Chapter 7 Divorce, Mommy Anna was amused and chuckled, âWhy did you say that?â
âBecause I donât think that daddy loves mommy.â Tammy continued, âOther daddies kiss their children every day but my daddy visits us only once or twice a year Each time, he just says a few words and then leaves. He doesnât even hug you. He doesnât love me. I donât want this daddy anymore.â
Annaâs heart sank.
She did not dare to tell Tammy the truth for fear that it would come as a terrible blow to her. So, Anna asked someone to help her out and pretend to be Tammyâs father.
She did not expect Tammy to be so intelligent and considerate.
Tammy continued, âMommy, donât think that Iâll be upset by a divorce. Why donât you look for another man? As long as he loves me, Iâll also be able to accept him! If he has children, Iâll get along with them.â
âSilly girl.â Annaâs eyes turned red on hearing that, âMommy doesnât need anyone other than you.â
âBut I want a brother.â Tammy smiled, âI want mommy and daddy to pamper me and an elder brother to take care of me.â
Anna patted her head and remained silent. She thought of her son who was taken away from her and wondered how he was doing. She wished that she could see her son one day and hug him.
When Tammy saw Anna being sad, she swore in her heart that she would look for a considerate and caring man for her mother.
That night, Anna received an eâmail from the HR department of the Carousel Group which informed her to start working at Hotel Carousel the next Monday.
She was tidying up the apartment when she saw Tammy busy playing with the iPad. âWhat are you playing, honey?â Tammy quickly hugged the iPad, âIâm not telling you.â âOkay, fine. I wonât look at it.â Tammy continued to fill in the information after Anna walked away. It turned out that Tammy was registering Anna on a dating website.
She was satisfied with some of the men she saw on the website. However, she really liked the man she met at the airport. He was definitely suitable for her mother.
But she could not find him on this website.
As for Anna, she had completely no idea that her smart kid was seeking a new husband for her....
The day that Anna reported to work was the tenth anniversary of Hotel Carousel, which was why she was very busy throughout the day.

Clenching her fists, she managed to control her temper and smile, âItâs been a long time.â
Harry looked at Anna and wanted to say something, but eventually, he did not utter a single word.
