Hae - yeah, I get it's Batman but I'm with Yoona here
Y/N - ah she's having fun though, and besides it's a good memory for her when she grows up. To experience the nostalgia when she replays it

While Yoona sat beside me, wrapped up in a blanket, Haewon was making lunch for us. She's been insisting on making lunch or dinner or hell, any snack. I don't know where that motivation came from but I think she just wants to try the whole 'wife' schtick or something but I appreciate her efforts.
It's been a week since then, being holed up in my home. I haven't even stepped out of my house yet except for groceries and dropping Jinae off at school. It's been a bearable experience, it's not like it's the first time being holed up, we lived through a goddamn pandemic so it's fine enough.

Turning my head towards Yoona, her eyes glued to the TV before turning to look at me.
Y/N - there's rules for her obviously, like no online games. I was raised in the 360 and PS3 era so those times were a bit too, well. Different.
Sully - what about violent games?
Y/N - there's some I'd like her to play, but not all of them. She's fine playing Mortal Kombat and stuff since she's good at those, horror games and stuff since for some reason, she likes to treat the antagonists as friends rather than enemies so playing Resident Evil 7 was kind of funny
Sully - eugh I hate horror games
Y/N - me too, wouldn't let her near Outlast though which is my last rule actually, no nudity. I'll give her time till her teens to figure that one out
Sully - you put more thought into rules for games than parental ones
Y/N - well I ain't gonna be hard on her unless when I need to be. The only reason she's even playing games is because of me, spent my days off when I would be playing games and she'd be watching me and then I let her take the controller and there she goes because of curiosity
Sully - huh.
Y/N - a kid gonna be somewhat similar to their parents or at least one of them, the one thing I'd like is just to let her like what she likes. And she just likes playing games
Sully - what about Lego and Superheroes?
Y/N - w- well- uhm- okay maybe I didn't enforce her on those but you've seen my room
Softly laughing, we both turned to the TV again where she muttered to herself

Y/N - I know, somehow I never understood why Jimin ever loved me or Haewon, even Seulgi too
Hae - because you're a good man, your hobbies don't turn us off

Sully - it's adorable though, it's nice to share something with Jinae too. Maybe she'll thank you for it, does she get bullied for it or anything?
Y/N - actually, no. she's liked by the boys more than the girls and they don't even like her, she's just relatable to them more
Sully - we got a tomboy on our hands
Y/N - give it till she's in middle school or high school, only time will tell how she'll change in looks or whatever

Laughing again, steps from behind us came closer where in front of us for a split second, Haewon appeared, lowering herself to put a plate of sandwiches for us, sitting down in between me and Yoona.

Giving each other a kiss, which didn't irk Yoona at all, which was great since the girls were used to our public display of affection in the comfort of our home.

Y/N - Batman Arkham Knight, came out like a decade ago but still looks good, holds up for it's time

The three of us reached into the plate grabbing a sandwich each, putting my arm uncomfortably to the side while reaching, tearing mine into quarters so Jinae can have a share.

She bites into the sandwich, getting a good amount as I put the rest of it into my mouth while my left hand caressed her hair.
Hae - oh that reminds me, sports day for her is coming up. Are you coming to that?

Hae - I think Seulgi-unnie and Jimin-unnie will come too since you know
Lifting an eyebrow to Yoona, catching wind of what she meant by it

Pouting, Haewon pulled Yoona in for a comforting hug almost treating her like she was her own child too
Hae - it'll be okay, I think having Aespa, Red Velvet and NMIXX go to a sports day out of nowhere would really get us into trouble
Y/N - yeah, everyone wants to go too and I know you girls have been busy with promotions and stuff and being out of country so maybe next time
Sully - it's awful timing, right before your birthday too

Laying back against the couch, we both remained focused on the TV, quietly watching Jinae play while munching on the sandwiches.

