Chapter 57: Chapter 57 Gabriella Zades

Valentine Winters P.O.V

I turned to my next side and woke up as I heard soft snores coming from that way. I slightly opened my eyes to see Lucifer’s sleeping figure. The memories of last night came rushing inside my head making my eyes widen and a blush to appear on my cheeks.

I sat up immediately not knowing that his arm was on me as it slid of from my waist hitting his own chest in the process startling him awake.

Oh damn! I cursed inwardly for waking him up.

He grunted opening his eyes as it landed on the empty space beside him before looking up at me with worry etched on his face.

He sat up instantaneously observing me. Tucking a stray of hair at the back of my left ear so he could have more access to look at my face. I was too embarrassed to even take a glance or peek at him.

He placed his thumb and forefinger under my chin, turning to face him. “You okay ?” He questioned worriedly at me.

I didn’t know what to answer him. Was I okay ? I just lost my virginity to someone who abused me and whom I just met almost a year ago.

I was totally aware that he was my mate, but what was literally going through my mind yesterday ? How dumb was I to give in to my wolf’s suggestions and especially to him ?

“Val ?” He called caressing my left cheek softly with his thumb.

“I-I, umm-“ I tried to answer but nothing coherently came out.

“Do you regret yesterday ?” He asked leaning towards my face till our noses were touching staring into my eyes finding for an answer to his question towards me. His beautiful blue eyes held sadness swirling in them.

Do I regret it ? I don’t know. It was my fault.

“I-I need t-time.” I whispered before standing up from the bed to make my way to the washroom.

Before I could take another step, he held onto my left wrist. His eyes begging for an answer. “Please.” And let go of my wrist.

Lucifer Zades P.O.V

She locked herself up in the washroom. What did I do ? So many emotions were filling me up and it was breaking me.

I descended down the staircase and saw Gabriel with some blonde girl beside him. What is he doing here at this time?

Isn’t he suppose to be at his pack ? Guess they heard my arrival as both heads snapped up to me. Lilith is gonna fume finding him with another girl.

“Lucifer.” Gabriel called out to me.

Surprisingly, might I add.

I raised an eyebrow at him curiously nodding my eyes for him to go on. The blonde girl looked at me with her silver grey eyes, popping a chewing gum in her mouth. She was wearing a white leather jacket with white skinny jeans and white boots.

“This is-“ Gabriel started but was cut of by her.

“Hi dear big brother, I’m Gabriella. Gabriel’s twin and your half sister.” She finished.

What ?

“Well, the family just keeps growing doesn’t it?” I asked to Gabriel and he shrugged.

Gabriella punched Gabriel on his arm making him wince and let out an “Ow.”

“You didn’t mention about me?” She shrieked at him.

“Who are you ?” We heard Lilith’s voice from the back along with Evelyn by her side.

Gabriella smirked before wrapping her arms around Gabriel’s neck. “He’s my husband.” Lilith growled at her, eyes already shifting to charcoal black.

“Gabriella!” Gabriel shouted removing her arms from around his neck making her chuckle at his action.

“Lilith! She’s my twin!” He said.

“Whipped!” Gabriella commented rolling her eyes at Gabriel making him glare at her.

“Twin ?” Lilith asked eyes shifting back to her normal black eyes.

“You must be my sister-in-law.” Gabriella stated monotony hugging her. Lilith just stood there shocked before awkwardly embracing her hug.

“You never mentioned that you had a twin to me.” Lilith faced Gabriel.

“Neither did he to me.” I cut in.

Gabriel just stood there scratching the back of his neck nervously.

“Well, I’m here ain’t I ? And wow.” She suddenly said making all of our attention snap towards Gabriella.

She looked between Gabriel and Lilith. “Naughty naughty.” She clicked probably sniffing Lilith’s scent mingled with Gabriel’s as they have fully mated.

Lilith didn’t mind that they mated less than a month of meeting each other ?

“Ella.” Gabriel warned at her rudeness. Lilith’s face was full of embarrassment. “Come on.” Lilith said to her sister Evelyn who was confused and lead themselves outside of the pack house.

“Now that wasn’t so nice now was it little sister?” I asked her. She whipped her head around to look at me biting her bottom lip.

“Let’s just say I don’t care.” She answered making me smirk. Guess someone doesn’t know my old reputation.

“Ella.” Gabriel warned again at her childish behaviour.

