Yesterday, I made the Bear Bus, a vehicle that we can use safely to go to Mereera, and now I am heading to the adventurerâs guild.
That was because I thought that I needed some escorts to protect the children. I canât watch the children for 24 hours a day. I may act separately.
To be clear, the traveling members are mostly women and children. Genz-san is the only adult man. But Genz-san would want to be with Tirumina-san, Fina, and Shuri, so he canât afford to take care of the other women and the children.
There are also young women such as Anzu, Elena-san, Karin-san, and Liz-san. Itâll be a problem if a strange man approached them. These were my important employees who were entrusted to me by their parents and guardians. If you think so, itâs not only for the children but also for the womenâs escorts will be needed.
So I came up with Gil.
Iâm trying to get Gil to intimidate the weird guys so they donât get near us. If Gil stood nearby, no one would make a foolish move. Itâs proven when I asked him to guard the shop before.
Also, Gil knew the kids, and heâs well known by the staff because he comes to the shop quite often.
I entered the Adventurerâs Guild and looked around. There were several adventurers sitting in chairs chatting, but Gil and Lurina-san were nowhere to be seen.
Are they out working?
Itâs past noon, so the Adventurerâs Guild seems to be free. All of the Adventurerâs guilds were busy in the mornings and evenings.
Right now, the remaining adventurers were gathering information and waiting for new requests.
[Yuna-san, whatâs up?] Helen
While Iâm looking around, Helen-san, whoâs sitting at the reception desk, calls out to me.
[Iâm looking for Lurina-san and Gil.] Yuna
[Lurina-san and Gil-san? Iâm sure they went out a while ago.] Helen
[Is that so?] Yuna
Then, it isnât possible to go to the sea together?
[Do you have a business with them?] Helen
[Thereâs something I need to ask them a little.] Yuna
[Then, when they come back, shall I inform them?] Helen
I donât know when theyâre coming back, so I might as well ask her to.
If they come back by the time I left, then, please. If they donât come back, you just have to say they didnât come back.
[Well, then, please.] Yuna
I want to talk to them about going to the town of Mereera with the children of the (corn) orphanage. So Iâm going to ask Lurina-san and Gil to be the escorts. (TN: Sorry canât help it.)
Though I said itâs an escort job, itâs actually an invitation to play with us.
Gil is too serious when it comes to working, so I feel like heâs going to do his job without playing.
[Come to think of it, Yuna-san will go to the town of Mereera with the children of the orphanage.] Helen
[And everyone who works in the shops. But how did you know that?] Yuna
Did you see the announcements posted in the shops?
Iâm sure, Tirumina-san was saying that she would post the flyers early.
[Genz-san wants to go to the town of Mereera, so he asked the Guild Master for a vacation. Thatâs why Genz-san is working even on his off days to get a vacation, so every guild employee knew about it.] Helen
I see, so itâs via Genz-san.
[Genz-san. Is he okay?] Yuna
If heâs tired, Iâll let him drink the tea of the sacred tree. The tea of the sacred tree has the effect of fatigue recovery. Itâs terrible if he falls down due to overwork before the trip.
[I think heâs okay, he works happily every day.] Helen
If so, then all is well.
[Iâm still envious. I also want to go to the sea.] Helen
[Then, why donât you just come with us, Helen-san?] Yuna
When I invited Helen-san, there was a rattling sound in the back, so when I turn around, the male adventurers look away. There were also some adventurers who were whistling.
Even though Iâm insensitive, I can understand them. Apparently, the adventurers seem to like Helen-san.
Helen-san is a beautiful woman after all.
[Helen-san, youâre welcome to join us.] Yuna
There is no problem because I only need to stretch the torso of the Bear Bus even if the number of people increased by one.
[Fufu, thank you. I appreciate your words. But please, have fun with everyone this time.] Helen
Thatâs too bad. Iâve always been indebted to Helen-san, so I wish I could thank her somehow.
I asked Helen-san to give a message to Lurina-san and Gil before I left the Adventurers Guild.
Then, I went to
Today I wanted to see how things were going, not as a customer, so I entered through the back door. When I entered the kitchen, I saw everyone was working hard. Lunchtime had passed, so there is no rush. Still, thereâs a lot of work to do.
The children noticed me. They wanted to approach me, but theyâre being patient. The children seem to be growing up, too.
So, Iâll come up to them and say, [Please do your best].
