However, Jeremiah was a little unhappy. He sat next to Cassandra and asked in a reproachful tone, “Why the hell are you here?

Cassandra glanced at Jeremiah and asked, “You guys can go. Why can’t I?”

“We are soldiers. It’s our duty to protect civilians. What are you doing there?” Jeremiah said, taking it for granted.