Nodding my head in agreement, the two girls left once more to leave me and Yoona alone by ourselves. Sure it was cool last week when me and Jimin got some 'cardio' in with each other, which reminds me.
Haewon was cool about it, same thing with Seulg, and that really makes it three now. And that's three more gifts I'll have to spend on the holidays, but oh well. Fuck it.
Wrapped up in the blanket Yoona had on, surrounding our laps, letting her wrap her arms around me, her cheeks on my right shoulder while the TV played a movie that she wanted me to put on
Y/N - it's still bullshit by the way about the whole thing, Dispatch has been releasing statement after statement about it. We got the damn two companies to say something about it and yet they're like 'nah that's definitely her secret boyfriend' like what?
Shrugging in the air with my left shoulder, Yoona softly laughed, turning my neck to look at her.

For the next few minutes, it had fallen silent between us. Focusing on the movie while it played, I scattered around, oddly changing positions while she kept her position on me the same

Getting up from the couch, throwing the blanket to the side. Speeding up my feet on the ground to rush to my room, heading in and scanning my room for my switch.
Bouncing my eyes from the bed to my desk, there it was. Gliding towards it with my socks on, grabbing it by the case's rope or something and picking it up before running out of the room and going back to her. Jumping onto the couch on a very laid back position, scrambling to grab my switch out of its case

Turning it on and smacking my lips, a bit annoyed at how long it was taking

Glued to our screens, sharing brain cells between each other while we carelessly leaned onto each other's shoulders

For the next while, we laid there in silence playing the game. Going through the usual spawn in, break the tree, make wooden pickaxe, use said pickaxe to get stone inside and furnace and you know the rest.
Only talking when we had to communicate on getting food, wool or finding a structure of interest.

Y/N - Fe is an iron oxide also black iron oxide which occurs within Magnetite using the formula Fe3O4. Magnetite is basically in the name, it's a magnet, a strong one too and it's naturally occurring pieces are lodestones, which is funny enough in Minecraft

Y/N - well, if you want it so bad, maybe he feels the same way about you too. To me, I'd never known that Seulgi-noona would love me at all, and out of nowhere it just happened. Same thing with your Haewon-noona, I didn't know at first that I'd love her as deeply as I do now. To care for her and to feel this fire in me for her, for all of them. Even if he doesn't feel the same way, he'll understand with them and if he rejects you, try and try again not until it starts to feel creepy but until he realises his emotions and can give you a proper answer that he won't regret even if it means rejecting you again.

In my hand, I chopped some vegetables, the pot boiling to make a soup for what Jinae wanted tonight.
They just got home like twenty minutes ago so they must be tired, so instead. Even after some internal battles of not wanting to let our Switches go, we had to since we didn't want to burden Haewon even more and plus, I think we needed a break anyways. We sort of died in the nether and lost our stuff. So that's time to cool down as well.
Y/N - wait Yoona, you mind taking over the cutting for a second? I need to look for a bowl
Sully - oh yeah sure
Putting down the knife, her job was to peel the potatoes. Turning around and stepping forward to create space for her, squatting down facing the island's cabinets looking for a bowl
Y/N - uhhh where's that fancy bowl?
Almost furrowing my eyebrows looking for it, a sudden yelp caught me off guard making me stand back up and face Yoona out of concern

Tilting my head slightly at the board, suspecting what I was thinking about which I was right, she accidentally cut her finger

Grabbing a piece of tissue paper and wrapping it around her finger, reaching into one of the cabinet's to grab the first aid kit
Y/N - alright, take off the tissue and run it under water then dry it off

Doing as I said, opening the kit and grabbing some antibiotic cream and a plaster, I watched her dry her finger and the affected area before putting on some of the cream.
Her face cringed a bit, feeling the cream making its effect on the cut

Y/N - I know *sigh* just let me do the cutting

Rubbing on the cream and not letting it congest with itself, distracted by opening the plaster and putting it on her, looking up at her slightly and in the corner of my eye seeing Haewon asleep on the couch with Jinae on top.
Being caught off guard by a sudden touch of her lips upon mine for a slight few seconds before she pulled away, rosy cheeks and her eyes avoiding my gaze.
Remaining silent while I wrapped the plaster around her finger, clearing my throat with a cough not knowing what to say to her.

A slight nod while I put the first aid kit away into the cabinet, also avoiding her eyes.

Sighing once more at her, looking her into her eyes where I could see a bit of the water rising in them, she probably feels a bit embarrassed, maybe disappointed in the way I reacted, expecting a scolding from me.
