Bear-san, Learns Of Finaâs Birthday.
Fina and Shuri helped their mother, Tirumina-san, in the morning and came to the bear house in the afternoon. In the meantime, Noa studied in the morning and came to the bear house in the afternoon.
Sherry, who had finished making the pattern, was asked by sensei and dropped by this afternoon as well.
âYuna-san, please donât make it by yourself.â (Noa)
Noa told me so. Thatâs why I decided not to make stuffed animals in the morning so that we could make them together in the afternoon. Thus, in my free time, I took picture books to Aruka in Larousse- and Sakura in the Land of Harmony.
I gave the picture book to Kagali-san, not to Sakura. It was a little troublesome to go to Sakuraâs house. After I gave the picture book to Kagali-san, I went to the hot spring with Hugging Bear, as I had promised.
!!
The hot spring at night was lovely, but the hot springs in the daytime were also good with beautiful scenery.
Then, in the afternoon, we make stuffed animals.
âOh, by the way, when is your birthday, Fina?â (Noa)
Noa, who was sewing the fabric, asked Fina.
Indeed, when is her birthday? I had never asked.
âThatâsâ¦â (Fina)
âOneechanâs birthday is also coming up soon.â (Shuri)
While Fina looked like she was having trouble saying it, Shuri replied for her.
âReally?!â (Noa)
Noa was surprised.
I was also surprised when I heard their conversation.
âWhy didnât you tell me!â (Yuna)
âI mean, I hadnât had a birthday celebration since my Mom got sick.â (Fina)
Fina said such a sad thing.
It was easy to forget that before meeting me, Fina and Shuri were fatherless, and Tirumina-san was bedridden. Under such circumstances, they could not have celebrated their birthdays.
But now Gentz-san was here, and Tirumina-san was feeling better. Moreover, I am here. There was no way I could not celebrate Finaâs birthday. But I was not the only one who felt this way.
âThen, if itâs close to my birthday, we can celebrate it together.â (Noa)
Noa suggested.
I agree we should celebrate it.
But Fina doesnât seem to be getting on board.
âEtto, I think Mom and Dad will probably celebrate it this time.â (Fina)
âThen Iâll invite everyone to my house, and weâll celebrate it there. Wouldnât that be nice?â (Noa)
Fina tried to refuse, but Noa was persistent in her proposal and blocked all escape routes.
âI have to tell my father when I get home today.â (Noa)
It seems that the decision has already been made in Noaâs mind.
Fina looked at me as if asking for help.
I, for one, agree with celebrating Finaâs birthday. I have been chiefly indebted to Fina since I came to this world. And thereâs no reason not to celebrate her birthday.
So, my words to Fina were.
âI also agree with Noaâs plan.â (Yuna)
ââ¦Yuna-oneesan.â (Fina)
Fina looks desperate.
Fina would refrain or refuse. We should be a little more forceful.
However, if it was me in her shoes, I would run away as fast as I could.
âHow about a birthday present for Fina? Should we make another Swaying Bear-chan and Hugging Bear-chan plushies?â (Noa)
âThose big stuffed animals have no place in my houseâ¦â¦.â (Fina)
Well, unless you have a big house, there is no place to put the life-sized Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear plushies. Even if you could, they would be in the way.
âU~u, what shall we do then?â (Noa)
âPresents are particularly forâ¦â (Fina)
âNo! I will definitely prepare a present for you. I will think about it before that day arrives.â (Noa)
I have to think about it too.
Isnât there anything?
Speaking of Fina, itâs dismantling, but she already has a mithril knife, and I canât give her a wyvern as a gift. In the first place, it would be strange for an eleventh birthday present to be a monster.
By the way, it seems that Shuriâs birthday was still far off.
They also asked me about my birthday, but I donât know my date of birth in this world, so I just faked it.
âThen, Fina, letâs show your parents the dress youâll be wearing for your birthday party.â (Noa)
âAnou, am I going to wear a dress, after all?â (Fina)
âOf course. Since I gave it to you, please wear it.â (Noa)
That means Iâm going to wear it, too.
âAnd of course, Yuna-san too.â (Noa)
I was reminded.
She said only their relatives were invited to the party, so I gave up.
âOneechan, all of you, your dresses are nice.â (Shuri)
Shuri, who was listening to the conversation, looked envious. If you envied me, I would be happy to take your place.
But Noa brightened Shuriâs dark expression.
âFufu, you donât have to look like that. I plan to prepare a dress for Shuri, something that I wore when I was around Shuriâs age.â (Noa)
âReally?!â (Shuri)
âYes, so itâs all fine.â (Noa)
âThank you, Noa-oneechan.â (Shuri)
âFufu, youâre welcomeâ (Noa)
Noa smiled like an older sister.
I really wanted to invite Sherry, who is helping us make stuffed animals, but for the same reason as the other children at the orphanage, I decided not to invite her.
