Bear-san, Gives Finaâs Present, Royal Capital Edition Part 4
After leaving Ghazal-sanâs blacksmithing store, we filled our bellies at a food stall and saw many students in school uniforms walking around.
âShia might be home by now, so why donât we go to Shiaâs house?â (Yuna)
âYes.â (Fina)
âUn!â (Shuri)
As we were walking toward Shiaâs house, we heard voices saying, âThere she is!â, âShe is here!â.
I thought the voice sounded familiar, and then two girls in school uniforms came up to us.
âCattleya, Shia?â (Yuna)
âI knew it was Yuna-san.â (Cattleya)
They looked at me happily while slightly out of breath.
âWhy are you two here?â (Shia)
âThatâs my line.â (Yuna)
âWe were hungry.â (Cattleya)
In other words, it is time for a shopping and eating spree.
âPlease donât inform my mother about this.â (Shia)
I was tempted to ask whether it was okay for an aristocratic young lady to buy food at food stalls, but she seemed to know it was wrong, so I decided to let it slide.
According to the story, Shia and Cattleya, who had come to fill their bellies at the stall, heard the word âbearâ around them. When they listened carefully, they overheard a girl dressed as a bear walking with little girls.
âThatâs why I figured Yuna-san is here, so I was looking for you. But I thought the little girls with you were Noa and Fina-chan, but it turned out to be Shuri-chan.â (Shia)
âHey, itâs me.â (Shuri)
âCan Noa go out? Even for a bit?â (Shia)
Sheâs been going out too much lately. She may not be able to go out for quite a while.
âFina, you know Cattleya, right? And, Shuri, is this your first time seeing her?â (Yuna)
âYes, we have met a few times.â (Fina)
âI met Fina-chan at the school festival and the blacksmithâs shop.â (Cattleya)
âI met her at the school festival.â (Shia)
Shuri met her at the school festival, too. And she remembers it well. Shuriâs memory is also quite good.
âHowever, we only greeted each other lightly that time. Once again, I am Cattleya, Shiaâs friend. Itâs nice to meet you both.â
âIâm Fina.â
âIâm Shuri.â
When Cattleya mentioned her name, Fina and Shuri imitated her manner and introduced their names.
So, Yuna-san, why are you in the capital with Fina-chan and Shuri-chan?â
I explained what had happened.
âSo itâs Fina-chanâs birthday present, and youâre going out with Swaying Bear-chan and Hugging Bear-chan? Iâm envious.â (Shia)
âFina would be hesitant to accept it if I gave her something expensive as a present. Iâm indebted to Fina, so I would buy her anything.â (Yuna)
âUu, Iâm the one whoâs indebted to you.â (Fina)
The person herself doesnât know how much I appreciate her instead.
âYuna-san, what are you going to do now?â (Cattleya)
âWe were on our way to Shiaâs house.â (Yuna)
âIs that so?â (Shia)
âI was just thinking of going there when school ended. But if you two have other things to do, Iâll come later.â (Yuna)
Shia looked at Cattleya as if confirming my words.
âYuna-san, Shia. Can I come with you too? I want to meet Swaying Bear-chan and Hugging Bear-chan for the first time in a long time.â (Cattleya)
Of course, I granted Cattleyaâs request. And we started walking toward Shiaâs house.
âFina-chan, Shuri-chan, I heard you guys attended Noaâs birthday party. Thank you.â (Shia)
âWeâre wearing a beautiful dress.â (Shuri)
Shuri talked happily while spinning around.
âThe dress was a dress Noa lent her from when she was little.â (Yuna)
Noa tried to give the dress to Shuri, but Tirumina-san politely refused.
Well, itâs not easy to receive a dress from someone like her, even if she doesnât wear it anymore.
Fina and I were forced into it in a threatening way, though.
âI would have loved to see Fina-chan and Shuri-chan in their dresses.â (Shia)
âYuna-oneechanâs dress was also beautiful.â (Shuri)
âEh, Yuna-san, you wore a dress!?â (Cattleya)
Shia and Cattleya made surprised expressions.
âNoa gave me the dress at Misaâs birthday party.â (Yuna)
Without it, I donât think I would have worn any dress.
âAh, I should have taken a break from the academy and gone back to Crimonia.â (Shia)
Itâs not worth taking a break from school to see me in my dress.
But for some reason, even Cattleya was agreeing.
âSo, you gave Noa a birthday present of a large Swaying Bear-chan and Hugging Bear-chan stuffed animals, right?â (Shia)
âYou know about that?â (Yuna)
âIt was written in Noaâs letter. It said that she made it with Yuna-san, Fina-chan, Shuri-chan, and a girl named Sherry-chan and that she had fun making it together. I wish I could have seen it.â (Shia)
âIâll have to ask Noa to show me next time I come to Crimonia.â (Cattleya)
I donât have it, so I canât show it.
As we were talking about Noaâs birthday party, we arrived at Shiaâs house.
I greeted the maid, Sulirina-san, and came to the guest room.
At Cattleyaâs request, I summoned the regular-sized Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear.
âTomorrow, I can brag to Marcus and the others.â (Cattleya)
Cattleya is embracing Hugging Bear, and Shia is hugging Swaying Bear.
