It's been almost 3 days since that night,when Dayu went to Wang Qing's house. Wang Qing clearly remembered Dayu stayed there until morning but when he woke up,Dayu was no where inside his house. He went to Dayu's apartment but he was not home each and every time. Wang Qing had a lot of questions he wanted to ask but he can't seem to keep find Dayu anywhere. Even his phone was switched off. Wang Qing started to get worried so he drove off to the National Museum.
"Irene"
Wang Qing called out for that woman once he laid his eyes on her walking around the information counter. Irene turned around and beamed as she saw Wang Qing walking toward her.
"Oh look who is here" said Irene as she flashed her smile and stepped forward.
"Sorry to interrupt you during working hour," apologized Wang Qing once their eyes met.
"It's fine.Meeting people is part of my job" she winked and let out a little laugh before asked "Are you here to find more information about that ancient general again?"
"No,i am not here for that.Ummm- " Wang Qing paused.My mouth suddenly felt heavy.
"My boyfriend perhaps?" guessed Irene. Wang Qing faintly nodded his head.
"Something happened to him?" Irene asked as she gasped.
Wang Qing quickly shook his head and said "No.Well i don't know that's why i am here.Last time i saw him was few nights ago"
"During blackout?But that is impossible" Irene furrowed her brows.
"Beg your pardon?" said Wang Qing. He was already confused by what happened that night but he got more confused during that chat with Irene.
"We went to your apartment that night but you did not show up.We knocked few times" explained Irene.
"What are you talking about.That night we.....". Wang Qing pressed his lips. He was about to spilled on what they did that night.
"Hmm?I was with him until midnight" Irene slightly tilted her head.
Wang Qing wanted to ask more but flock of students suddenly came in and Irene had to tend to them. Wang Qing bid goodbye and drove off to the station. Along the way he kept on thinking about the other night.What actually happened?Was he imagining things?What game are you playing  Jianyu.
Upon arriving at the station,he immediately searched for Chengyu but unfortunately he took a day off. Wang Qing proceeded to meet his acquaintance and asked for help;looking into Feng Jianyu's record.Wang Qing knew it was illegal to do so but he desperately need an answer.Being a wise officer,his friend declined his request. Again Wang Qing failed in his mission. He stood in front of the station as he placed his hands on his waist. He looked up and said "Let's play a game then" before getting into his car and drove back to his apartment. Two weeks of suspension almost up,he must report back in duty soon.When that time arrives,he won't have time for that little play anymore.
Wang Qing packed his things and put them into a small luggage. He had a plan in his mind,by hook or by crook he will make that happen. He took an elevator to the fifth floor on the opposite building and rang the bell as he stood in front of Dayu's apartment. No one answering the door though he been pressing the bell for numerous of times. So he decided to sit and wait. Neighbors walked passed him gave a certain look but none of that bothered him as he sat while waiting. Dayu did not come home until later that evening. Wang Qing thought his bottom might get a cramp from sitting for too long.
"Wang Qing?What brings you here?" asked Dayu when he saw Wang Qing in front of his apartment.
Wang Qing stood up and rubbed his legs."I want to hire you as interior designer for my house" he said.
"Sure,i can do that but what's with the luggage?" asked Dayu as he took out a key from his pocket.
"While you are at it,i am planning on staying here" Wang Qing lifted up his luggage,ready to enter Dayu's apartment.
"But i am not even starting on it yet," said Dayu as he turned around,but Wang Qing already made his way into his house.
"Thank you for having me" said Wang Qing while walking into guest room and placed his luggage on the floor.
Dayu was left speechless but he did nothing about it.He just let Wang Qing be. Dayu did his daily routine as usual though Wang Qing would always observes him.Sometimes Wang Qing would offer help and sometimes he just stood quietly while watching. When he left for work the next day,Wang Qing followed along.
"Just treat me as your personal bodyguard.It's free,what's there to complaint about" said Wang Qing with a bright smile. The word 'free' got Dayu sold. He allowed Wang Qing following him around with a condition that he will not disturb him while working to which Wang Qing agreed.When Dayu went to buy his groceries,Wang Qing would push the trolley and later carried bags for him. When using a restroom,Wang Qing would guard at the entrance. For once in his life,Dayu felt like he being treated like a mob boss or someone along the line.
"Is following me around part of your idea on protecting me?" asked Dayu while walking into the elevator. He closed the door and pushed button with 5 written on it.
"Sort of" answered Wang Qing short.
"I learned martial art before,so i am capable of protecting myself" said Dayu as he looked at the floor indicator.
"Me too" said Wang Qing.
Dayu gave up on talking. When they arrived,Dayu went straight to the kitchen preparing for dinner while Wang Qing went to take his bath. Wang Qing never mentioned anything about the night before. It was like a case where only CIA has answer to that. Wang Qing sat on the bed,drying off his hair with a towel.
"WANG QING"
He heard a scream from outside.He stood up and rushed to the source of that voice.When he entered the kitchen,he saw Dayu stood on a chair while pointing at the floor.
