Ophelia felt it complicated. She couldnât figure out the reason for Zachariahâs change. Was it because she was in his heart and he didnât want to miss her? Or, was it because he simply detained her as his pet by his side?
âMr. Chambers, you donât allow me to go to S City. Is it because you miss me?â Ophelia asked tentatively.
âDonât think too much of it. Just promise me you wonât go to S City.â Zachariah said equivocally.
Ophelia sighed in her heart.
âMr. Chambers, Iâm a bit tired. Letâs continue our discussion tomorrow.â
Zachariah surrounded his arms around Ophelia again. His low voice implied a seductive tone, âPromise me not to go to S City, OK?â
Ophelia almost fell in the trap and nodded her head to agree to his request.
However, the last shred of sanity dragged her back. She pulled down his head and moved up to kiss him.
After a kiss, she seductively looked at Zachariah and said, âMr. Chambers, itâs late at night. Letâs go to bed together.â
With just one look, Zachariahâs entire body was turned on. Only did he take a deep breath could he barely restrain his desire.
He gently patted her buttocks and said in a hoarse voice, âYou must have been a siren in your previous life. Youâre so sultry that youâve almost drained me.â
âMr. Chambers, are you praising me for having an attractive shape?â Ophelia smiled with a flirtatious look.
Subconsciously huffing backwards, Zachariah secretly thought, âthis woman was such a siren that her gestures can entice men totally. If he were not well self-disciplined, he couldnât even recognize his own mother.â
He said he loved Cora, but never showed such an impulse towards Cora. He had got to explain for himself that Cora was pure and he didnât want to tarnish her purity before the marriage so as not to destroy her air of a fairy.
But he didnât realize that if he really loved Cora, why couldnât he grow such a strong sensual feeling towards her? Even when they were madly in love, he remained a gentleman. However, he was not a gentleman at all, but a demon regardless all sorts of manners.
âSpeak properly or Iâll make sure you wonât get out of bed tonight.â Zachariah warned her.
Ophelia, however, deliberately straightened her chest and seductively said, âMr. Chambers, you accompanied me on my birthday so that my heart and soul all belong to you. Feel free to fiddle with me. There wonât be such good benefits after tonight.â
Zachariahâs eyes darkened, as if he wanted to eat Ophelia alive.
He coughed, using his right hand to caress Opheliaâs waist as if by magic, and said, âIâll make out with you right away as long as you behave well and promise not to go to S City.â
Ophelia surrounded his neck and said with her charming eyes, âMr. Chambers, you didnât use to be a fussy person. Now you keep dillydallying, is it because you become impotent?â
âWoman, donât play with fire or itâs not something you can handle.â
Ophelia giggled. At night, she became a hot siren wandering about the earth. Her beauty seemed to reveal an aggression. She was too gorgeous to look at. Those men who were not elite enough could only be ashamed of themselves in front of her.
Zachariahâs eyes changed, and his throat rolled up and down uncontrollably.
He consciously tried to undo her suit, revealing her flawlessly white body, and his eyes instantly were glued on her well-developed and voluptuous breasts, while his throat were rolling even harder.
Ophelia said, âMr. Chambers, am I gorgeous?â
Zachariah snapped back into sense for a moment and helped Ophelia put her clothes back on again while Ophelia gazed in surprise.
Ophelia subconsciously blurted out, âMr. Chambers, youâre really impotent, arenât you?â
Zachariah gave her a look and said, âYouâll see whether Iâm impotent or not later. Now letâs try to settle up.â
âWhat to settle?â Ophelia was a little confused.
âYou know it, donât you?â
Ophelia got off his body and got serious as well, saying, âSince Mr. Chambers said thereâs something to settle, then letâs get started. Iâll listen to it.â
âDonât go to S City, which is my bottom line. I can increase your allowance if youâre short of money.â
Zachariah made his request earnestly.

âOf course not. I donât mean to meddle in your work, but itâs also written in the contract that the employer has the right to make reasonable demands on behalf of the employee, and I think it would be considered reasonable to ask you to stay.â
Ophelia looked at him uncertainly and frowned, âMr. Chambers, give me a reason, or Iâll insist on going to S City.â
âJust for the sake of Tassach? How much money did he pay you to be so loyal to him?â
âMr. Chambers, he is just one of my ordinary friends. If you still want to have an effective conversation, Iâll carry on, or Iâll go to bed.â Ophelia stood up and said.
âSit down.â
Ophelia sat down again, saying, âMr. Chambers, you want to speak properly now?â
Zachariah glimpsed at her.
âTell me, why do you want to go to S City?â
âMr. Chambers, this is the companyâs arrangement. If you donât believe me, you can ask someone to check it out. I cherish this job so much. When I was in college, I majored in design. Every time I drew a picture, I felt a sense of accomplishment, so I donât want to lose this job.â
âSince you like designing, I can arrange for you to come to Chambers Group. I believe that you will achieve your potential on the basis of the platform of Chambers Group.â
Ophelia fell silent.
âWhatâs the matter? It seems that such a big company as Chambers Group is unable to attract you?â Zachariah said with a somewhat mocking tone.
