Ava lied a little as she did not want Daniel to worry about her just because of Naya’s mother. She also did not want Daniel to misunderstand anything.

Daniel did not doubt what Ava said. He just saw that most of Ava’s upper body was wet and figured that this could not have been done with just a glass of water. However, Daniel did not ask any questions.

Daniel took a clean towel and handed it to Ava. Before he could speak, he heard Ava sneeze. He frowned worriedly. “I’ll take you home to change first. Otherwise, I’m afraid you’ll really catch a cold.”

Ava was happy that Daniel cared about her so much. She smiled and nodded. “Okay.”

Seeing the smile on Ava’s face, Daniel immediately felt very happy.

“It’ll be amazing if it is.” Ava was delighted.

She wanted to contact Neil so that he could take a look at Daniel. However, she was worried that she would mess up Daniel’s natural recovery with her anxiety. After pondering for a while, Ava figured that she would not go see Neil for the time being.

However, Neil and Raegan wanted so badly to see Ava. After Naya had been sentenced, they had never seen Ava again.
