Emerson POV
It's been a couple of days since I agreed to go to Riverwood Academy and I've been packing and I'm done.
I sighed in relief as all my stuff was organized and such but then I heard a knock on my door to see my dad at my door.
"Hey kiddo wanna go on a run with me?" He asked as I nodded.
We walked outside my room to see my mom standing there with a smile as she looked at us both.
"You two better be home by dinner or I'm going to beat both of you." She said jokingly as we smiled and nodded.
"Yes ma'am wouldn't want that would we Emerson?" My dad asked as I shook my head.
"Good now off you two go." She said waving us off as we nodded and left the house and into the woods shifting into our wolves as we began our run.
My fur was pure black like my dad's. While my mom's wolf was pure white which my brother's was the same.
The air went through my fur as my paws sunk into the ground with every step I made until we stopped at the creek sitting down next to each other on the creek.
"I remember when I first took you here. You were so excited." He spoke through our mind link as I stared at the nature in front of me.
"If you ever need to come home. You come home. I don't care if it breaks the agreement you come home if you need to."
"That would start war dad." I said softly as he turned his head to me.
"You are my daughter as Elliott is my son I would gladly start war for either of you if it meant you felt safe." He said as I looked back at him.
"But if you are sure of going then you go and you show them what us Chase's can do." He said as I laughed within the link.
"Will do Dad. Will do." I said as he sighed.
"You better protect my daughter Carter." He said speaking to my wolf as she joined the conversation.
"I won't let anything happen to her." She spoke back to him as he sighed in relief as he stared at me.
"Then we best get home it's getting dark and I don't want your mom out here late at night looking for us." Dad said as I nodded in agreement as we both got up and ran back to the house in time for dinner time.
