Emerson POV
I had left shortly after as I wanted to take some time alone to myself and think about my decision as I laid down in the grass in order to relax.
I laid down for a bit to let my body relax but I heard someone running towards me making me lean myself up to see Elliott.
"Oh hey Elliott what's wrong?" I asked as I sat up as he stopped to take a breath before looking at me with a saddened expression.
He sat down next to me before glancing at me.
"Why did you agree to go?" He asked softly as I sighed.
"I didn't really have a choice Eli I mean it was that or leave the pack and I couldn't do that to Mom, Dad, nor you." I replied as he nodded.
"I can fight him for you. Challenge him for you." He suggested as I instantly shook my head.
"No absolutely not. You're not making enemies with the Luna while you're meant to be the heir for dad." I said softly as he groaned.
"Mom is worried for you." He said as I nodded.
"I know." I said with a chuckle.
"Mom is always worried when it comes to us." I said with a small smile as he nodded in agreement.
"Are you sure you can do this? Go there alone I mean." He asked as I nodded.
"I'm sure Elliott." I said with a smile.
"I'm worried." He said as I looked at him before leaning my head on his shoulder.
"I'm worried that the vampires will overtake you or jump you or something. And I won't be there to help you or to back you." He said telling me his worries as I nodded.
I understood his worries we have always been close even when we were children. We've always been by one another's side fighting side by side.
We were all we had plus due to Connor's attitude and spoiledness everyone thinks we are the same so they keep their distance even though people like us more.
"I'm quiet most of the time Elliott so I'll stay out of their way." I said easing his worries as he sighed and nodded.
"Fine I guess I'll let you go. BUT if you need anything and I mean anything please call me I'll be there in an instant." He said as I glanced at him before I laughed.
"I will I promise." I said with a small smile.
"And come visit us." He said as I nodded again.
"I will."
"Now come on mom said dinner is done." He said as I nodded and stood up before we both began running home.
