I feel this is a boring chapter if you do too please comment so Ik I am not the only one.
Ava POV
I walked upstairs with the packed food she and I ordered. I wasn't going to eat alone. Reaching her door, I knocked on her door. "Not now guy's." Okay she has mistaken me with the peeps. Good. Good? I opened the door making myself enter and closing the door.
"Guy's I said notâ" she stopped mid-sentence when she spotted me.
"Ava" she breathed out my name making me shudder. "Umm, I am sorry for screaming at you at the restaurant but right now I would like to be alone." she said turning around again and walking off to the balcony. I sighed putting the food on the center table and setting it out for us to eat.
"Too bad for you, I am hungry and you left me at the restaurant all alone, so I had to pack our food and come here because I don't like eating alone, you should know that by now by the time we have had spent." I said making her turn around quickly with a look which I couldn't decipher.
"Ava are you here to taunt me again that I wasted your time when you were spending with me or that I am the wrong one here and my ex was right because believe me I know. I am trying so hard for you to forgive for the things I have done to you. I know I broke your heart and now I am trying to do whatever for you to forgive but nothing is working. I am tired with everything, and I cannot expect you to forgive me so easily and come back to me for the thing I did. No butâ" she sighed, she misunderstood what I said to her, her hands starting to tremble, is she crying or having a panic attack.
Her body started shaking vigourously, dammit. Panic attack. I was quick on my feet and in seconds I was in front of her taking a hold of her hands making her look up at me. Tears were streaming down her cheeks, god. The sight broke me. I cupped her face making her having a direct eye contact with me.
"Olivia breathe, okay breath in, breathe out." I said, for her to listen and do what I say to clam her down. She nodded her head and did what I said. "Yes that's good. Breath in breath out" I repeated, her breathing coming back to normal. She pulled back from me "Thank you" she said looking elsewhere. I walked up to her holding her chin making her look up.
"For what" I muttered. Staring in her brown eyes, feeling the same feeling I felt when I first looked at her.
"For helping me out, even if you were obliged to do." I furrowed my eyebrow, obliged to do.
"I did it because I wanted to do not because I was obliged to do it." Now she furrowed her eyebrow hearing what I said.
"Why, why would you want to help me." she asked me.
"Why won't I help you, I mean I know I have been a bit harsh to you, but you should know I still feel the same way I used to feel before." I said, her eye widened at my confession. I mean it is kind of sudden me trying to forgive her and tell her that I still feel for her.
"Youâyou still haveâfeelings for me." she asked stuttering, I nodded my head.
"I do" I whispered leaning a bit close to her my hand reaching up to tuck some strands of her hair behind her ear, she closed her eyes at feeling the contact of hand on her cheek.
"Even after what I did to you." she said under her breath saying with a low voice that nobody could hear but I did. I tilted my head making a smile appear on my face.
"Even after what you did." She opened her eyes, not saying anything she brought her hand up touching my cheek and then suddenly pinching. I yelped.
"Why'd you do that." I said retracting my hand from her cheek and rubbing mine where she pinched, "IâI am sorry, I thought this was a dream" she said fastly walking close to me and rubbing my cheek softly.
"Definately not a dream Olivia" I said leaning on her hand. "So you forgive" she asked, I sighed she is not believing now is she. I cupped her cheek, "Yes I forgive you and I am sorry too." This bought a huge big smile on her face and she just jumped in my arms, wrapping her arms around my neck, I was a few inches smaller than her, so I had my arms wrapped around her waist tightly my head burying in her neck, inhaling her sweet rose scent again after a long time bought a long lost feeling I had before our fight. Happiness.
Her chin resting on my head I could feel the vibration when she spoke. "You forgive, and I am not dreaming." I nodded my head in the crook of her neck which was kind of difficult. "Yes"
She pulled back smiling brightly cupping my cheeks, I smiled looking at her smile. She was happy. I am happy.