I touched Gabriel’s shoulder to stop warning her. I neared her and she didn’t back down making my smirk grow wider. Looks like my little sister have my guts.

I towered over her 5’5 figure. “If you don’t put your best behaviour by the end of the day, I’ll put you down over my knees.” I growled at her lowly.

She rolled her eyes at me as if daring me. Gabriel came in between us pulling me away from her. “Calm down.” He said and she showed her tongue at me making me scowl at her immature childish behaviour.

“You see, my twin protected me.” She grinned.

Seriously ? I mean seriously is she trying to play a dangerous game with me ?

“No, what I saw was that you’re too weak to defend yourself that Gabriel had to.” I replied making the grin on her face fell.

“Oh no.” Gabriel let out and stepped away from me.

Gabriella marched up on me angrily. “Look who’s talking, a child who was born on a one night stand.” She drawled out sarcastically.

That got me speechless. “Gabriella!” Gabriel shouted angrily and pulled her by her right arm harshly before raising his right hand to slap her but I held his hand stopping him from doing so.

“Don’t.” I said. Gabriel held his hands into fists before keeping it down while Gabriella had a shocked expression covering her features.

“I need some air.” I said and left the house, going into the woods surrounding their pack house.

Gabriel Zades P.O.V

Lucifer left and I glared down at her angrily. “How could you ?” I asked disappointed.

“Well it’s the truth, you told me he’s our half brother and that only could have happened if dad had a one night stand before he met mom. He was an unwanted baby.” She assumed everything pathetically.

I shook my head and she raised an eyebrow at me.

“He was an Argent.” I stated and she looked at me eyes wide.

“What ? But- how?” She asked.

I sighed.

“Lucifer was born because he was truly wanted by the Argent’s wife. So, she asked help from dad as being alpha has it’s perks.”

“Then the Argent itself ?-“ She started.

“He couldn’t.” I finished her sentence and she looked at me knowingly.

“Dad wanted Lucifer but his mom refused and the Argent himself raised him. He killed many of our kind Gabriella in a flick of a finger with a ginormous clan that he possesses. He captured this pack’s youngest daughter, Valentine Winters and everything started to turn upside down.”

“How so ?” She questioned.

“He found his mate. I was even ordered to marry her once she was sent back to the pack house wounded and punched in the face before I was able to say I do.” I cringe at the memory.

“That was my first encounter with him and later he became part of this pack, because of him a lethal war between werewolves and hunters had been vanquished so easily by his loyal crew. Once our packs unite, we will be the most powerful pack and he will be our alpha.” I said.

“Dad wants to unite the pack ? ” She asked and I nodded.

“Day by day, Lucifer and I shared our brother bond and it was unbelievably soon that now we treat each other as one too. We protected each other like siblings and we are one now. You hurt our brother Gabriella.” I finished with a frown.

She looked down guilt evident in her eyes. “I didn’t know, I thought-“ She started.

“Stop assuming things before you get a chance to know the real story.” I told and she nodded sighing.

“I gotta go.” She whispered before running out the door into the woods to catch Lucifer.

Lucifer Zades P.O.V

“Hey, wait!” I heard a voice calling from the back of me making me turn around seeing Gabriella.

I rolled my eyes. “Go away.” I shooed facing back to the front. She run up to me with her werewolf speed and I ran further away using my own werewolf speed.

She groaned before coming back in front of her using her werewolf speed again making me roll my eyes at her.

“What do you want ?” I asked annoyed.

“I’m sorry.” She apologised.

I looked at her.

“Is that another sarcasm of yours ? I’m not interested.” I said turning back to just get far away from her. She ran following behind me.

“No! I’m really sorry.” She panted.

“Say that to someone who cares.” I replied continuing my journey now back to the pack house.

“I know you do.” She stated making me glare at her. She grinned at me.

“Siblings fight!” She exclaimed punching me on my back and I halted. Did she seriously just punch me ? Is that even called a punch though ?

“You never give up do you?” I asked exhausted of her character.

“Never, big brother.” She beamed before taking a hold on my left arm and dragging me towards the pack house.

“I can walk by myself.” I stated as a matter of fact.

“I know, but I like annoying you.” She said making me roll my eyes at her.

Once we were at the pack house, I saw Gabriel having a conversation with Octavius. I still hate him.

Suddenly, Octavius snapped his attention to something or should I say someone beside me and growled out. “Mine.”
