Emerson POV
Hit. Hit. Hit. I thought as every punch I threw landed on him as he constantly broke his cover for his body.
I mean you'd think as the alpha's son he'd know how to fight, but if you ever made that assumption you'd be wrong. Not to mention he's incredibly spoiled.
He ran at me causing me to kick him straight in the stomach causing him to fall back out of breath clearly losing the fight.
"That's it! I'm going to tell my father and mother if you don't stop this assault!" He yelled at me as if he were a child.
"Conner we are sparing I'm not supposed to let you win." I said with a sigh as I backed away from him.
"I'm the future alpha you do as I say!" He growled at me. I was about to speak until a very familiar voice came from behind me.
"You're right but you're not the alpha so your word is just as bendable as ours." My older brother, Elliott said.
I sighed a sigh of relief as my brother took a stance beside me. We were the beta's children while Conner was the alpha child so we all stood on the same ground of power.
Conner huffed in annoyance before standing up and leaving the training area making Elliott burst out laughing.
"I hope to the goddess when the time comes alpha chooses someone more...grown to be the next alpha." He said chuckling as we began walking home.
"So I assume you kicked his ass again?" He asked as I smiled and nodded.
Everyone in the pack knew that Conner was weak even though he was the alpha's son. Not to mention he had this idea planted in his head that he was the next alpha just because he was male.
"I did." I said as Elliott smiled.
"Good." He said as we both broke out into laughter as we went inside our house, our laughter causing our parents ears to perk up.
"What's that laughter for?" My mom asked as Elliott smiled proudly.
"Emerson has once again kicked Conner's ass." My brother said proudly as my mother shook her head and my father smiled proudly.
"Again? Damn he must really like getting his ass kicked." My father said with a chuckle as my mom glared at him.
"I thought I told you to lay low emery." My mom said with a worried look.
I sighed understanding her worries. The Luna had a watchful eye on us worried about her son's training.
"It can't be helped dear if he starts the fight she has no choice but to fight him and she shouldn't lower herself just for a child that can't fight." My father said in my defense as we all sighed and nodded.
"A child who can't fight?" A voice asked as we looked at the front door to see the alpha.
