Description: when Charlie escapes his drug dealing father and is sent to live with his grandparents, things aren't suddenly okay. Charlie's broken. He's not sure he ever wasn't broken. Music is the only thing that gives him solace, and his new neighbour Travis happens to be handy with a guitar.

My thoughts: This was such an amazing read! Charlie is such an interesting character, beautifully written and with so much depth- someone you could really connect with. The story was just the right balance of cute, angsty and sad, which made me feel all kinds of emotion. It also raises awareness on the topic of autism in such a thoughtful way. I think this story definitely deserves more recognition!
