- A Love That Lasts Forever
Phuwinâs POV
A year had passed since that night since my mother finally accepted Pond and me. It hadnât been an easy road. There were still moments of doubt, moments where the weight of societyâs judgment felt too heavy, but we had faced them together.
And now, as I stood in front of a full-length mirror, dressed in a white suit, my heart pounded in my chest. Today was the day. The day Pond and I would finally become forever.
"Phuwin, youâre going to wear a hole into the floor if you keep pacing like that," my mom said from behind me, her voice laced with amusement.
I turned to face her, nervous laughter escaping my lips. "I just⦠I canât believe this is real."
She stepped forward, adjusting my tie with gentle hands. "Itâs real, sweetheart. And you deserve every bit of happiness thatâs coming your way."
Tears burned at the back of my eyes. "I never thought Iâd see this day, Mom. I never thought youâd be here with me for this."
She cupped my face, her expression filled with nothing but love. "I will always be here, Phuwin. For you, for Pond. I see how much you love each other. Thatâs all that matters to me."
I hugged her tightly, my heart swelling with gratitude. A year ago, I was terrified of losing her. Now, she was one of our biggest supporters.
"Are you ready?" she asked softly.
I took a deep breath, my fingers tightening around the small velvet box in my pocket that held Pondâs wedding ring. "More than ever."

Pondâs POV
I never thought Iâd be the kind of guy to cry at his own wedding, but here I was, standing at the altar, blinking rapidly to stop the tears from falling.
Then, the doors opened.
And Phuwin walked in.
My heart stopped.
He looked breathtaking in his white suit, his hair slightly tousled, his eyes shining with emotion. It felt like time slowed as he walked toward me, every step bringing him closer to becoming mine forever.
I barely noticed the guests standing, the soft whispers of admiration filling the air. All I saw was him.
And then, he was standing in front of me, his hands trembling slightly as he took mine.
"You look beautiful," I whispered, squeezing his fingers.
He smiled, eyes glossy. "So do you."
The officiant began speaking, but I barely heard anything. My heart was pounding so hard that it drowned out everything else.
Then, it was time for our vows.
Phuwin took a deep breath, looking into my eyes. "Pond⦠the first time I met you, I never thought weâd end up here. We were strangers, then enemies, then something neither of us could quite understand. But through all the pain, all the struggles, I never stopped loving you. You are my home, my safe place, my best friend. And today, I promise to stand by your side, to love you fiercely, to cherish every moment we have togetherâfor the rest of our lives."
A tear slipped down my cheek, but I didnât care.
It was my turn.
"Phuwin⦠You changed my life in ways I never thought possible. You took a broken, guarded man and filled his world with love. Thereâs no one else I want to wake up next to, no one else I want to share my life with. I promise to protect you, to support you, to love you with everything I have. Not just today, not just tomorrowâbut for all the days to come."
Phuwin let out a soft, choked laugh, wiping his own tears.
"With these rings," the officiant said, "you seal your promises to one another."
I reached into my pocket and took out the silver band, slipping it onto Phuwinâs finger with slightly shaking hands.
"With this ring," I whispered, "I give you my heart."
Phuwin did the same, sliding a matching ring onto my finger. "With this ring, I choose youâalways."
The officiant smiled. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you married. You may kiss your husband."
I didnât wait another second.
I pulled Phuwin into my arms and kissed him deeply, pouring every ounce of love I had into that moment.
The room erupted in cheers, but all I could hear was the beating of our hearts, the soft sound of Phuwin whispering against my lips, "We did it."

Phuwinâs POV
The reception was a blur of laughter, dancing, and endless love. My mom and Pondâs family had embraced us fully, and seeing their smiles as they celebrated with us made everything feel even more surreal.
As the night went on, Pond pulled me away from the crowd, leading me outside where fairy lights twinkled above us.
"Come with me," he murmured, taking my hand.
We walked to a quiet part of the garden, the sounds of the party fading behind us. He turned to face me, his fingers brushing against my cheek.
"Are you happy, Phu?" he asked softly.
I smiled, leaning into his touch. "Happier than I ever thought I could be."
He kissed me again, slow and full of promise.
"As long as we have each other," he whispered, "we can face anything."
And as I looked at the man who had become my everything, I knew he was right.
This was just the beginning of our forever.
