Charles’s question left Javier to stay silent. He had no intent to reveal what he was thinking as silence worked as a better conveyor to Charles, who understood the meaning behind his words.

“So, indeed it’s her. How can I not feel suspicious of her?” Charles’s speech only radiated his frustration. He was almost on the edge of losing his mind.

“But I think this isn’t all you should know.” Javier said. “You should know more than that. There is much more than what you can actually imagine in your wildest dream. She is related to them and in depth.”

“What worse can happen now?” Charles couldn’t help but ask. However, his other hand went forward to grab the pack of cigarettes and brought one of them out, ready for a smoke. However, Javier was already irritated and he instantly snatched it from Charles’s hand and threw it on the ground.

“I told you not to smoke! You have children and I have a pregnant wife. Do you wish to make them suffer and be a bad example just like our father?!” Javier’s loud yell left Charles speechless.

Initially, he showed the signs of fury but that got despised into the sea the moment Javier mentioned their children.

Moreover, the mentioning of his father was the trigger point. Charles’s eyes narrowed as he was glaring at Javier with killing intent, “Never compare me with that monster ever.”

“Then don’t act like him and I will not do so.” Javier’s clear cut speech made Charles shut his mouth. He only nodded his head so that Javier could continue to tell him more.

Javier took a deep breath as he stood against the car and didn’t lift his eyes, “She isn’t that simple. Shirley is actually related to the boss of the Phoenix organization. She is someone dear to them.”

“What kind of relationship do they bear?” Charles questioned.

At this point, Javier lifted his eyes to look at his elder brother and all he came across was eagerness. Javier could see himself in Charles’s eyes. He was also delighted to know more about their mother’s killer.

But the moment he learnt about the reason behind her death, it only ruptured his heart into pieces.

“Shirley is actually.. the daughter of the past leader of phoenix and now, half sister of the current head of the organization, Davis. Her father was the one who got mother killed for Shirley’s sake.”

It took a lot of courage for Chalres to accept what he heard. Never in his wildest dream would he imagine that Shirley got such a strong backing for herself.

Charles’s face lost all of its colors. It turned out to be resembling a fine marble and Javier didn’t stop saying, “No one knew about her past but that doesn’t mean no one tried to find out. Seems like she faked her background when she met father.”

“I highly affirm that Shawn must have checked her background when he met her and decided to marry her. But she managed to cover it all with the help of her brother who was by her side.”

At this stage, Chalres was fuming with fire. It didn’t fit in his brian so effortlessly but when it did, it made his veins pop out, “That bitch is really scheming!”

“She is cunning. First of all, she wanted the title of Mrs. Johson which she got despite being the second wife. After getting the title, she got entangled with another man and I’m not surprised to find out that the man involved with her is also a member of her mafia group.”

“So do you mean to say that she is openly having an affair with her group members?” Charles couldn’t help but ask, to which he got a small nod, “She is indeed shameless. Moreover, her brother is aware of that. Now that she feels he isn’t much of use, she wishes to discard him and that is by getting divorced.”

“It is truly stated by Ryan that she hired a lawyer to get divorce and get a hefty sum from father. But now, she has changed her plan. She wishes to transfer all his properties under his name and leave us with none. She wishes to destroy the Johnson family and she can go to any heights to do so.”

Javier’s speech was worth listening to. After knowing the natural truth, Charles’s eyes slimed with narrow glint as his fist was awaiting to be thrown at someone’s face. Imagining Shirley’s face in his mind got him infruited. All he wanted was her head at this point, at any cost!

Yet, Chalres diverted his attention back to Javier’s face, “You have a plan. That’s the reason you’re so calm.”

Javier displayed a half smile which didn’t grace his face, “You know, I will not come without planning and plotting. If I told you that I will give an answer then I didn’t mean simply by analyzing the proofs but also my revenge.”

“I guessed that because of your demour. Since you wish to clear this mess quickly to take over mother’s company, you do need to put an end to everything that is messed up.” Charles expressed his point and Javier never denied about the same.

His silence acted as the proof and it gathered Charles’s interest. He smiled at his brother with the same chilly gaze, “What do you plan to do now? When is the plan supposed to be executed?”

“Today. In fact, tonight. Let’s finish this for once and all, for mother’s revenge.”