âItâs fluffy.â (Shia)
âI envy Fina-chan and Shuri-chan for being able to go out with Swaying Bear-chan and Hugging Bear-chan.â (Cattleya)
âIâll touch it, too.â (Shuri)
Seeing the two of them clinging on to Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear, Shuri can no longer hold back and goes next to Shia and together they hug Swaying Bear. Fina seems to be holding back, though, like the big sister she is.
âI wish I had a bear as cute as this one.â (Cattleya)
Cattleya gently caresses Hugging Bearâs back.
I wonât give him to her, and I donât want her to start keeping a real bear.
âI canât give you a real one, but I can give you a stuffed animal if you want.â (Yuna)
I took out Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear plushies from the bear box and put them on the table.
âDo you think itâs childish, Cattleya?â (Yuna)
Cattleya moved away from Hugging Bear and grabbed the stuffed animals on the table.
âNo way. Can I have these stuffed animals?â (Cattleya)
âAs long as you take good care of them.â (Yuna)
âOf course, I will take good care of them. Thank you.â (Cattleya)
When Cattleya got the stuffed animals, she compared them to Hugging Bear sitting on the floor.
âIt looks the same as him.â (Cattleya)
âBecause the child who made it worked hard.â (Yuna)
They are really well made. I think Sherry could make it as a craftsman.
âCattleyaâs been wanting one for a while now.â (Shia)
âIs that so?â (Yuna)
âShe saw Tilia-sama holding one at the school festival before, and later, she saw the stuffed animal in my room. She was envious of it.â (Shia)
Come to think of it; I also gave a pair to Shia before.
I think it was when I had a match with Marcus and Shia, was it?
âShia, you didnât need to say that.â (Cattleya)
Cattleya looked a little embarrassed.
But if she wants it, then Iâm happy.
After enjoying Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear and receiving her plushies, Cattleya left with a satisfied look.
And after Cattleya left, Eleanora-san came back with a tired look on her face.
âYuna-chan, youâre here. Welcome.â (Eleanora)
âSorry for disturbing you.â (Yuna)
âBut itâs rare to see Fina-chan and Shuri-chan together with you. Do you have any business in the royal capital?â (Eleanora)
âItâs Finaâs birthday present. A tour of the royal capital.â (Yuna)
I told Eleanora-san what I had explained to Shia.
âOh right, it was also written in the letter from Noa. Happy birthday, Fina-chan.â (Eleanora)
âTh, thank you.â (Fina)
âThen Iâll have to get something for you, Fina.â (Eleanora)
âNo, please, Iâm good.â (Fina)
Fina shook her head while refusing.
âBut you made big stuffed animals for Noa, didnât you?â (Eleanora)
âI didnât do it alone. I also worked together with Yuna-oneesan, Shuri, and a girl named Sherry to make it.â (Fina)
âFufu, but Fina-chan, Iâd like to give you a gift to thank you for all the help youâve always given us. I guess so. Do you want to take some of the treasures that are in storage? Maybe thereâs something in there that you would like, Fina-chan.â (Eleanora)
I was personally interested in the things sleeping in the warehouses of a noble, but Fina politely declined. Eleanora looked disappointed, but with Finaâs personality, she wouldnât accept it.
âThen at least have dinner with me.â (Eleanora)
âSorry, we have other companions so we have to leave now. We just came to say hello to Shia and Eleanora-san since weâre in the capital today.â (Yuna)
I refused her on Finaâs behalf.
Mumroot-san and Ruimin are waiting for me at the bear house. And so, we have no time to have dinner.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
âAra, there are others. We canât have them with us, can we?â (Eleanora)
Since Sanya-san and Eleanora-san know each other, I donât see any problem with letting her meet Mumroot-san and Ruimin, but itâs not a good idea to decide on my own, so I politely decline this time.
âThen it canât be helped.â (Eleanora)
Eleanora-san honestly gave up.
And before we leave, I asked Eleanora-san.
âEleanora-san, I have one question. Can I visit the upper part of the castle?â (Yuna)
âThe upper part?â (Eleanora)
âFina? No, Shuri wants to see the city from the top of the castle.â (Yuna)
It was Shuriâs request, but I heard Fina say in a low voice, âI wonder what the scenery looks like from up there?â
Maybe Fina would also like to take a look.
I think it would be a good present for Fina. Moreover, I would like to see it too.
âYes, it is. Normally, itâs off-limits. Only a select few are allowed in.â (Eleanora)
Well, thatâs usually the case.
âWell, the top floor is off limits, but the middle floor would be fine. The view from that place is beautiful as well. Iâll take you there as a birthday present.â (Eleanora)
âAre you sure?â (Yuna)
âSince Fina didnât accept my gift, at least I can give her this.â (Eleanora)
âYou guys have it good.â (Shia)
Shia, who was listening to the story, looked envious.
âIâm sure youâve been there before, Shia.â (Yuna)
âI have, but I rarely get there.â (Shia)
Shia was disappointed since she canât go with us because she has school tomorrow. Eleanora-san also doesnât want to give her a day off from school. Skipping school is not good.
