Chapter 56: Train Ride

Her Little WolfWords: 2020

Valencia POV

I watched as the trees passed by our window as the train flew by them. I glanced over at Emerson who was peacefully asleep her head resting on my shoulder.

I have such a beautiful mate. I couldn't be happier I was gifted such a wonderful gift from the gods above.

I looked down at my hand which she was still holding onto even in her sleep. It was cute. I smiled softly and kissed the top of her head as I glanced out the window again.

I can't say that I wasn't nervous about meeting her family as I have nothing to work off of not to mention I'm a vampire but I'm confident to a certain degree.

We were on the train ride back to the werewolves territory. I still remember the send off Taylor and Piper gave to us.

An hour earlier

"You better come back, Emerson. I want to introduce you to my parents." Taylor said as Piper glanced at her.

"Hey.." She said as Taylor rolled her eyes.

"My parents already know you." She grumbled as Piper chuckled and then gave me a hug.

"Stay safe and keep her safe as well." Piper whispered into my ear as she patted my back and left our embrace.

"Will do." I replied as I glanced over to Taylor and Emerson who were still hugging.

"Little wolf we have to get going." I said to Emerson as she sighed and left their embrace.

"Take care Emerson." Piper said as Emerson nodded.

"You too." She replied as I wished Taylor a goodbye.

"Take care of her." Taylor whispered to me as I nodded.

"Planned on it." I replied as we both smiled at one another.

Emerson interlocked our hands as we got onto the train full of wolves. We took our seats as the train took off. We waved them goodbye as the train left the station. Piper and Taylor slowly leaving view.

The present

I sighed as I relaxed in my seat even though I could still feel the stares of the other werewolves on the train.

I looked out the window as the dark trees turned into light ones which made me smile.

We made it. Werewolf territory. I thought to myself as I continued to admire the beautiful view outside the train.
