as she intended for Fred to hear every word.

"Go then! I hope you have fun snogging instead of doing any ACTUAL WORK!!" Fred shouted as he stood up. Gwen who was just about to open the portrait, turned to look at Fred with her nostrils flared.

"Maybe I will! Because he actually knows how to snog, unlike you as you have no experience whatsoever because NO GIRL HAS ENOUGH PATIENCE TO DEAL WITH YOUR ANNOYING ARSE!!" Gwen shouted.

After things went silent, she noticed that everyone in the common room heard her and stopped to look at her. "DON'T YOU ALL HAVE WORK TO DO!"

Gwen didn't wait for anyone else to talk back to her, as she left the common room, slamming the portrait of the Fat Lady behind her.

"Be careful, will you!" The Fat Lady called after her. Gwen took in a few deep breaths and then turned slightly at the woman in the portrait. "I'm very sorry, I don't know what came over me."

The Fat Lady smiled sympathetically at her and nodded her head.

Gwen was about to walk away but she didn't move too far before she was face to face with Cedric.

The boy smiled as soon as he laid eyes on her. "Evening, Lyn. Are you okay? You look a little red."

She didn't waste a lot of time, because as soon as he finished, she grabbed him by the front of his robes, pushed him against the wall gently, and slowly started to kiss him. It wasn't as rough as one would think it was. On the contrary it was quite sweet and slow.

"Bloody hell!" Gwen pulled away when she heard a familiar voice. Both her and Cedric turned to see Harry and Ron, seemingly petrified with fear.

"What are you doing out here so late?" Gwen asked with her face turning red. "We, um, we went to talk to Professor McGonagall." Harry finally replied as his eyes darted quickly between the two Prefects.

Cedric caught him looking and so he sheepishly raised a hand and waved at the third-year Gryffindors.

"Well, get in then. You don't want to get in trouble." Gwen advised as she cleared the awkward air around them. "Oh, and Harry, Professor Lupin said that we should meet him in his office next Thursday."

Harry nodded. "Thanks Gwen. I think it's best for us to be gone, so that we'll leave you two to do your... work." Harry smirked and to which Gwen rolled her eyes. "Just go."

Gwen and Cedric watched the two leave before they walked down the corridor. "Soooo, should we do what Harry said. I mean, there's so much... work that we still have to do this evening." Cedric stated with an ever-growing grin on his face which caused a snort of laughter to come from Gwen.