With that kind of feeling, Morin-san comes over as she wanders around the kitchen.
[Yuna-chan, welcome. I heard from Tirumina-san, but are you sure weâre going to have 10 days off?] Morin
[Well, thatâs the plan. Though we might come back sooner so weâll have plenty of room for any adjustments.] Yuna
We can come back earlier and have a rest when getting tired of playing. In the first place, I want to take a break.
I think Iâve been doing too much work lately. I should be able to rest for a little while.
[But if you take 10 days off, the sales will...] Morin
Morin-san has the same worries as Tirumina-san.
[Itâs okay. Iâm not going to reduce everyoneâs pay, so just have fun.] Yuna
[Iâm not worried about that...] Morin
Then what are you worried about?
[Is there any merit for Yuna-chan? If you close the shop, you wonât get any money. Moreover, youâre paying our salary even when weâre resting. I canât understand what Yuna-chan is thinking.] Morin
I wonder, is thatâs how everyone normally thinks?
Whatâs more, Morin-san is a craftsman who has been working all the time, so she might think so.
[This is to thank all of you for working hard.] Yuna
[Iâm grateful when Iâm working.] Morin
[Iâm also trying to prevent Morin-san from pulling out. If you want to work somewhere else, please tell me. I will offer you better conditions than that.] Yuna
[Fufu, there is nothing better than this.] Morin
Morin-san laughs.
[But Tirumina-san came here, right?] Yuna
[She came here yesterday and sheâs also here right now. She said that she wanted to talk to Elena-chan, so sheâs probably in the break room with Elena-chan.] Morin
[With Elena-san?] Yuna
I was interested, so when I parted from Morin-san, I went to the break room.
Entering the break room, as Morin-san said, there were Tirumina-san and Elena-san.
[Yuna-chan?] Tirumina
[Whatâs up with you two?] Yuna
I asked straightforwardly what they were talking about.
[I asked Elena-chan about the inn] Tirumina
[The inn?] Yuna
[Like Iâve told you before. Teaching the people whoâre coming to take care of the birds was a commercial guild request, and the commercial guild is looking for a place for them to stay. This time theyâre asking us, so Iâve been telling you that we need to secure a place to stay.] Tirumina
Wait you did?n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Maybe you did, though I donât remember.
But thatâs what Tirumina-san says.
[So I asked Elena-chan to secure an inn.] Tirumina
Elena-sanâs parentsâ house is an inn.
[As Iâve heard, there are four people right?] Elena
[Yeah, the commercial guild was supposed to help as well.] Tirumina
[Then I will tell my dad when I get home today.] Elena
[Please do.] Tirumina
Tirumina-san stands up in a hurry.
[Now then, Iâm going to Anzu-chanâs shop.] Tirumina
Somehow, Tirumina-san seems to be busy. Tirumina-san greeted Morin-san and left the store. I also left the shop after Tirumina-san left. Then I chased after Tirumina-san.
Not because I have free time. I have to talk to Anzu before we go to the town of Mereera.
[Tirumina-san looks so busy.] Yuna
When I said so, she turned her eyes to me. Her eyes were saying, . The message was sent without saying a word.
[Iâm sorry,] Yuna
[Fufu, what are you apologizing for?] Tirumina
Tirumina-sanâs expression changes into a smile.
Because there is a saying, .
(ãç®ã¯å£ã»ã©ã«ç©ãè¨ãã)
[Itâs because of me that you were inconvenienced.] Yuna
[It certainly became difficult thanks to Yuna-chan. But itâs fun to be busy.] Tirumina
[Is that so?] Yuna
Iâm happy during my free time.
So maybe, Tirumina-san is an M?
[As you already know. I couldnât get out of bed for a long time because of my illness. Thatâs why Iâm happy to be able to move like this, and itâs fun to work hard with everyone. So itâs fun to help, even though Yuna-chan does stupid things sometimes.] Tirumina
What stupid things?
I donât remember doing any stupid things.
[And I thought I could never see the ocean once more, so once again Iâm thankful for Yuna-chan. That I can be a little busy.] Tirumina
[I donât mean to cause you trouble, but donât overdo it. Because, if you fall down, Fina and Shuri will be sad again.] Yuna
[Fufu, right. Thank you for worrying, Yuna-chan.] Tirumina
Tirumina-san pats my head as I walk beside her.
