Charles and Ellen returned and found Javier and Ryan alone, especially with their cars not nearby, “Where are the cars?”

Javier didn’t answer immediately. He brought the backpack and threw it at Charles for him to catch it, “We can’t use the cars here. So, this is the best option.”

“What have you found out?” Javier lifted his eyes in the search for answers.

“At the back, there are two more bodyguards. But if I see it correctly, there is one entrance at the corner of the building. Seems like a small tunnel that is intentionally closed. If we reopen it, I think it must be leading inside this...” Charles pointed out at the building behind them and their breathe halted.

For a moment, they had to take a number of things into consideration if they were to take this risk. He turned around to look at the building amidst the night clouds and moonlight. He could see the lights switched on in one of the rooms. They could easily see the figures behind the windows and their shadows.

Without any doubt, his eyes turned colder and his fingers curled into a fist, “Let’s take this risk.”

Javier and Ryan reached the closed tunnel. Their hands held the small torch and saw how the mud piled up against the opening, “They were right, this intentional ...” Ryan muttered.

He bent down on his knees to touch the sand and feel its nature. “We can remove it since it’s still wet. Probably due to the rainy season.”

“Alright.” Javier didn’t say much and the team started to remove the mud from the palace. They had to shift the large pieces of rocks in the middle and shifting them was not such an easy task.

The mud was removed to the side and the giant particles of the bricks and rock were put on one side. After a few minutes of hard work, they looked at the space and then at each other, “This....”

“A pure tunnel.” Javier mumbled under his breath. He took his torch to light it under the tunnel and all they saw was no end, accompanied with darkness.

“We have to go inside, Javier.” Hearing this, Javier looked at the determination in Ryan’s eyes and it held enough courage to take the tssk, “If we need to destroy them, we need to begin the task. Moving inside will be beneficial.”

“Don’t overthink. You also want to go back to your Jennifer before the sun in the sky. Just do it.” Ryan’s motivating words caused something to stir in Javier’s cold blooded heart. Ryans’s eyes were dazzling and it took no chance to miss this adventure.

At last, Javier agreed and finally sped inside the tunnel. They had to crawl under it since the space was minimal. They used their torche to give them a path while holding the guns in one hand.

Finally, the tunnel opened in the long base ground with an infinite smell, “This...looks like some kind of sewerage system..”

“Go in it, Javier!”

The tunnel led them into the basement where they could easily stand and walk. In their mind, it didn’t occur to them that such a long tunnel would not make them enter on any floor but under the electric system and water base. As they speed inside, their eyes revolved around themselves.

“Instead of wasting time here, we should go and walk out. Probably they are going to the upper floors.” Javier told and Ryan agreed.

They started to walk with utmost care in their actions. Their eyes surveyed through each place as they were bent on not making mistakes. Their enemy could come and shoot at them from either side.

While pacing, their eyes caught the staircase which was leading upwards, “Careful, at the end of this staircase, there must be bodyguards!”

“Don’t worry,we will tackle them.” Ryan didn’t shake and Javier proceeded.

The team was giving each other the required cover and very soon, they arrived at the main floor. Instead of immediately exiting the stairs, they slightly parted the door to look at the outside world.

From the mini space, Javier’s eyeball turned in all directions before mumbling, “there is a guard just outside. You know what to do when I open this.”

Ryan nodded vigorously.

Both of them had covered their faces with the masks with their eyes naked. Javier held the gun in one hand and opened the door from inside, where Ryan used his gun to point it at the back of the guard and shoot without any heistance.

No blood, no scream, no fight. The guard laid down on the floor and Ryan instantly locked him in the staircase before closing the door behind them.

“We are here, Javier..” Ryan said and they started to move in the other direction. They had no idea on which floor they were, but all that mattered was finding the man behind their mother’s death.

At the end of the lobby, there was a guard safeguarding one of the rooms. Javier used his gun to fire from a distance and without a second, the man was lying on the floor.

Getting their guns equipped with silencers was the first role and second to kill their enemy without sound. Each of their steps consisted of high end thinking and after crossing a few floors, they had killed multiple guards.

“What do you think, where is Shirley’s brother and father now?” Ryan couldn’t help but ask, holding his gun in a passionate manner, “We have yet to discover. All I can say is that they all are present here.”

“If that’s the case then...” Ryan bought something out from his pocket, and showed it to masked Javier, “We need to use this to make them fear. Their fear will bring them into our trap sooner ...”
