Emerson POV
The headmasters gave me directions to the new room I got. It was beyond what I expected to be honest.
I picked a side to live on and began to unpack until I heard the door fly open and a girl walked in.
She was about my height, grey eyes, and a huge smile. It took me by surprise at first as I thought vampires only had red eyes but I guess that was a myth.
"You must be my roommate, I'm Taylor nice to meet you." She said with a happy tone extending a hand to me to shake.
"Emerson, nice to meet you." I replied snapping out of thought shaking her hand gently.
I didn't want her to think I didn't like her or anything like that.
"She's nice." Carter said and I nodded in agreement.
"That's a pretty name. Thanks for accepting to room with me." She said as I smiled.
"No problem." I said with a small nod before I started to unpack again.
"So you're a werewolf." She said as I nodded.
I don't like talking to new people much but I needed to do it plus she seemed nice and gentle so why not.
"I am."
"Does that mean you have the voice in your head?" She asked as I laughed. I guess both sides of the war didn't really know much about each other after all.
"Yes I have that and her name is Carter." I said with a smile.
"That's super cool." She said as I nodded.
They're not really cool especially when they bother you constantly.
"Hey! I don't do that." Carter snapped as I chuckled.
"You vampires don't have only red eyes I find that pretty cool." I spoke up feeling bad for her being the only one to talk.
"Oh uh thank you and yeah that's only a myth it only happens when we want it to happen, like this." She said letting her eyes turn red as I admired in excitement.
I guess this will be a learning experience for the both of us.
