Emerson POV
The semester has officially ended so now everyone who is on the academy grounds are mostly packing up their belongings getting ready to go home.
Valencia was helping me with my packing due to my hand as she was already done packing somehow but she's a vampire so I guess superseded helped out a lot.
"You doing alright little wolf?" She asked checking up on me again which made me smile.
"I'm doing ok." I replied still not getting used to her nickname for me.
"Emerson." Carter said through our mind link.
"Yeah Carter?" I replied.
"Invite her to stay at the pack to meet Mom, Dad, and Elliott." Carter said making me freeze.
"What?" I said shocked.
"Invite her to the pack. I mean she has to meet them at one point so why not now plus we get more time with her." Carter said excitedly which made me sigh.
Even though she was my mate I was still nervous to ask her such a question. I mean what if it's too early for that? What if she rejects and I look like an idiot?
"Emerson? You alright?" Valencia asked now standing beside me pulling me out of thought.
"Yeah..of course I was just thinking." I answered a bit flustered by her closeness.
"Thinking about what little wolf?" She asked quietly.
"Goddess I love her voice." Carter said to me as I blushed and blocked her out.
"Well..I uh..I was wondering or rather me and Carter were wondering if you'd like to visit our pack with us?" I asked nervously as she just stared at me.
"Like to meet my pack and family you know." I clarified which made her suddenly smile.
"I would love to join you on your way home." She said making me smile.
"Really?" I asked as she chuckled.
"Really." She said with a nod which made me hug her as she hugged back.
"Now let's finish packing shall we?" She asked softly as I nodded in agreement as we started packing once again.
