Tammy and Isabella were shopping in a downtown mall. Isabella had dreadlocks on her head, and she wore baggy pants and a tight red top. Tammy was dressed in a puffy pink dress, ballerina shoes, and colorful hairpins. She was only eleven years old, and she was alittle shorter than Isabella. Yet, she was already a pretty little girl The two walked through the mall, drawing a lot of attention. Isabella led Tammy into a store and handed her a studded leather skirt, saying, âThis storeâs design is fantastic! Why donât you give it a shot?â
Tammy rolled her eyes and pointed to the shiny studs on it, saying, âThis dress does not suit me; it is not my style! Why are there so many studs? Itâs not 2003, for Godâs sake!â
âCome on, you canât stay the same forever! You should try new things. Tammy, do you enjoy dressing up as a colorful birthday cake all your life?â
Tammy blinked, âTry more new things? Then, why donât you change your style?â
âWhat do you want to do?â
âIll choose an outfit for you, and youâll choose one for me.â
Isabella examined Anna from head to toe and appeared hesitant. âAll these clothes are for little girls, Iâm not wearing them,â she explained.
Tammy elaborated, âBecause you dislike my taste, you should understand that | dislike yours as well. So, why donât we switch out styles today?â
sabella thought for a moment and said, âNot a bad idea. Letâs try 391 Wayne, What Are You Doing?! something new!â
âI didnât mean to force you to do that,â Tammy said, frowning. Isabella, on the other hand, had already made up her mind. She then went around the store, looking for clothes for Tammy.
Isabella loved to dress like rock stars and preferred to dress in dark colors. As for Tammy, she preferred sweet and cute clothing and only wore pink. They both looked strange after switching styles.
Ten minutes later, Isabella stood in front of the mirror and surveyed herself. She was wearing a beige dress and pink satin ballerina shoes.
A few guides around her discussed, âIs it me, or is sheâs little weird in that dress?â
âShe does.â
Meanwhile, Tammy stared wide-eyed and pretended she didnât know Isabella.
Isabella was wearing a lot of makeup and had a lot of dreadlocks on her head. She didnât look right in the beige dress. Still, the shopper complimented her, saying, âYoung lady, you look stunning! This dress looks unique on you, and you make it even more beautiful!â
Isabella scratched her head, feeling flattered. She said, âWell, if you say so, then Iâll buy it.â
As Tammy looked at the price and widened her eyes in surprise, she realized that the guide had complimented Isabella in this way to sell this expensive dress.
Then Isabella tugged Tammyâs arm and said, âIâm done shopping! Now, itâs my turn to buy you a new dress. Donât try to run away. I will make you feel what itâs like to be the cool girl today.â
Tammy was about to complain when she heard a girl in front of her 391 Wayne, What Are You Doing?! say, âHey! Itâs you!â
Isabella and Tammy both looked up, but neither recognized this girl. It was a young girl around Isabellaâs age. She wore a white T-shirt, denim shorts, and a black backpack. She wore her hair in a ponytail, which made her look very energetic.
Surprised, she looked at Isabella and said, âItâs me! Donât you remember me? You saved me at the airport yesterday!â Isabella said, âOh, itâs you! | remember you.â
âI went to the airport security office yesterday to look for you after | found my driver. However, they said that you had left. I wanted to thank you and look for you, but | didnât expect to see you here today. By the way, my name is Natalie Wright,â the girl said, smiling and extending her right hand.
âIsabella Thomas.â
Natalie smiled and looked at the little girl next to Isabella, âIs this your sister? Wait... Are you... Are you Tammy?!â Tammy was stunned when she saw Natalie and even more surprised when she heard them introduce themselves. Natalie, on the other hand, was the first to recognize her.
Bewildered, Isabella asked, âHuh? You two know each other?â
âWe donât just know each other, sheâs also my Grandaunt,â Tammy said awkwardly.
âWhat?!â Isabella widened her eyes in surprise, thinking that she had heard it wrong.
For dinner, the three girls went to a nearby Japanese restaurant. Isabella listened to the two of them talk, confused about what was happening. 391 Wayne, What Are You Doing?!
âHas Anna been back for a while?â Natalie asked.
âWe didnât stay long, and we still have to return to America once Iâm better. So, please donât tell your family you saw me today.â
Isabella was confused and asked, âSo, Natalie is your Grandaunt?â
Tammy explained, âNatalie is my great grandfatherâs adopted daughter, and my daddyâs aunt. So, sheâs my Grandaunt.â
Natalie nodded, âIsabella, Iâm your Grandaunt as well. Weâre a family. | didnât expect to see you at the airport.â
Isabella laughed awkwardly and said, âIâve never even met Tammyâs father. To be honest, Anna never brought him up. And donât have that many relatives.â
Isabellaâs demeanor was a little hostile. Natalie kept her cool and didnât say anything. She said, âI havenât seen you and Anna in years. Tammy, where do you live now?â
Tammy was about to say something when Isabella put a piece of sushi in her mouth and said, âWe donât live far from here. Weâll invite you over our place later.â
Natalie smiled and nodded, âOka Isabella remembered Natalie running the airport shortly after the incident. So, Isabella thought Natalie was very clever and cunning, and she just used the catch-up to get information from Tammy. Tammy was a little girl who missed her dad, so she was willing to say anything to her.
Later on, Isabella realized what Natalie was trying to do. So, she planned to tell Anna about it when she got home.
At the same time, Anna had spent the entire night working in the emergency department. She received a message that a patient was arriving when it was time for her to change shifts. A short time later, a 391 Wayne, What Are You Doing?! knock came on the door outside.
âCome in,â Anna yawned, trying to wake herself up. And when she looked up, she froze completely. It was Wayne. He was dressed in a navy suit and was as oppressive as ever. However, Wayne wasnât surprised to see Anna as if heâd come here specifically for her. Having shut the door, he sat across from her at her desk.
âItâs been a while.â His voice was huskier than it had been five years before and sounded a little sexier.
Annaâs heart was racing, and she tried hard to calm down. She browsed the information on her computer screen and asked, âNoel Lesley? Are you Noel Lesley?â
Wayne explained, âNoel is Gabeâs cousin, and heâs the one who finished the register.â âI apologize, sir. The hospital is attempting to boycott scalpers, so patients must use their real names when registerin âI can re-register right now, and it wonât take long. At this point, the emergency department has more doctors than patients. Are you sure you want me to waste my time here?â
âIâm not trying to waste your time; Iâm just going through the process.â
âOr are you just trying to run away while | go register.â
Wayne guessed it right. Anna frowned at him for a moment before opening her chart book and asking, âOkay. Go ahead. Whatâs the matter with you?â
Wayne stood up, his tall figure blocking the light. Anna blushed as she noticed him begin to undress himself. She asked in a fluster, âWhat are you doing?!â 391 Wayne, What Are You Doing?!
Ignoring her, Wayne sat on the chair and threw his suit on the floor. He then gradually unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his toned chest.
Annaâs face flushed even more. She stood up and said anxiously, âStop it! Iâm going to call security! Iâm telling you, the security office is not far from the emergency room, and they can hear me when | yell.â
âWhat do you want to call security for?â Wayne asked, stretching his injured arm out in front of Anna. He removed one sleeve of his black shirt, revealing his left shoulder and a bandaged arm.
