Emerson POV
"Emerson! I'm so glad you're back." Uncle Ray or rather the alpha said as he brought me into a hug.
I hugged back with the one arm I could only use. Both Valencia and Kate stayed a bit hidden from everyone else but I guess that was part of the plan.
You most likely don't want to approach three of the most important people of the pack with a vampire and the alpha's first born that would probably give away a lot of things.
"I'm glad to be back too sir." I said with a smile as he playfully rolled his eyes.
"Call me Uncle Ray. You know that." He said as my father chuckled. I looked over at Connor who was smirking at my arm which was now in a sling. While his mom, the Luna, looked at me with disgust.
"Uncle Ray it is then." I said with a chuckle which made him smile.
He looked down at my hand with a saddened look.
"I'm sorry you got hurt, emery. I didn't know that wolves could be so violent to their own kind especially given the situation all of you were there for." He said sounding apologetic which made me confused.
I looked over at my brother who looked as confused as I did. How the hell did he know about the injury I mean it's obvious I got hurt due to the sling but how does he know the specifics?
"How did you find out about it Ray?" My father spoke up probably sensing the confusion we had.
"Oh well apparently according to Connor headmaster River had called to inform me but he picked up the phone instead and then told me when I got back." He explained with a smile.
I stared in confusion as I looked over at Connor who was grinning ear to ear as he met my eyes. He winked at me which made me almost gag in disgust.
So he told his father what happened to me but just forgot to mention he was the only that told said wolves to do the attack on me.
What a prick.
I backed away from him and closer to my brother who had his eyes on him as well which made his grin to get wider.
"Yeah I mean thank the goddess for my son or else we wouldn't have even known you were hurt." The Luna said graining the same grin as her son.
They're working together on this. I glanced over at my brother who gave me a nod of reassurance. But my nerves were still at an all time high.
"I agree thank the goddess for Connor."
