Days passed and one night, Seren was reading a magazine. Looking through pages she came across many picture offers. She could recall the photoshoots she had for them.

It was simply the best.

However,when the bittersweet memory flooded inside her brain,she couldn’t help but feel the sourness in her mouth.

Sensing that she can’t go out and be in the limelight, at least for some time, renamed her mood and tucked with her emotions.

“Let it be, Seren..” She boasted herel. “At least you’re getting to give birth to Lucas’s first child, his grandfather will at least acknowledge the child.” and she will ultimately be the mother of the child.

Even though she knows that she will be outcast after she gives birth, it doesn’t matter to her anymore. At the end of the day,she knew how to mend her ways.

Currently, there was the knock on her door. The knock made me slightly confused, ‘Who can be there at this late?’ She wasn’t sure herself, but still said, “Come in...”

The door opened with the slow breeze, and then, her gaze fell on the person who showed up this late, “Lu-Lucas...”

Lucas didn’t mutter anything. But simply locked the door behind him. He was all silent and this suddenly made Seren’s heart to jam.

The excitement level of seeing him after so long was in the cloud moon. No one could express the sentiments that flooded inside her brain like a giant party for her. “I can’t believe..you are here..”

Luca was wearing rugged jeans, with a black color shirt and an overcoat above that. His hair was perfectly made and styled perfectly.

But his eyes were holding the warmness which Seren rarely witnessed for herself.

She got up from the bed to run in directions. Without thinking twice, she hugged his neck like a small baby. “I can’t believe....you are here...Lucas...I knew you would come here!”

“I-I knew that you will understand that..what I’m doing..isn’t wrong...” Lucas heard Seren’s words with a soft smile on his face. He brought his other hand to caress her hair softly from her back, “You are overthinking. I just needed some time to adjust.”

“I understand. I understand everything. All I wanted was to be you by my side and this child...” Seren broke the embrace to roam her hand around her tummy, which was getting enlarged with time, “...I want this child to get the love of both of his parents..”

Lucas’s gaze too traveled down to see the tummy. He brought his hands and kept it softly. Pressing it a bit,he felt the movement inside her womb, and this traced a beautiful smile on his lips, “I can’t believe that....there is a mini lie in us, Seren.”

“Which belongs to both of us.” Seren completed the sentence and Lucas nodded his head.

In return, Seren once again hugged his neck without the time waste, as a beautiful smile flashed on her lips. She was content with her life. Lucas Is back..he was with her in the room.

And this was the first time that he had even interacted with her since she came to live under this roof. He was too distant to approach, so Serene could wait. Until now,she found her patience to be fruitful....but only if this was the dream.

In return, Lucas hugged her. He kept his head in the pouch of her neck, with the smile which was slowly reaching up to his ears. The eyes were turning into a small curve, but then, he looked above his eyes.

“Lucas, we will never be alone anymore. We will live together for the rest of our lives..” Seren boosted as her grip tightened around Lucas’s body.

She felt herself living in the dream now.

But the sudden change in Lucas’s expression were all foriegn to Seren; he still kept his head in the pouch of her neck, with the mindful ideas flashing through his brian.

There were traces of unkind human beings flashing inside his soul throughout. “Sure..Seren..I...will fulfill your every wish. You wanted to be at the top of the world, I will fulfill your wish to be at the top of the world and everybody...very..soon...”

The next morning.

Lucas was sleeping in the room, as the two pillows are there in between his legs. He was all in sleepy mode, even the curtain flew and the small light flashing out from the windows.

But on top of that, there was all the peace before the storm arrived in the area.

Suddenly, he heard some voices. But his sleep was too overlooked to even care, since he once again slept back at one place. However his dreams and head was disturbed again, when he felt someone shaking him awake.

“LUCAS! LUCAS! GET UP!”

The words startled Lucas, who suddenly reopened his eyes wide evident shock. His half opened eyes came across to see a small frown on his mother’s forehead. But when his sight saw Amara, his body was replaced again.

He stretched his legs and arms, yawned, to speak, “Mother...can I sleep more?”

“You can’t. Lucas! Get Up immediately!” sensing the urgency in Amara’s voice, made Lucas slightly worried. But he still didn’t get up, to ask for the worry itself, “What’s wrong with you? Why so pumped up to wake me up?”

At better view, Lucas noted that his mother’s face was pale. It was filled with sweat and a very deep frown on her forehead. She was trembling badly, which stammered her words.

“Mother tell me, straightaway. What is wrong?”

“L-Lucas, S-Seren is dead!”

The reason I didn’t wrote was because I was going through some phases. Concentration was low and I had no feelings to write this story because my feelings were numb. Ruining this master piece of mine would have killed me so I took a small break!
