Asfa's pov :
It was morning after finishing fajr salah and bidding good bye to my family, we made our way to the airport,where our private jet was waiting for our journey, this time we are taking our family jet
Because, Rey's husband took his jet for his best friend's wedding,which Is the same wedding, we are attending...
How, irony is that!!!
After settling in comfortably,we landed in New York City after 6 hours of travel then we settled in Mia's mansion and tomorrow evening we have bridal shower and then bachelorette party....
"Rey, what do you think,will he forgive me for my actions?"I asked her feeling guilty ...
"no asfu, he will, I'm sure because your intention was pure, you didn't mean to hurt him" she said Assuringly...
"how can you be so sure about that?? "I asked her, raising a brow at her...
"because, arhaan explained to him yesterday " she said, wriggling her brows at me...
"what? I mean how??? " I ask her dumbfounded..
"Duh, he is my hubby's best friend, asfa"she said, as a matter of fact....
I gasped at her sudden info and my shock doubled on hearing that they too will attend this wedding, because it's their best buddy Leo's wedding...
Ahhh!! what a small world our best friend is getting married, to their best friend and on top of that my Rey, is already married to his best friend!!! I mean just wowww!!! My conscience rolled her eyes at my stupidity....
"look, arhaan is calling " she said excitedly Love is clearly visible in her eyes for him, no doubt! they are very deeply in love...
I feel very Happy to see my best friend talking heartily with her love of life and they finally settled their conflict ,which was disturbing them! because of that fight she was with me all the time, without meeting him and staying at my place and even though being the wife of arhaan qureshi, who owns the largest shipping company in the world, she loves to work as my assistant, because that is the only way to spend our time together and now, they are back to the love birds mode ...
I wish, Maybe someday.... You know what I mean right!!!
Next day, we enjoyed our free time sipping cocktails, having chitchat with all our college buddies and the best part about weddings is that there will be a friend's reunion and soon it was time for bachelor's party....
I got ready in a pearl gown with a cream hijab and silver Sandals
And Rey, got ready in a grey gown which is Embroided with feathers
Soon, we ascend down to the backyard, where the party will be starting, it was very simple dinner yet fancy...
We got seated and we were wearing our flower crown, which was placed in it and by my luck, I got the most beautiful crown....
After playing various games, having multiple cups of hot chocolate and partying like no tomorrow, we retired for bed early as it was Mia's wedding... And we hid a surprise for mia in her bedroom, as it was her last day as a bachelor wink*wink*.. !! we followed her to her room, on opening the door she was stunned to see her surprise...
Then, she was shedding tears of joy and happiness, we left because tomorrow is a big day for our friend....
We friends got ready in the same attire as we were the bride's mate and I was the maid of honor ...
We reached the hall and there was Leo, standing at the end of the alter waiting for her bride and he was already in tears by seeing her bride,
And, I gasped at seeing who the groom's best man was.... And I avert my gaze before he caught me, then the priest started the ceremony and after their vows saying "I DO'S"... The wedding ritual was completed
they cut their wedding cake and the newly married couple, made their way to the dance floor for their first dance, they started dancing together on the song "PERFECT " by Ed Sheeran, me and Rey was looking at them, in aww..
Soon, arhaan bro came to us, meanwhile Rey jumped in his arms hugging him tightly, whispering I missed you so much and he kissed her in her temple and said "Assalamu alaikum asfa! how are you ? "he asked while keeping his hand at Rey's waist and pulling her very close as if she will disappear he commented that she was looking very beautiful, and she was blushing like a tomato..
"I'm fine, Alhamdulillah, bro "I said smilingly...
"how are you Humza ??"she asked Mr. Ibrahim like a big sister... Oh so Humza was his name...
"I'm good, Alhamdulillah sistah " he replied smiling..
We, didn't look at each other and Rey sensed the tension in the air so she changed the topic and we left for dinner. we had a Gala time with each other, then it's time for her to leave with her husband and it was time for throwing the bouquet, as per her tradition all the single ladies should stand and the one who will catch the bouquet, will be the next soon to be bride.