"What is it?I don't see anything?" Wang Qing backed off a little while scanning the floor.He bent down and looked at every opening but saw nothing.
"I saw it going into that small hole there," said Dayu while pointing.
"It as in what?A snake?" asked Wang Qing. He hardly saw anything.
"Nooooo- Cockroach!A big one!It landed on my hand just now," said Dayu. Wang Qing lifted his head,looking at Dayu with a disbelief look.
"Aha- Who was the one saying that he is capable of protecting himself?Tsk- Get down from there" Wang Qing shook his head. Dayu looked around as he slowly put down his leg one after another.
"They did not teach me how to deal with cockroach" reasoned Dayu.
"Just go and sit at the table,i will prepare for dinner," instructed Wang Qing.
"Half naked,with just towel on your waist?" questioned Dayu. Wang Qing looked down,he was indeed in just towel.
"You have problem with that?" he asked with a smirk on his face. Dayu shrugged his shoulder and walked out from the kitchen.
Wang Qing prepared simple dishes for dinner but they both enjoyed it. When scene from earlier hit his mind,he would smiled to himself. After dinner Dayu usually immerses himself with his work but that night he sat at the dining table for some time. Wang Qing bid him goodnight after drinking a glass of water but Dayu told him to sit down.
"About your apartment,how would you like it to be?Classical,vintage or something you had in your mind," asked Dayu.
"How about you choose for me,i am not familiar with the design."
"I still want to know your preference"
"Give me some examples and i will choose from those then" replied Wang Qing.
"Then i will show you some later on" said Dayu.
Wang Qing nodded and stood up,he bid good night for the second time.
"How about you and that hostess girl?Things are good?" asked Dayu when Wang Qing was about to step away.
"Her name is A Lin..We don't see each other much but we are good. She is a good friend of mine," replied Wang Qing. He was still standing as if he can't wait to leave.
"Good friend?I thought both of you are lovers" Dayu looked at Wang Qing who finally took a sit.
"No,we are good friends.It was something between friends and lovers but now we maintain as good friends."
"I see.Then how about work?I don't see you going to work"
"Took you long to ask me that.I was suspended for two weeks,going back in couple of days" answered Wang Qing. He then asked "How things with Irene?"
"Fine.She helped me a lot," said Dayu in cheerful tone of voice. Wang Qing smiled at him. He did not feel like asking for more. Wang Qing is  a jealous type of person. Even though Irene is a good girl but hearing Dayu talking about her caused a stir in his heart.
"That night during blackout,i went to your house....."
"Good night Dayu" Wang Qing cut off Dayu words as he stood up and walked away,heading toward guest room.
Dayu sighed as he lowered his gaze. Is Wang Qing finally gave up on him?

Hundred of years ago an immortal being,disciple of a dragon met a young boy while he was lurking on the ground. The boy sat on a dusty ground,bawling his eyes as he buried his face in between his knees.
The immortal approached and asked the young boy "Why are you crying?"
The boy replied "Some people took my apple.I bought it for my mother who craved to have one."
He asked again if the boy fight back to get his apple,and the boy said "Yes,but they are larger and stronger than me"
The immortal thought for a while and said "How about i teach you how to be strong?"
The boy lifted up his face and looked up.His eyes were shining with hope as he nodded his head.So the immortal thought him few moves and told him to be good guy when he grows up. When the night came,the boy went home and the immortal went up to where he belonged.
Few years passed by,the immortal watched the boy grew up into a strong teenager.His master,the dragon warned him not to get involved in human's business but he ignored the warning when he saw the teenager being surrounded by bandits. He once again went down to offer help but was hit by one of the bandit. The immortal was strong enough to fight all bandits but that teenage boy stood firmly in front of him.
"You will not be harm,i will protect you" he said. The teenage boy managed to drive those bandits away though he was injured. At that very moment,the immortal vowed that he will protect and cherish the young teenage boy.
The same teenager grew up and became a powerful general later on. The immortal would silently watched for him days and nights. On the day the general almost died,the immortal once again broke the rule by descending to the ground and rescued the general. His action caused uproar and he was called by his master.
"You bringing me disgrace among dragons.You know what happened to immortals if they fall in love with humans"
"Yes master,i know."
"Do you wish to disappear?"
"I wish to fulfill my vow"
"A week.If you don't come back within the time limit then you know what will happen right"
The immortal nodded his head and went back to the ground.He might be immortal but time limit allowed on the ground was only a week.If an immortal stayed for more than a week,he bound to die.He stayed for more than a week on the ground,thus a single shot from an arrow caused his death.But his kind master was kind enough to grant him a wish.
"I wish for him to live" said the immortal.
His master granted his wish and let the general lived few more years. What the immortal did not know is the fact that his master also granted a wish from the general,to keep his memories even in his next life.The immortals who spent their last wish on others get a chance to reincarnate and that immortal who goes by the name Jianyu wished to be born at the same era as the general.His soul wandered around looking for incarnation of the general until hundred of years later when he can finally meet him again.
