Scott said his thoughts plainly. He appeared much more relaxed than Anna because he was frequently on camera. He was able to completely ignore the cameras that were all around him.
However, Anna was unsure whether this was his genuine thought or if he was acting. In fact, there had been a lot of gossip about Scott. He was a celebrity and a public figure who had been famous for the past five years. Many actresses had expressed interest in being his fake girlfriend to gain attention, and he had never turned anyone down.
Many of his fans questioned his attitude because it was so different from when he first started out. Only Anna knew that he was doing it just to hide his panic. Anna could tell he was worried about the public finding out he was dating Randal.
âYou can stay unmarried, itâs not a big deal,â she reassured.
âMarriage is just a formality. If you truly love someone, it makes no difference whether you marry or not.â Isabella said.
Anna and Scott both froze and looked at Isabella in amazement. Scott had no idea what had happened to Isabella recently, but Anna knew all about it. Sheâd recently been suffering from a headache, and it bothered her again when she heard the words.
Anna had been thinking about Isabellaâs words and had no desire to make any more small talk. So, their conversation came to an abrupt halt.
Isabella appeared to be aware that Anna was upset. So. as soon as she finished eating, she went inside her room to play video games and paid no 424 | Donât Want to Get Married attention to the show in the living room.
The shooting went on and on. The staff hid inside the tent in the comer without making any noise to create a relatively relaxed environment. Anna took that opportunity to clean the house and do the dishes, and she occasionally said a few words to Scott for the show. She eventually forgot about the cameras and acted at ease.
To everyoneâs surprise, Randal showed up uninvited when it was time for dinner. When the doorbell rang, Anna was in the kitchen preparing for dinner. No one answered the door, and that made her feel annoyed Annaâs hands were covered in blood after killing a fish. âGet the door!â she yelled to them at the living room. Scott and Tammy were busy with games and didnât appear to hear her.
âOnly the person who opens the door will get to eat the shrimp | made tonight.â
Then, Scott and Tammy both dropped their gamepads on the carpet at the same time and dashed towards the door. Scott sprinted ahead of Tammy and opened the door. However, his expression changed when he saw the person at the door. His cheerful smile had faded into embarrassment.
Randal stood in the doorway wearing a black couture suit. He was almost as tall as the door frame, making him look oppressive.
âWhat brings you here?â Scott asked, his voice trembling â| just heard from your agent that this episode is being filmed here, so | came to help you,â Randal said thoughtfully.
Scott swallowed and said, âYou donât have to worry about me. Everythingâs fine here. You can go home now, and Iâll catch up with you after | finish the show.â
With that, he pushed Randal toward the door. 424 | Donât Want to Get Married The two hadnât seen each other since their big fight half a month ago. Scott deliberately didnât tell Randal when the show would begin filming, nor did he allow his agent to tell him.
âWhoâs there?â When Anna came out, she noticed Scott and Randal shoving each other.
Randal took a step back in surprise as he saw that blood dripped from her hands onto the floor as Anna walked. He quickly returned to normal. ââAnna, itâs been a long time,â he said.
Anna said, âIts, indeed. Randal, please come in. Why donât you have dinner with us?â
Scott didnât want Anna to worry about things between himself and Randal. Even if he didnât want Randal to stay, he had no idea how to say no. So, he had no choice but to let him in.
âIâl get you some tea.â Anna then went to wash her hands in the kitchen.
Tammy and Randal didnât know much about each other. She didnât know what to say, so she asked the game. Scott was not in the mood, so he said, âWeâll have a game later, dear. You can watch some cartoons now.â
âI donât want to watch cartoons! Theyâre for kids!â Tammy said.
Randal sat behind them on the couch and asked, âWhat kind of game are you playing? Iâl play it with you.â
Hearing that, Scott looked at him in surprise.
âDo you know how to play games?â Tammy asked, puzzled, as she examined Randal.
Randal took up a gamepad and said, âSure! Why donât we give it a shot? Ill buy you chocolates if | lose.â 424 | Donât Want to Get Married âReally?â Tammyâs eyes brightened, and she reached for her gamepad.
Scott knew Randal the best, and he was well aware that he was a person who would never accept defeat. Even if he played a game with a child, he would never intentionally let someone win. He was a businessman, and this had always been his guiding principle.
Thinking of this, Scott immediately said, âWait a second! Randal, youâve only mentioned what youâll do if you lose, but you havenât mentioned what Tammy will do if she loses.â
Randal raised his head and smiled at him. He paused for a moment before saying to Tammy, âIf you lose, could you lend me Scott for ten minutes? A box of chocolates in exchange for ten minutes alone with him isnât such a bad deal, is it?â
Scott laughed and was very sure of himself. He knew Tammy was one of his biggest fans, so he assumed she would never agree to such a condition. Even if Randal gave Tammy a trunk of chocolates, he knew she wouldnât give him up. So he confidently scoffed, âHa! Sheâd never do something like that...â
Much to his surprise, Tammy interrupted him and said loudly, âNo problem!
