“How dare you! How dare you offend us!” The man with the taser glared fiercely and smacked the scar-faced man’s cheek. “How much were you going to extort from him?”

The scar-faced man endured the humiliation and turned his face away. He said angrily, “What does it have to do with you?”

“Hey, you guys borrowed my place and still dare to be so arrogant?” A few hooligans tied the four kidnappers together with ropes and glanced smugly at Shen Yin, who was tied to the chair beside them. “Little girl, tell me, how much money did they extort from your family?”

The noise outside the door was not obvious, but it was exceptionally clear in this office which was so quiet that one could hear a pin drop.

Shen Yin suddenly blinked as if she had sensed something. Her intuition told her that the person who would suddenly appear to save her was Lian Jing.
