Chapter 952:noveldrama
Alicia greeted her warmly. âThank you for your hard work, Dr. Ramos.â
Jaida recognized Alicia instantly. At the recent banquet, Alicia and Caden had drawn much attention. Alicia had dressed elegantly, shining like a star at the event, and even without makeup now, her natural, radiant beauty was striking. It was no surprise Caden was displeased with Jaidaâs suggestion to abstain from sex. Alicia was simply too alluring.
Jaida smiled at Alicia and said, âYou should head back early.â
Alicia nodded.
Before departing, Jaida reminded Caden, âMr. Ward, remember my suggestions.â
Caden was momentarily lost for words.
Alicia had been exhilarated all day, but by the time they reached the hotel, she was worn out. Yet, she didnât forget to review Cadenâs medical advice. She barely managed to read a few lines before her eyelids began to droop.
Caden, not wanting to shower alone, suggested, âThereâs a massage service customized by the Shaw family on this floor. Want to try it?â
Alicia wasnât particularly interested in massages but was curious about the Shaw familyâs bespoke service. âOf course, we should try it.â
The dayâs banquet had been an eye-opener for Alicia, showing her what true wealth looked like. For someone who had acquired her wealth later in life, it was a humbling experience.
Caden picked up some clothes and scooped her up.
Leaning lazily on his shoulder, Alicia murmured, âDo you know how much the Shaw family spent on todayâs party for the babyâs first-month celebration?â Caden guessed, âProbably tens of millions.â
It was close to Aliciaâs estimate. She marveled, âMr. Shaw also has a daughter. I heard her first celebration was even more extravagant, with small celebrations every month and a grand one every six months, spending lavishly without hesitation.â
Caden chuckled at her description. âI saw his daughter today. Sheâs only four, but sheâs so adorable that it justifies her fatherâs lavish spending.â
Alicia felt a twinge of envy. The Shaw couple truly doted on their children.
Caden smiled gently. âOur daughter will be just as happy in the future.â
Aliciaâs heart warmed at the thought of a chubby little child, and she couldnât help but smile. âDo you prefer a son or a daughter?â she asked.
Caden said, âI love them both.â As long as they were his and Aliciaâs children, he would cherish them.
At the entrance of the massage room, a high-tech robot greeted them.
Aliciaâs eyes widened. âWhy does it look so familiar?â Caden recognized it immediately. âItâs one of my companyâs robots. I bet the masseurs inside are robots too.â
Alicia was stunned. Was this the Shaw familyâs custom service, or just a prank by Brysen?
