Ava POV
"I am sorry, I am sorry" Olivia said walking down the stairs wearing her sandal she held in her hand. I kept my hand on my waist.
"Late, exactly 2 minutes, you are late. What happened to being on punctual"I mocked.
"Ohh hush, I am only 2 minutes late, you were what around 10 minutes late."
"Ahh so you guys are ready to go on the date." Mom asked.
"Mom" I groaned.
"Yes Mrs Lopez" Olivia replied.
"Ohh sweetie, you can call me Isabelle or belle from now on." Mom marked out.
"Okay byee, Mom." I said grabbing Olivia's arm and going walking out. "You, kid's enjoy and sleep early it's Christmas tomorrow gotta wake up early." She said out loud. I raised a thumbs up for her to know we heard.
I walked up to my car opening the gate for her to get in. She chuckled getting in. I closed the door quickly walking to the driver's seat.
"So where are we going." She asked looking at me. "It's surprise." I said grinning widely. "I hate surprises" I heard her mutter. I just chuckled and drove to our location.

"You did not" she said in a shocked voice. "Hmm, maybe I did." I said standing right behind her, with some distant between us. She turned around looking at me with her gorgeous smile on her face. She took a step towards me taking a hold of my cheeks, not feeling comfortable, i grabbed her hand and took her to spot.
A table with a candle in between with her favourite chicken sandwich and red wine and of course bourbon for me.
"Madame" I said pulling out a seat for her. She smirked and sat back down, I ran back to my seat and sat down looking ahead at her. She was smiling admiring the view around her and I was admiring her. We are starting again, leaving our past. I planned this on top of the hill, where at night we can see the whole city.
I found this place after knowing that the rouges hide out is behind the waterfall. "Shall we eat" I asked motioning towards the food. She nodded and started digging in her food. Everything is going great right now, we have the location of the rouge's and we are planning to attack them. Olivia's parents have become besties with mine, we are friends everything is fine, but something isn't between me and her.
I agreed to forgive her, I accepted her to start things again, but I feel something hollow in my heart as if I am still hurt by her betrayal who knows maybe this is her plan again to kill, who knows the girl in the restaurant was just an act by her friend for me to feel sympathy towards her and forgive her. No she can't do it again right, she asked for my forgiveness and I gave her. She is chanâ " Ava is everything alright?" she asked.
"Have you changed?" The words fell out my mouth.
"What?"
"The girl in the restaurant was she your ex for real or was that also an act by your other friend Olivia?" I shot at her, I din't know what came over me but my mind was now constantly running these questions, because I wasn't believing even if I wanted to that she is changed and actually trying here.
"Avaâ" she stopped mid-sentence when we heard my car beeping loudly disturbing the silence. I used my speed and ran towards it to stop the person who was trying to break in my car. But I found no one except broken window and a piece of paper with rock in it. I heard Olivia running coming towards me.
"What happen" she said breathing heavily. "Stay here" I ordered and used my speed to check through nearby if anyone is hidden or still running but found no one, I ran back to my car to find Olivia reading the note with a shock expression.
Why is she shocked.
I took the paper from her and read the sentence written in big bold letter's with blood.
"DON'T FORGET IF I CAN GRAB MY HANDS ON EMMA THEN I CAN GET MY HAND ON BEN TOO, STOP INTERFERING IN MY WAY".
NO FUCKING WAY IN HELL. Threatening Ben's life. Fuck him, I will fucking kill him.
"Ava calâ"
"Get in the fucking car Olivia" I said with anger lacing in every word, I am angry and that's the emotion which is controlling my mind. Fury.
Getting in the car I waited for Olivia to get in and sped the car to the orphanage. Going over speed limit, All I could think was I have to hurry and get to Ben to make sure he is safe. He needs to be safe, I need to be there with him, and here I was out having fun not even thinking of his safety, how selfish I am.
My vision turned better when I let my Vampire side come out and increased the car speed to reach as soon as possible.
"Ava, please slow down" I din't listen to her instead I pushed the gas puddle more to drive more fast. "Ava, you should slow doâ"
"Don't fucking tell me to slow down when ben's life is in fucking danger Olivia" I screamed at her my eyes focused on the road. Right now nothing else was in my mind except getting to Ben before he is hurt. How dare that filthy Vampire blackmail me using Ben.
I am going to kill him after I get Ben's safety assurance.
Olivia Pov
Entering the home we were greeted by everyone in the living room, Ben was with Ava, sleeping on her shoulder. She brought him with her, saying he is safe in her house then the orphanage. Her mom stood up and walked towards us but before she could ask Ava said.
"I will answer all of your question but first let me lay Ben down" and walked upstairs with his bag in her hand.
"What happen Olivia" her father asked with my father standing beside him, I handed the paper we found in her crack to them.
"It was rogues, they smashed her car window's and kept it there and ran away. They are threatening us with Ben's life so we went to orphanage to check on Ben, and Ava suggested to bring him home thinking house is the safe place for him."
"This is ridiculous, threatening to kill a child. How low will that vampire stoop. We have to do something." my mom said.
"And we will, Mom tomorrow is Christmas, we will celebrate it normally with ben, and then we plan and attack before New Year." Ava said walking downstairs.
"Howâ"her brother continued but she stopped him "We will, I don't care this is getting out of hands threatening Ben's life. It is my duty to save him and protect the orphanage children. We will talk about this in morning right now I am going to sleep." she said and walked away towards her room.
Great, now she is angry and not talking to me.