The next day, Fina looked troubled by the words Noa uttered.
âFina, we have my fatherâs permission to invite Finaâs parents as well. My father would also like to say hello to Finaâs parents.â (Noa)
ââ¦â¦â¦â¦â (Fina)
Yesterdayâs conversation proceeded.
Fina made a troubled face.
Apparently, Fina had not yet informed Tirumina-san or Gentz-san.
If the conversation goes all the way to Cliff, she has no choice but to tell her parents.
It was my fault for not stopping Noa, and it was also my fault for agreeing to the idea of having Finaâs birthday party together.
Fina looked at me as if asking for help, so I decided to help her this time.
After we finish making the stuffed animals for the day, I head to Finaâs house with her.
âAra, Yuna-chan. You brought my daughters home? Thank you.â (Tirumina)
Tirumina-san greeted me with a smile.
âBecause Iâll be borrowing your precious daughters again.â (Yuna)
âFufu, Yuna, you havenât eaten yet, have you? Please, come eat with us.â (Tirumina)
Since we have a story to tell, I will take up Tiruminaâs offer.
âSo, you two, howâs the stuffed animals that youâre giving to Noire-sama coming along?â (Tirumina)
Tirumina-san asked Fina and Shuri.
âYeah, itâs going great.â (Fina)
âYes, so far, so good.â (Yuna)
âIâm sure Noire-sama will be pleased.â (Tirumina)
âYeah, thatâs. Thereâs something I have to tell you, Momâ¦â¦.â (Fina)
âWhat is it?â (Tirumina)
âNoa-oneechan said that Mom and Dad too.â (Shuri)
While Fina is having difficulty saying it, Shuri opens her mouth.
âEtto, what do you mean?â (Tirumina)
Shuriâs explanation was lacking in many ways.
Therefore, I have to explain it to add more details to it.
âTirumina-san and Gentz-san, you were also invited to Noaâs birthday party. Technically, it was a joint birthday party for Noa and Fina.â (Yuna)
âIâm sorry. I canât keep up with my thoughts.â (Tirumina)
âFinaâs birthday is just around the corner, right?â (Yuna)
âRight.â (Tirumina)
âNoa found out about it and said, âLetâs celebrate it togetherâ. So Tirumina-san and Gentz-san are going to join too.â (Yuna)
âWould it be at the lordâs mansion, perhaps?â (Tirumina)
I nodded.
âAnd youâre bringing Gentz and me along with you?â (Tirumina)
I nodded once more.
Tirumina-san finally understood.
âImpossible! Absolutely impossible! Unlike Fina and the others, Gentz and I barely know them. Even when Eleanora-sama came before, I was too nervous to talk to her.â (Tirumina)
Unexpectedly, Tirumina-san began panicking.
âCliff is not a bad guy.â (Yuna)
âI know. I know that. Heâs been to the store, and Fina has told me about it. But that doesnât mean there isnât a parent out there who wouldnât be panicked to be told that Finaâs birthday and the lordâs daughterâs birthday party are going to be held together.â (Tirumina)
Well, this is how you would typically react if you had to go to a nobleâs mansion.
And since they were told that they would have the birthday party for their daughter together with the birthday party of the daughter of a lord, there would be some confusion.
âWeâll have to talk to Gentz about this when he gets back.â (Tirumina)
Then Gentz-san came home from work.
âOh, Missy is here too?â (Gentz)
âYes, sorry barging in.â (Yuna)
Everyone took their seats, and the food was placed in front of us.
âTirumina, whatâs wrong? You look different from usual.â (Gentz)
âIâm sorry. I had to talk to you about something.â (Tirumina)
Tirumina-san told Gentz-san about Finaâs birthday party.
âHow can such a thingâ¦â¦ Can we turn it down?â (Gentz)
âWill you turn it down?â (Tirumina)
ââ¦Impossible.â (Gentz)
They sighed as if giving up.
âMom, Dad, Iâm sorry.â (Fina)
âItâs not your fault, Fina.â (Gentz)
âIf you donât like it so much, Iâll go and turn it down.â (Yuna)
If itâs difficult for Tirumina-san to refuse, I can tell them on her behalf. I canât do anything about Fina and Shuriâs participation, but I think I can do something about Tirumina-san and Gentz-sanâs attendance.
âI appreciate it, but I canât say no.â (Tirumina)
âIsnât it?â (Yuna)
I remember it too.
I remember the first time I was called to a lordâs house at the Adventurersâ Guild. Even then, there was an atmosphere that I could not easily refuse, and Helen-san asked me to go there.
Now that I know Cliff, I know that I would have no problem saying no.
But to the average person, the lord was far above the status quo.
Tirumina-san and Gentz-san decided to go, worried about what to wear, and finally consulted with Mylene of the Commercial Guild, who decided to rent clothes from Naru-sanâs store.
Naru-san and Temoka-san have been great help to us.
