Chapter 1774 The Void Gate
Tang Shaoyang was glad that the snow elves were not rejecting the idea of doing fusion with his spirits. He just needed to make sure that they did not fusion with the Void Creatures or Calamities. In his last attempt, he saw Commander Edson and Captain Barome approaching the house. Not wanting them to see what he did, he canceled the fusion quickly.
"That's for now. We will do it again once we get to our post!"
He turned and came out of the house to meet with Commander Edson. He did not mind having a spar with Commander Edson if they refused to put him in post zero.
"I have heard your request, and I will grant your request with one condition!" Edson was direct with his words.
"What's the condition?" Tang Shaoyang asked.
"You will be under my command until I am certain that your team is not a liability for the post zero!"
"Alright, let's do that." Tang Shaoyang agreed with the condition. It was a reasonable condition, and he understood that they still doubted him and his team. He just needed to convince Edson to gain more freedom in this place.
"Follow me. We will leave shortly." Edson was satisfied with the result. He expected the young man to refuse to be in his command, but it went smoothly. This young man administrator was kinda different than most administrators he met. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
"I see." He nodded and did not pursue it further.
The train departed not long after, and the train was faster than the one he rode from the Arnoit City. The journey was less than three minutes, and Tang Shaoyang finally got to see the infamous Void Gate.
The Void Gate was more like a torn space that connected to the Void Realm, not really a gate. The torn space was fifty meters wide, and one hundred meters high. The train was stopped exactly five hundred meters from the Void Gate, the post zero.
The door opened, and he sensed a gaze on him. Edson had his eyes on Tang Shaoyang but still did not believe that he would be fine in this contaminated area. He ignored the gaze and stepped out of the train. A frown formed on his forehead, not because the area was contaminated. It was more like an unpleasant smell.
Tang Shaoyang turned around and looked toward Commander Edson, "Do you mind if I get rid of the Void Energy in this post?"
The so-called void poison was the residual of the void energy from the Void Creature or the void energy that leaked through the Void Gate. He could get rid of the lingering void energy with his Absolute Chaos Domain and made sure the area was safe from further contamination.
For the first time, Commander Edson made a surprised expression. Of course, he knew there was a way to cleanse the area from the poison, but it was not worth the effort because it did not take a week for the area to be contaminated again. Instead of wasting their energy and effort on something like that, they decided to wear the mask instead.
"There's no need to waste your energy. The area will be contaminated in less than a week. It's not worth it." Edson shook his head even though he would like to breathe without the stuffy mask.
"There's no need to worry about that. This area will never be contaminated again."