Despite my protest, Rey made me stand saying, its just for fun and say it coincidence or fate I catch the bouquet... And Rey was grinning at me like a fool and I didn't know, but I feel someone's gaze on me and I, turn to look who is it was...
Yeah!yeah! you guessed it right, it was non another than him!! You know who it's right??
Humza's pov :
I don't know, why but I was feeling very happy, knowing that she too was here and arhaan was very excited to meet his wife, after their serious fight for which cost him his peace of mind, he was disturbed the whole time but after settling their differences, my happy go lucky, buddy is back and he was again behaving like a love sick puppy, just the mere mention of ruba's name brought a huge smile on his face.
love was visible in his eyes and I was looking at him the whole time, while he was busy in talking with his love of life, after disconnecting the call, he saw me looking at him and he understood what was going on my mind..
"you'll understand, when you will fall in love buddy " he tapped my shoulder, and I just shrugged it off then I decided to take a nap, but it turned out to be a full night sleep.
It was the big day, the wedding day and soon we reached the venue it was decorated beautifully ..
Leo, was sweating profusely while we were laughing at him! but on seeing, mia walking on the alter, he was in tears and grinning like he was the luckiest man on earth...
Let's see in your wedding, dude! my conscience mocked at me!!!
But, my gaze stuck at the one person whom I was dreading to see, yeah! the brown pairs, once again caught my attention!!
I was shocked to see that, she was the maid of honor and I was the best man! what a coincidence?
I thought smiling she was looking beautiful, Masha Allah! The veil was covering her face! Yet she was looking very beautiful!
And, after their vows,arhaan was behaving like an impatient child, who is deprived of his candy and he rushed towards his candy, I mean ruba and she too jumped in his arms as soon as he was near her, he twirled her slightly and placing a loving kiss on her temple and she was blushing like a tomato, I was smiling like a fool seeing the love of love birds, soon haan asked ms Hannan how is she and she replied sweetly
Oh,so asfa! was her name, well pretty nice, I see!!
Then, sis in Law sensed the tension between us, so she asked us to join the food court and we made our way to the food area ...
soon it was the leaving time for the couple and she was throwing her bouquet which was caught by ahem** non another than Ms Hannan... I was seeing her in awe and our gaze was locked and this time I looked away first.
I don't want to be embarrassed this time, so I didn't looked at her and then the couple left and we too checked out of the hotel, then I dropped arhaan at the airport, where sis in law and asf I mean Ms Hannan was waiting, as they were going back to California, meanwhile I took arhaan's jet as I was flying to dubai for a week, as I had to close the deal there then I bid my good byes to haan and ruba sis I left towards my jet and in no time I was in air.
I thought of all the incidents happening in my life, if it was a sign from Allah or it was just a coincidence!! and then I was in a deep slumber after reaching dubai, I made my way to the penthouse as I got fresh in my room
And, after offering my duhur salah I started my work !!
After, working for continuous hours, I got hungry! I ordered room service and ate my lunch. then I hit the gym and did my workouts and after sometime I received a call from mama and I talked with her then I decided to sleep....
After, closing the deal and it was my return to California tomorrow and I had to buy some gifts for everyone, so I entered the mall of emirates in al-barsha. Then, I started shopping for my family, I bought various toys for Zain and I got a channel bag and shades for aala and an emerald ring for mama and a dior shades, for sis in law and an armani watch, for haan and a pendant..
I reached California in no time, and eating my mama's made food, I was feeling very happy and then I explained to them, about my trip then Zain was seated on my lap we were playing in play station after a couple of games, I decided to show him the gift's and as soon as he received it, he was jumping in joy and aala started scolding me that I'm spoiling Zain too much and after her lecture I gave her gifts
I gave mumma, her beautiful emerald ring and she said it was beautiful!!
I decided to give the gift's to arhaan tomorrow, as there will be a get together, in the evening and then, I was very tired, completing my isha salah and night routine, I changed into a sweat pant I climbed my bed but Zain came to my room and snuggled into me, I laugh at his acts, then I cuddled with him and drifted off to deep slumber...