"Now can we go eat our food" I told her feeling my stomach grumble. "Yes, yes of course." she said taking my hand and lead me to the table where I set the food. I moaned at the bite of the burger in my mouth, that's a good shit of burger there.
" This shit is good" I said my mouth full of burger chunks. I looked at her she was just playing with her salad and not eating it.
"Olivia" I called her out, her body shook and she looked at me. "What, did you say something." I kept my half eaten burger on the plate and stood up and knelt down in front of her my hands on her lap.
"What happen" I asked her holding her hands in mine. The spark I felt touching her hand, it's there. I knew she felt it too because of the smile on her face.
"Nothing, I am sorry but I am just thinking that now all of a sudden you forgive me." she said rubbing her thumb on my wrist. I exhaled deeply, "Olivia, I know this is sudden but the night you went missing at the club Andrea had told me somethings which made me come to realization. That it wasn't your fault, you are a hunter who is taught to kill monster like us."
"Ava you are'tâ" I shook my head for her to stop and let me continue. "Listen, I know now that you don't think of me that, but it wasn't your or your family's fault. Even my parent's told me, tried making me understand that to think of your point of view and see that it wasn't your fault and I was a fool to not do that. So here I am trying to make everything right. So taking baby step's I forgive you." I told her with all the emotions I had in me.
"Ava thatâthat just doesn't justify to what IâI did to you." she said her voice breaking in between. "Nah it doesn't but you do feel guilty right, so I guess now it does." She let out a chuckle cupping my cheeks.
"You are too good to be true you know that." she whispered bringing our face close to each other, our foreheads touching. I nodded my head. "I know you cannot find any duplicate person like me in this world. I am the one and only available here. It might be damaged too."
"Doesn't matter, I am happy with this piece." she whispered her breath touching my mouth. I pulled myself out of her and stood up. "You know what, we should start over go on date and that way you can get to know me too, now that you will listen to all my rubbish, I am kinda pissed you ignored whatever I said to you." I said directly looking at her.
She furrowed her brows "Hey, I am sorry but this time it will be the real me, with real feelings for you." she replied with an innocent face. I just smiled looking at her. I walked up to her to kiss her cheeks but before I could the door burst opened.
"I heard something about date."Theo said entering the room with Andrea and Liam behind him. "Yes, you can come in." I said sarcastically to him for not asking whether if he can come in or not. He flipped me off to which I just scoffed.
"So we heard something about date." Andrea said flopping down on the bed. "Were you guys listening to us the whole time" I questioned looking at Theo specifically.
"Nah, not the whole time only when you were talking about start over shit." Liam said eating my uneaten burger. "Hey, that's mine" I shrieked at him. He just shrugged off his shoulders "Sorry, well I was hungry." he said sheepishly.
"Dude you just ate" Theo said staring at me. "Hey don't judge my consumption on food." He said glaring back at Theo. "Seriously both of you are kids when you are together." Andrea spoke up.
"You can have my salad, if you want." Olivia said holding her salad plate out to me. I made a gross face looking at the green leaves in it, yup not good for my stomach.
"Nah you can have your appetite to yourself, not good for my stomach. I guess I have to sleep empty stomach now, bye I am going to sleep." I said walking away.
"Hey what about the date, need some information." Theo said sitting up straight. "Now that's only for me to know and for Olivia to find out, tomorrow be ready by 7:00. Oyasuminasai" I said giving a salute then going for some sleep.
"Hey Ava" Theo called me out. "What"
"Do you remember what I said when you were going on your first date." he questioned. I shook my head.
"I told you, I have met psychopaths throughout the century, who kill their date on the first meeting. Turns out I was right, but it was technically second or was it first date when Olivia attacked you." he said. I looked at Olivia her face held a sad expression.
"Theodore Lopez, do you ever think before you speak." I said with a big anger. He realized what he said and apologized to her.
"I am sorry Liv" She shook her smiling slightly "It's okay." I just glared at him and returned to Olivia.
"Olivia, someone once told me they value time, so now I do too. So please be ready by 7:00pm." I said walked away.
