Emerson POV
Holy crap..it's Kate.
But why are her eyes activated?
"Kate!" I said happily as I hugged her tightly her eyes softening as she hugged me back but then I heard a growl from behind me.
I turned around to see Valencia glaring at Kate who was also glaring at Valencia her eyes hardening at the sight of her.
"Woah woah woah calm down." I told both of them as they both looked at me.
"What's a blood sucker doing here?" Kate growled.
"Well-"
"And what are you doing hugging on someone like that?" Valencia snapped both their eyes now activated.
"STOP IT!" I yelled causing them both to snap out of it.
"Valencia, this is Kate the alpha's daughter and Kate this is my mate Valencia." I introduced both of them as I stayed between them.
"Now be nice..geez." I mumbled as both their eyes softened but Valencia wrapped her arms around my waist.
"My mate.." She mumbled as I sighed.
"I apologize I just..sensed a vampire and I thought maybe you were in danger." Kate explained as Valencia just snuggled into my neck.
"It's alright and you out of my neck." I grumbled as I pushed Valencia off me which made her frown.
Everyone chuckled at my actions as I looked back over to Kate who was looking down at my injured hand.
"Did he do that?" She asked as I felt the tension in the room get heavier.
"He had someone do it for him but to answer your question, yes, yes he did." I replied which made her growl in anger.
"I'm sorry..about all of this..I should've been here." She apologized which made me and Elliott shake our heads.
"No you didn't. You needed to heal." Elliott said as I nodded in agreement.
"Well now that you're home we can put our plan into action." She said with a smile which Elliott returned as the rest of us looked confused.
