When you look at the voice and character, doesnât it seem like the same person?
Even for those who havenât shared their usernames, it looks like itâs the same person based on the pictures.
To sum it up, thereâs this one Korean girl wrecking the upper ranks of the game, right?
If we gather all these videos, I bet weâll end up with something fun to watch.
Oh, and I found a match she played against Sylphie too.

There were so many requests for it, so here it is.
Luckily, the replay file was intact.@@novelbin@@
Itâs mostly a scouting mission up to the two-minute mark, but by around the four-minute mark, she starts getting tied up.
First dunk happens at 5:17, so watch from there.
But seriously, why is this so popular?
Iâve attached the replay file too.

Not a pleasant memory for me, but since everyoneâs asking, here it is.
Give it some upvotes, will you?

Watching you get clobbered was hilarious LOL

Defeat is just another step toward glory for a warrior.
As my victories are mine, so are my defeats.
I have no reason to share the steps of my journey with others.

Alright then
Not long ago, when I was struggling with intense cramps,
I couldnât find any decent prey in the field, so I headed to the arena instead.
I had some fun messing around with foreign players there.
Now, those records have circled back to haunt me, like a boomerang.
Youâre a bad kid! Enjoying the game!
Here to check on you!
Goodbye... with sadness.
[Your opponent has forfeited.]
There was that Guardian who I tormented with the undead.
The archer I drowned in seawater.
And that berserker who was so predictable that I tried a zero-hit challenge on him.
The faces of those Iâd bullied flashed before my eyes one by one.
Some players seemed to have known all along and snickered; Luce, who was sitting in the front, couldnât contain herself and covered her mouth.
Others stole glances at me, trying to act like they werenât watching... but that was somehow more embarrassing.
The middle section of the video showed some decent footage.
Things like the fight with Camellia, where I climbed on her weapon or used the chain scythe.
Naturally, the battle with Haruka was also included.
The real issue was the end of the video.
It closed with a close-up of me looking up at Haruka.
Rabbit?
I let out a laugh as the video ended.
"Now, this was probably the most anticipated highlight. Shall we get a word from our star?"
Suddenly, the announcer was sauntering over to me.
His unusually slow steps likely intended to give me some time to think of a response.
I should come up with something before Hoeun reached me.
Crap. What do I even say?
I canât just blame it on my cramps.
Maybe I should say it wasnât intentional? Not that anyone would believe that.
...Now that I think about it, why should I even make excuses?
Shouldnât they just have played better?
Itâs not my fault they got owned.
Why are the losers acting all smug?
"Gawol, this is your first interview, right? People know your voice, but youâve always been quite secretive. How about greeting your viewers?"
"Oh... Hello. Iâm Gawol, an assassin on the Korean server."
"Wow, what a lovely voice. Such a calm voice, but your gameplay is so intense! How does that happen?"
"Well, I guess I just do whatâs fun. Itâs my way of finding entertainment. Just playing isnât that fun on its own."
I decided to be somewhat honest.
I did it for the thrill, so whatâs the big deal?
Hoeunâs eyes widened, followed by a broad grin.
"Hahaha! The players in those videos are quite skilled, but you seem to have high standards. Can we expect this same notorious gameplay in the arena?"
"I think so... If I have the energy, I can dunk anyone into the ocean. If theyâre not into the ocean, I can find somewhere else."
"Wonderful! Here we have the dark horse of this arenaâGawol, ready to stir things up at any moment!"
The introductions and highlights of other players continued after me.
For Luce, they focused on her steadfast Paladin playstyle and personal storyline, while Traveler was praised for his relentlessness.
Each highlight reel was so well-made that I lost track of time watching them all. Even mine... turned out pretty well, I must admit.
After the highlights ended, the group draw officially began.
The key here was to avoid tough opponents and pick favorable matchups for my group.
This time, the draw followed a snake draft format.
The top seeds for the eight groups were assigned based on qualifying order.
Top seeds got to pick first, then the selected players would take turns picking.
"Cerberus, youâre up first. Many are curious about your pickâany player youâre particularly wary of?"
"Hmm... If I had to choose, Iâd say Sylphie. Witches are tricky for my class."
The interview seemed casual enough.
But there was something about his words that rubbed me the wrong way.
"So, youâre saying... Reaper, Luce, and Leme arenât tough competitors?"
"No, thatâs not what I think. I have an advantage over Reaper, and Iâm confident against other warrior classes. Besides, why fear someone Iâve already beaten?"
Ah, there it was.
From the start, Cerberus didnât consider anyone outside the European players as true competitors.
It was practically a taunt toward Luce.
Even I felt annoyed, though Luce seemed unfazed.
Or maybe not entirely.
There was a slight rigidity in Luceâs breathing.
"Well, thatâs a statement worthy of a European powerhouse. Letâs see Cerberusâs pick!"
Cerberus walked up to the center stage and selected a name without hesitation.
The first slot in Group A was filled by a warrior from China, a safe choice that wouldnât likely pick Sylphie next.
It was a cautious and logical decision.
The other groups made safe picks too, mostly choosing favorable matchups.
The less-known players were the first sacrifices, and I wasnât given any special treatment.
"Reaper, will you stick to your preference for mage classes? Oh, heâs picked Gawol! Gawol will be first in Group E!"
I could see why he made that choice.
At the end of the day, Iâm still an amateur.
From a proâs perspective, I probably seem a bit easier to handle.
They probably think Iâm an easy target, especially since Iâm not well-known overseas.
I understand that, but it still hurts my pride.
Reaperâs character was a young boy with dark circles.
Rumor had it that he based the look on his real-life appearance.
There was something unpleasant about his demeanor.
Our eyes met, and we didnât exchange a word.
Iâll make sure you regret this.
"Reaper, youâve chosen another assassin class. Does this mean youâre confident in same-class matchups?"
"Firewood fighters are too weak, and muscleheads are boring to fight."
"So, he finds spellcasters low-stakes and warrior classes too slow."
Hoeun nailed the translation.
See, heâs a real piece of work.
Show some respect for your opponents.
"So, does this mean youâre hoping for a good fight against Gawol?"
"Yes. Itâs been a while since Korea produced a decent assassin. Honestly, the standards have been disappointing."
Wait, what?
Maybe heâs not so bad after all.
Looking at Reaper again, I felt a bit differently.
Yes, thatâs a respectable mindset.
Anyone with a strong will can be a friend of mine.
