Asfa's pov :
Little did I know, that! I'm over thinking! but, I can't change this stubborn habit of mine!! It never brokes and I can't believe! that, tomorrow I'll be married to Humza! and my mind still can't believe it....
Well! talking about everyone, all are hyperactive from past three days. my house is in hustle bustle, I'm neglected from doing any kind of work! because I'm the bride and I shouldn't get my hands in work! these are the exact lines of my imad...
So, I'm doing nothing but thinking of how my life will change! by just uttering, a I do and I'm really feeling nervous and I'm thinking about how all the women go through this phase!! and everyone leaves there home to live with their husbands..
Sometimes, I wonder! why don't men leave their house!, why we had to always leave !!
"Already dreaming about Humza! " came a voice, broking me from my recent revrie ...
"aahh!! don't start again, I'm already done with your teasings" I say authrotively....
"Ok, woman calm down " says Rey and saffu giggles and imad laughs at my condition..
"laugh you idiots, well! no one loves me! in the house " I say dramatically...
"oh! my drama queen is back" saffu says laughingly...
I pout at them and then imad said, he will lead the asr prayer and then we all did our ablution and then we stood behind him in the prayer room, on our prayer rug and his voice is to die for! I was overwhelmed with his recitation and then, we completed our prayers and asked anything and everything from Allah!! because he is the giver!!! then, imad hugged me and kissed my forehead and he did the same to saffu and he was little bit emotional! but, he didn't express himself...
I kept myself strong enough, to not break in front of them! and then, Rey was grinning at me.. but, I was completely unaware of her expression and then she showed me the henna!! and now I get it..
I don't like henna!! I know being a girl, everyone loves! but not me...
And, even after my utmost pleading!! she did applied henna on my hand! and I asked her to put very simple design and
she did a great job in the designs and then, it took a while to get dry while saffu was probably stuffing my mouth, with my favorite food and everyone was settled in the dining room and then, bunny too fed me! practically everyone fed me a morsel each! and my stomach was full and there was no space left! and I was cherishing each and every moment of it...
Then, my henna dried and I removed it and it was bright red in color and then, everyone was laying in the middle of the huge king size bed...
I was laying in the middle and my head was laying on bunny's stomach, and his head was laying on the pillow! and saffu's head was laying on my stomach and imad was lying vertically and all the siblings were busy, in chatting randomly..
"I'll miss this" it was saffu...
"me too " it was bunny, imad and me at the same time...
And we were getting emotional!! so, I changed the topic
"who'll eat the ice cream??? " I said, while wriggling my brows at them
"I'm eating all" I yelled, and ran towards kitchen and they yelled "hey it's cheating " and they too ran behind me! to Get the ice cream, before I finish it and then each held a spoon and dug into the chocolate tub!! and in a blink it was completed..
And, grandpa was admiring the scene taking place on the kitchen island...
"OK kids! that's enough, go get some sleep. tomorrow is a big day for your sister " he says...
Then, we nod our head at him and then we all left to our rooms but saffu and Rey slept with me! but, I didn't get even an ounce of sleep the whole night and I was completely a nervous wreck so, I did my ablution and prayed tahajud and even prayed two rakahs of salat u tauba and I stayed longer in sujood and cried wholeheartedly....
I raise my hand in dua and asked Allah to give me sabr, Hidayah and to bless my new life with love and trust! and to take care of my family and friends and then I completed my dua and then, all woke up for fajr salah! and then, we prayed...
Finally, today was the day!! the day I'm becoming a wife! a daughter in law!! and then, I headed to wash room and did my business and filled the Jacuzzi with warm water and I put lavender drops and bath bomb and I took my time in the tub!!! it calmed my aching nerves and soothes my body and then, I showered and I wore a robe and headed out...
..
Rey was holding my dress, she gave me and I changed in it! the dress was beautiful Masha Allah!!....
And then, saffu did my hijab and then she gave me my Jimmy Choo heels! and it was also very pretty..
And then, I was ready for my nikah!! and then, all my family members gathered and imad and bunny hugged me tight and
"Masha Allah! you look breathtaking sisto" both said grinningly..
And I smiled at them, and then I was seated in the couch and then grandpa entered with the lawyer and bunny and imad were the witness and then he approached me....
Oh Allah!! this is happening!! I'm getting married! it's too late to back out!! Ya Allah! I miss them....
My heart beat got faster and my hand were trembling!! and saffu placed her hand on me and I relaxed! her touch was soothing and Rey was rubbing my back and then, the lawyer (Qazi) started the nikah ceremony...
"Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu asfa are you ready " the lawyer asked...
I nodded my head and then he started...
"Do you asfa Hannan daughter of late Omar Hannan accept Humza Ibrahim son of late wasim Ibrahim as your lawful husband with dollar one Crore as meher " The lawyer asks me..
I can't do this!! I can't marry this early, Ya Allah!! let this pass quickly, Rey squeezed my hand...
"asfu, just say what your heart utters" she says..
I close my eyes and listened to my heart....
"Alhamdulillah, I do!!" I say shakily..
and, my eyes moistened and he asked me another two times!! and I say yes!! and then the whole room burst into takbeer! (allahu Akbar) and I was married! just in a blink and then the (nikah nama) marriage register was passed and I signed it with shaky hand and then saffu hugged me tight!! and then, Rey too hugged me and someone placed his hand on my head!! and I know it was grandpa and then, I was in his embrace and I sobbed! then he wiped my tears and then bunny and imad hugged me tight too and, whispered congratulations!!! and then, with the lawyer all the men left to the masjid and then, Riza aunt was rubbing my back and then, Rey held the phone on speaker and this was his time to say yes...
What if he'll back out now!!! what if he doesn't like me!! Thousand thoughts were on my mind....
The ceremony started and I listened to the Sheik khutba!! and then, it was time for him to say the words and the lawyer asked him! "do You Humza Ibrahim son of late wasim Ibrahim accepts asfa Hannan daughter of late Omar Hannan as your lawful wife with the meher of one crore dollar "
My heartbeats increased frantically!! and I gripped the phone too tight and then, he said "Alhamdulillah I do" and my breath got struck and then, he replied another two times and I released my breath!! again the room burst with allahu Akbar and everyone hugged me again!!.......
Ya Allah! now he is lawfully mine! my husband! my halal!! I can't believe it....
I jerked up my head on listening that the groom is coming
Ya Allah!! why he is coming to See Me??? and how will I face him now??...
"why is he coming?? " I asked Risa aunt....
She chuckled and said "is that even a question??? obviously! he is coming to see you "..
Oh Allah! save me!! And there was a knock at the door and my breath got hitched and I closed my eyes and, the netted veil was on top of my hijab....
And, I kept my head lowered and then..
"good luck asfu! and don't blush! if he kiss you or else you'll look like a tomato!!" she says smiling smugly, and winked at me and left...
My jaw hung open!! and just Wow, Now he'll see my reddened face!!
Oh Allah!! save me from embarrassment!
