James: "I'm sorry."
Seeing his apology, Anna Rivera's anger subsided a little.
She suspected he might have spent a lot of money at the bar that night and was in a bad mood.
She was prepared to forgive his earlier rudeness, but then he sent another message.
"Letting you go, I've realized the beauty of the world. Thank you for helping me grow."
Confused, Anna Rivera sent a questioning message, only to be met with an infuriating exclamation mark in front of her text.
That simp had deleted her.
Anna Rivera was seething.
She, too, added James to her blacklist, vowing never to remove him even if he begged on his knees.
Anna Rivera firmly believed that a man like James, without a car or a house, would soon be dumped by his new woman and come crawling back to her.
And when that time came, if he didn't buy her an iPhone, she, Anna Rivera, would never forgive that simp.
...
James rose from the lounge chair on the balcony, glancing at the time.
It was almost 2 AM.
Remembering he had to buy Tailsa a car the next day, he hurried back inside to sleep.
He carefully set his phone to silent and cautiously lay down beside Tailsa, careful not to disturb the sleeping beauty.
However, Tailsa still woke up.
Half-asleep, she felt someone near and barely opened her eyes. Recognizing the man from her dreams who was going to buy her a sports car, she wrapped herself around him like an octopus.
Nuzzling his face with her nose, she caught a faint scent of tobacco and mumbled, "Smoke less, it's bad for you."
Admittedly, her unconscious concern was more potent than any words.
James softly agreed, and looking at her adorable face, his mind wandered.
The moonlight streamed through the glass, gently illuminating her profile, adding a dreamy quality to her already stunning features, like a fairy descended from heaven.
Unable to resist, James kissed her cheek, earning a soft whimper in her sleep.
He lay down peacefully and drifted into a deep slumber.
No further events transpired that night.
...
The next morning, Tailsa woke up very early.
Seeing it was still early, she tried to go back to sleep but couldn't, her mind consumed by thoughts of the Porsche 911.
Finally, at eight o'clock, she used the ends of her hair to tickle James awake, but to little effect.
Pushing him also yielded no response.
The man slept like a log, completely unresponsive.
Tailsa was hesitant to wake him too abruptly, fearing he might have a bad temper in the morning, ruining their plans for the day.
She sought a gentle way to rouse him.
Suddenly, a thought struck her, and a blush crept across her face.
...
James felt someone calling him, stirring him from his dream.
He'd had a strenuous workout session the night before and didn't want to get up so early.
But Tailsa seemed a bit anxious, insisting he get up.
After a few minutes, she went to wash her face and brush her teeth.
James lay in bed like a meditating monk, completely still.
...
Feeling refreshed, they got dressed.
Tailsa wore a black tube top dress today.
The black color made her skin look fair and cool-toned, the neckline was cut generously, revealing her alluring collarbone.
The dress was adorned with lace trimmings, and the fitted waist accentuated her figure perfectly.
The side slit was cut high, offering glimpses of her smooth legs as she walked.
Paired with stylish high heels, she exuded a sophisticated aura.
This outfit was also purchased the day before.
The more James looked, the more beautiful he found her. "This outfit is stunning, you look like those rich young ladies on TV."
"Of course, I have to dress the part for going to a car dealership," Tailsa preened in front of the full-length mirror.
"No need to be so formal, it's just buying a car, no big deal," James said, wrapping his arms around her waist. His smart shirt and trousers in the mirror made them look like the perfect couple.
Tailsa took his casual tone about buying a multi-million dollar car in stride, not seeing it as boasting.
The sight of $400,000 to $500,000 from the night before was proof enough.
She naturally helped him adjust his collar, "I know, I'll just put on some makeup, and then I'll be ready, very quickly."
Knowing Tailsa's idea of "quickly" meant at least half an hour, James promptly took out his phone and started playing a game of "Honor of Kings".
True enough, he'd lost two rounds of the game before Tailsa was done.
But to be fair, Tailsa looked absolutely radiant after applying her makeup.
Her light bangs were slightly curled, subtly revealing her pretty eyebrows and eyes.
She exuded both a fresh, girl-next-door charm and a seductive allure.
Her pink lips were slightly pursed, stirring the heart.
Seeing Tailsa's radiant appearance, James had no complaints.
With everything ready, they left the room and took the elevator down.
As they reached the lobby, the female butler approached them to handle the check-out and, still attentive, asked if they needed a car.
James nodded.
She immediately arranged for a Mercedes-Benz business van.
Upon hearing their destination was the Porsche dealership, the butler's eyes lit up.
She had wondered why they hadn't driven their own car to the hotel.
It turned out their car was at the dealership, likely for maintenance or repair.
It was important to maintain good relations with such wealthy clients.
The butler quickly went to the counter, took out her business card, and handed it to James, saying she was at his service for any future needs.
James, satisfied with her service, added her on WhatsApp.
They arrived at the Porsche dealership by car.
As soon as they got out, a beautiful saleswoman greeted them, her service exceptionally warm, smiling as if they were her long-lost relatives.
"Sir, madam, are you here for a test drive or to look at cars?"
James glanced at herâquite pretty, well-figured, and expertly made up. She was tall, wearing high heels that made her almost his height.
With over 40 million in his system, he boldly replied, "Just looking."
The saleswoman smiled, "Alright, do you have an appointment?"
James was puzzled, "Do we need an appointment just to look?"
The saleswoman quickly waved her hands, "No, no, I meant if you didn't have a designated salesperson, would you like me to assist you?"
So that's what it was.
James had thought these luxury car dealerships were so arrogant that they required appointments just to buy a car.
He scanned the salesperson's information with the system.
Name: Perla
Age: 26
Charm: 81
Relationships: 7
Not bad, pretty standard.
For a Porsche salesperson to have such self-respect, she probably wasn't the type to mess around.
"Sure, it's you then. Take us to see the 911," James said casually.
"Okay, please follow me," Perla smiled, gesturing for them to follow.
A person's confidence often shows in their speech.
The handsome man before her spoke with a calm assurance, and his companion was both beautiful and elegant. Such a pair were very likely to make a purchase.
Perla couldn't help but smile even more warmly.
As a luxury car salesperson, she might appear glamorous, but the reality was far from it.
Their manager was particularly awful.
Every salesperson had to pay a daily "motivation fee" of $100.
Whoever made a sale got to keep all the collected fees.
It was essentially "paid work."
She hadn't made a single sale this week.
Thus, she was especially attentive to James.
