Chapter 52: Are You Ok?

Emerson POV

After what felt like hours explaining what happened, headmaster River dealt with them as they were werewolves while me and Valencia got off free.

Now I'm trying to get a hold of Elliott on the phone to ask him if he's okay as soon as I heard something on the other line I quickly spoke.

"Elliott, Elliott, are you alright?" I asked worried as he stayed silent for a moment.

"Yeah...why wouldn't I be?" He asked as I sighed a breath of relief.

"Well..I heard that you got into a fight with Connor so I thought I'd give you a call." I explained hesitant to tell the full story.

"How did you find out about that?" He asked curiously which made me sigh as I looked at my newly bandaged arm debating if I should tell him or not.

"I uh got into a fight..with uh Connor's friends. But don't worry I'm fine. It just shook me up a bit." I said as I heard him growl.

"What do you mean 'a fight' did they hurt you?" He asked.

"They did a bit nothing to bad though. They just threatened me with silver but they never went past that." I explained.

"Did someone find you guys? Were they punished? Did they admit what they did?" He asked.

"They were stopped by someone." I answered truthfully as he sighed in relief.

"Good. Good." He said relieved.

"I'm glad you're ok Emerson. Call me if anything else happens before you come back home alright?" He said which made me chuckle.

"Will do. Be safe Elliott and please no more fighting." I said softly.

"I will don't worry." He said as we both wished one another goodbyes before hanging up the phone.

I looked over and saw Valencia staring at me as she leaned on the door frame.

"I feel as if it's my fault." I whispered as she nodded understandingly before walking over to me and sitting down on the bed next to me.

"It's not your fault Emerson." She said softly.

"I fought Connor in the first place and if I didn't do that and just let him win for once I would still be at home and with my family." I explained as she shook her head.

"You didn't let him walk all over you and that's a good thing plus you met me. You have me now and I promise you if I ever meet him won't let him hurt you ever again." She whispered softly as I leaned my head on her shoulder and relaxed myself for the day.
