"Where are you taking me?" I mumbled to the man who was staring at me.

We have been driving for what felt like forever. I was in so much pain from the accident and was feeling weak from the seizure that was still building inside of me.

I didn't know why it wasn't hitting me or what was holding it up but maybe my fight or flight was kicking in.

"Shut up." The man said as I rolled my eyes. I expected myself to be a little more scared but this guy didn't know I was a professional at getting kidnapped at this point.

We drove for a little while before we stopped and the door swung open.

I was expecting to see Mike, or I guess Adam? I still had no idea who Colby was talking about.

Instead it was a man wearing a mask so I couldn't see who it was.

He was taller and broader than the guy I've been dating though.

"Up you go." The guy said and yanked me out of the van and over his shoulder.

I grunted at the pain that radiated throughout my body but tried to keep quiet.

The man walked for a while before he opened a trap door in the ground.

He jumped down then carried me down a rickety staircase.

"Where do you want her?" The main carrying me asked.

"I don't know, dumbass. Maybe in the chair." 'Mike' said as the main walked to the corner of the room.

"Tie her up." He ordered as the man slammed me in a chair.

"Ah!" I gasped as he pulled my arms back and tied them tightly behind me.

"What are you doing?" I asked angrily, looking at the man who I trusted with my siblings.

It was the man I trusted with my heart, too.

Never again.

"You made a couple mistakes, Juliana." He said with a twisted smile. "You fell for a man in a uniform." He said with a laugh.

"Michael was weak, but he was easy." He said as a chill went down my spine. "That reminds me. You can call me Adam, sweetheart." He said as I clenched my jaw.

"I'm not calling you anything, asshole." I snapped. "Ah, so you are a little bitch. Huh?" Adam hummed and rubbed his chin.

"Anyways. You made a few mistakes. You didn't put out which put me in a bad mood. I don't do well when I'm in a bad mood." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"Enough of that." He seethed then smacked me across the face.

"God, you're a little brat." He grumbled. "Anyways. That was one mistake you made. The second is pretending like you don't know who Colby Brock is."  Adam said as my eyes widened slightly.

"And you just confirmed it." He said with a chuckle. "That's all I needed." He said then turned to go upstairs.

"What are you going to do with him?" I asked, my voice coming out weaker than I wanted. "Worried?" He asked as I shook my head.

"He's not going to come here." I said quietly. "Word on the street is that he's obsessed with you." He said as I shook my head.

"He wants nothing to do with me. I can promise you that." I said as he hummed.

"We'll see about that." He said then turned to go up the stairs. "You know what to do when he gets here." Adam said then glanced back at me.

"Gag her. I don't want her to speak." Adam said then went upstairs.

The man who carried me down the stairs grabbed a dirty cloth and wrapped it around my head, shoving it into my mouth.

I gagged against it and glared at the man in the mask in front of me.

"You really are a pretty thing. I understand why he's mad you wouldn't sleep with him." The guy said then paced the small room.

I narrowed my eyes, glaring at him as much as I could.

"Sit tight." The guy said then ducked into the shadows behind the stairs.

I didn't know what this guys plan was and I didn't know if Colby would even care enough to come find me.

I regretted calling him. Now that I knew that they weren't after me and they were after him, it made me feel like shit.

He wouldn't have even known about all of this if my dumb ass didn't call him.

While we sat in silence, I tried to formulate a plan. If Colby was to actually come, I wanted to have something ready.

We sat in silence for a while before there were footsteps coming down the stairs.

I was expecting it to be Adam or maybe another man but instead it was Colby.

He had his gun drawn as he looked around the room. When his eyes fell on mine I tried to get him to turn around.

I tried to tell him that it was a trap and that he needed to get out but before I could the guy from before came out of the shadows and struck him in the head with the butt of his gun.

I screamed against the cloth as Colby stumbled.

I noticed Jeremy behind him, coming down the stairs and tried to warn him, too.

Colby stumbled onto the ground, with his hand on his head.

It didn't look like he was knocked out though, maybe a little dazed, but not completely out.

The guy then brought his attention to Jeremy, who was trying to attack him.

This was my window.

I stood up and ran over so I could jump on the guys back.

My hands were tied behind my back so it was hard to do this but I just needed to distract this guy long enough for Colby to get his shit together.

"Get off, you bitch!" The guy groaned and tried to shove me off of him.

I was able to hold on for a while before he threw me off, throwing me into the wall.

I grunted against the cloth, watching Jeremy and the other guy fighting.

I watched as the guy punched Jeremy in the jaw, causing him to topple to the ground.

I whimpered then stood up again, jumping on the guys back once again.

I locked my knees into his sides so he couldn't push me off.

"Get! Off!" He growled and knocked his head back into my nose, sending a deep pain through it.

I gasped at the pain, but held on as tightly as I could.

I was so focused on staying on his back that I didn't notice Colby had stood up again until he was pulling me off of the guy with one arm and shooting him in the head with the other hand.

I gasped at the sound, feeling my heart start to race.

It has been so long since I have heard a gun go off.

Honestly, the last time I heard a gun going off I was the one getting hit by the bullet.

I started gasping for air, feeling my chest tighten and my vision blur.

I watched as the blood poured out of the recently dead man's skull.

My eyes darted to Colby's face. He was still holding me around the waist with one arm as he stared at the guy with a cold look on his face.

I gasped for air, feeling like I was going to pass out. This motion caused Colby to look at me.

"Come on. We don't have time." He said and set me on my feet.

I shook my head as he pulled a knife out of his pocket, cutting my hands free and taking the cloth out of my mouth.

As soon as I was free I hugged him, trying to calm my racing heart.

"We have to go." Colby said and pulled away before leaning down, bringing something to Jeremy's nose.

As soon as he did that, Jeremy bolted up, his eyes wide.

"Get up. We have to go." He said and turned to go up the stairs.

I looked at the dead body, feeling my heart continue to race.

"Come. On." Colby said and grabbed my arm, pulling me. "Just give me a minute!" I snapped, bringing my hand to my chest.

"We don't have a minute. Cry in the car." He said then dragged me up the stairs.

When we got to the top, Jeremy helped me get to ground level.

"Good to see you again." He said as I nodded slowly.

It didn't feel good to see him because when I saw him it meant I was back in the crime world.

That was the last place I wanted to be right now.

When we got to the car we all got in and Colby sped away.

"Where are we going?" I asked, trying to keep myself together since the panic attack was still brewing inside of me.

I was trying to hold it off because I was still trying to comprehend what was happening.

"Far away from here." Colby mumbled, looking in the rear view mirror. "Okay." I whispered, not wanting to argue.

My heart was racing, my body was shaking, and my brain was foggy.

It felt like I was in a never ending cycle of bullshit.
