Anna placed the dishes down, squatted, and asked Matthew, âYou want me to stay with you, right?â
Matthew nodded shyly. âOkay, Iâll stay.â Anna smiled and Matthewâs eyes immediately lit up.
âBut we canât sit on the floor. Shall we sit on the sofa?â Anna asked and Matthew quickly nodded.
Anna smiled and brought him to the sofa.
Anna started to tell him some jokes and Matthew laughed happily, but he still would not speak Anna asked, âCan you tell me why youâre unhappy? Is it because no one played with you and you feel lonely?â
At this point, Matthew began to gesture and point as if he was signaling to Anna for a pen and paper. Anna looked around and saw a notebook and pen on the table.
She handed them to Matthew. Matthew scribbled, âDaddyâs bad. He promised to play with me but did not.â
Anna was surprised that such a small kid could write so many words. She then realized that his parents must have taught him how to write. However, it looked like the kid could not speak âSo you are trying to say that you are upset because your father didnât play with you?â Matthew firmly nodded and frowned angrily. Anna sighed and patted his head.
âPerhaps your daddy is very busy. Daddy wants to give you a better life and thatâs why he doesnât have time to play with you.â
Matthew did not accept this. He huffed and puffed angrily and wrote, âI did not see daddy for days. I hate him.â
Anna frowned and was shocked that his father left him in the hotel for days.
âIâll speak to your father when he gets back.â Anna held Matthewâs hand and fumed, âHow could he leave a kid alone at the hotel?â
Matthew nodded in agreement. âWere you alone in this room all these days?â Anna asked. Matthew nodded. Anna asked, âShall I take you out for a walk and get some fresh air?â Matthew nodded happily All kids love to play. Although the VIP suite was huge, even an adult could not stand being cooped up for days, not to mention a kid. Therefore, Anna decided to take him out for a stroll âOh, whatâs your name by the way?â Anna asked as they were leaving. But then she remembered that the boy could not speak. She then rushed back to the bedroom to retrieve the notebook and pen, leaving him alone in the sitting room.
Only two staff maids and Vivian remained there. Suddenly, there was a âclunkâ and someone yelled, âThe chandelier!â
Anna just came out of the bedroom and saw a chandelier above Matthew began to swing violently and was about to fall off.
âAh!â They screamed when the chandelier fell off the ceiling.
