He grabbed my arm yanking me away from Gabriel and shoved me behind him growling at Gabriel.
Gabriel growled back at him.
âWhat is the meaning of this ?â My father bellowed angrily.
âShut up.â Lucifer gritted harshly at my dad.
No one speaks to my father that way!
âMind your tone.â I warned.
He placed his index finger on my lips shutting me while glaring at me.
I gulped.
âGiver her back to me.â My father ordered.
I tried to walk around Lucifer but I was pulled against him by my waist.
âAnd where do you think youâre going ?â He asked sarcastically.
âShe is my wife now, sheâs mine now.â I heard Gabrielâs say.
Oh no, what is he doing ?
Within a millisecond, Lucifer tackled Gabriel on the floor.
He punched Gabriel repeatedly on the face. Other pack members tried to help, but the hunters revealed their guns challenging them.
âSheâs not yours sheâs mines.â Lucifer growled and threw punches at him after every word before breaking his nose making blood to run down.
I sprinted towards him. âLucifer stop!â I shrieked trying to tug him back.
Heâs like freaking concrete.
For a minuscule moment, Lucifer had his focus on me which gave access for Gabriel to tackle Lucifer on the ground beside them, hovering over him immediately.
âNo, stop.â I tried trying to haul Gabriel away from him this time.
Wielding my wolfs strength, I pried him away eventually.
Lucifer tried to thrash him again but failed to attempt it as I quickly stood in between them.
âIâm taking her backâ Lucifer announced seizing a hold on my arm.
âWho are you to call her as yours?â Gabriel enquired with a busted lip and broken nose that already launch into to heal.
âSheâs my mate, you sly dog.â Lucifer snarled.
My dad snapped his gaze towards me with a questioning look.
âImpossible! Never a hunter mated to a wolf.â Gabriel protested.
âAlas, Heâs one of us, arenât you ?â Gabrielâs dad, Alpha Zades barged into the conversation.
âYouâre despicable.â Lucifer shook his head at him.
âAm I Lucifer ? You donât really think that I wouldnât know my own heir ?â Alpha Zades questioned.
âYour heir ? Y-you murdered my mom ?â His eyes shifted to charcoal black.
He shook his head.
âLiar.â I accused.
âI warned her, she insisted.â He says.
âI donât believe you.â Lucifer denied.
âItâs the truth.â I cut in.
He glanced at me with disbelieve clearly evident in his eyes.
âDid I ask you to speak ?â He snarled at me.
âWhatever, Iâm taking her back.â He grabbed my upper arm dragging me away only managing a few steps.
âThis is our territory, we play by our rules.â Alpha Zades stood upfront.
Lucifer just rolled his eyes at him.
âSubmit.â Alpha Zades commanded.
Lucifer stopped his steps abruptly, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion.
âNow!â Alpha Zades roared in his Alpha command.
Lucifer dropped to his knees.
He glared at his own biological dad.
His friends tried to help him, until;
âStay out, he only listens to me now.â Alpha Zades informed resulting them to take their steps back.
âYouâll be marrying her.â His dad pointed to me.
âWhat?â Everyone asked in unison.
âNathaniel, agree to this for your daughter.â He says.
My dad looked between me and Lucifer travelling his gaze to Gabriel and Alpha Zades.
My dad unexpectedly nodded.
Shock was an understatement to what I was feeling.
What am I ? A thing that anyone could just possess ?
âSettled. I now pronounce you husband and wife.â He announced.
âEveryone is dismissedâ Alpha Zades excused.
Pack members faded away while the hunters were still there. âCover for me.â Lucifer mouthed at them and they nodded before disappearing.
âHalf brother ?â Gabriel spoke up while they enquired into each other.
âMost likely.â Lucifer scoffed while Gabriel glowered at him.
We were escorted to my room ordered by Alpha Zades. This all seems so surreal. How come he could just trust him to be with me aside of being his son ?
My dad on the other hand ? I donât know what is going through their heads. Wasnât this bind forbidden ?
Lucifer sat down on my bed with an enraged expression covering his features, clenching and unclenching his jaw. His eyebrows knitted together to whatever thoughts he was surveying making his hands turn into tight fists.
I changed into a black shirt and shorts.
âYou okay ?â I asked in a hushed voice.
âThis is your fault.â he accused avoiding my gaze.
âWhat ?â I questioned perplexed.
âHow could you marry someone just like that ?â He flicked his fingers.
âWhy care ? Itâs not like you love me.â I stated.
âThis infuriating voice.â He grumbled pointing to his head.
Heâs alluding his wolf ?
âWhatever.â I grumbled and walked around him. I plopped down on my bed closing my eyes tight.
âWhere should I sleep then ?â He questioned crossing his arms over his chest narrowing his eyes at me.
I pointed on the floor. Well, he did the same didnât he ?
âNot funny.â He stated grimly.
I stayed put not moving a single muscle.
âMove away from the bed before you regret it later.â He warned.
This was my territory wasnât it ? That thought gave me slight courage.
âKeep barkingâ I muttered to my self.
He growled getting on top of the bed hovering over me. My eyes widen as saucers.
âI donât bark.â he gritted eyes remoulding to black.
Curse me! His werewolf hearing.
I placed my hands firmly on his chest trying to shove him away from me.
He grabbed both of my hands in one of his and swiftly pinned them above my head.
Not again!
