Chapter 1010 If You Lose, Let Your Wife Kiss Me!
James couldnât wait to go back and settle a deal with his wife. After taking a few sips of red wine, he put down his glass and left hand and hand with Amelia.
When the two of them, accompanied by a group of bodyguards, walked out of the super VIP room, they ran into Herb, who was coming out of another VIP room.
Upon seeing James, Herbâs chiseled face darkened.
After staring coldly at James for a few seconds, Herb suppressed his hatred and shifted his gaze to Amelia.
âMy dear sister, I thought you were a well-behaved girl. I didnât expect you to come to the casino to have fun.â
Sister?
James froze and he looked at Amelia, wondering if Amelia had known about her identity.
Without noticing Jamesâ gaze, Amelia asked Herb, âCanât a good girl come and have fun here?â
Herb approached her fearlessly and bent down to look at her, saying, âGood girls should stay at home and donât come to places like this.â
Good girlsâ¦
James realized that Herb, this little brat, was flirting with his wife.
James wrapped his arms around Ameliaâs waist, pulling her away from Herb, and coldly said, âGet lost.â
Amelia looked up at James and noticed that his expression was very cold. It seemed like he really disliked Herb being close to her.
But she always felt a certain familiarity with Herb that she couldnât quite put into words. He made her feel very comfortable, like the kind of comfort an older sister feels toward her younger brother.
However, James had mentioned that the Evans family and the Clark family had a long-standing feud, so Mrs. Evans, even if she felt familiar with Herb, she had to stay away from him.
Herbâs deep gaze slowly moved from Ameliaâs body to the hand that was holding her slender waist.
Since James valued Amelia so much, she must mean a lot to him.
In that case, it would be interesting.
Herb stood up straight, put his hands in his pockets, and made way for a path beside him.
James didnât even look at him but held Amelia in his arms and left with the bodyguards.
As they reached the end of the hallway, Herbâs loud and clear voice came from behind them.
âMr. Evans, letâs make a bet. If you lose, let your wife kiss me!â
