Chapter 16 play cards
Amelia was so focused on the cards that she did not notice that she was already sitting on Kevinâs lap.
She turned around and asked Kevin, âHow could we combine them into a continuous
card?â
Kevin took the cards in her hand, quickly made up a set of numbers, and put them out.
When Kayla saw this, she rolled her eyes unhappily. âMr. Harris, youâre cheating.â
Kevin raised his eyebrows. âJust tell me if you can beat this.â
Kayla snorted, put away her cards, and leaned against the sofa.
When Amelia saw Kayla like this, she knew the cards in her hands could not defeat her.
At this moment, her tightly furrowed brows slightly relaxed.
She was happy and looked back at Kevin with a smile.
Seeing her smile, Kevinâs heart skipped a beat, and he couldnât help kissing her again.
The cold touch instantly brought Amelia back to reality. Only then she realized she was sitting on Kevinâs lap.
She struggled to push him away, but Kevin was reluctant to let go of her. âIf you move again, Iâll do it with you right here, right
now!â
Hearing this, Amelia was too scared to move anymore. She turned around with a pale face, and her gaze again met Jamesâs.
As she looked back at James, she noticed the corners of his were now scarlet, and a sense of bloodthirsty chill emanated from him, causing her heart to tremble.
Was heâ¦
eyes
When she wondered if James cared about her, he suddenly played a pair of kings and beat her, followed by several bombs, not giving her any chance to fight back.
Her expression darkened as she realized he had finished playing all his cards.
Kayla said excitedly, âI only have the last set of cards left.â
Afterward, she threw a few cards on the table and raised her eyebrows at Paul and Amelia.
âYou lost. According to the gameâs rules, both of you have to take off one piece of clothing.â
Paul smiled helplessly, put down the unfinished cards in his hand, and took off his jacket.
Only then did Kayla turn to look at Amelia. âMs. Garcia, Paul

has already taken off his clothes. Itâs your turn now.â
