He reached for his phone, accessed the calendar, and confirmed that it was indeed July 26th, his birthday.

Clark shook his head. “No, it would have been acceptable if things were as they used to be. However, now that your Twitter has reached 1.500 followers, it’s a significant milestone. Jonathan recognised the accuracy of his assumption, and his expression turned cold in an instant.

He never fathomed that his biological sister, Milly, could be so deceitful.

Once, he hesitated because of their familial bond, even grateful for her help during his injury. But now it appeared that it was all a facade meticulously crafted by her.
