Emerson POV
It's been sometime since that big incident happened. I'm a lot more calm of course thanks to Valencia.
But enough of that. Connor ended up apologizing after a while it wasn't of his own accord though, uncle Ray made him do it and then he had to apologize to the entire pack for misleading them of who the future alpha was going to be.
On that note though Kate was officially labeled as the heir to the title which everyone knew was coming.
And my brother ended up getting a massive apology as well from Connor. And my brother also got the official title of heir to my dad's title which is nice.
As for me, my hand has healed completely. And I got an awesome looking scar to go with it. Which Carter says it was worth it just for the scar. And now I'm sitting in the kitchen eating the pasta Valencia had made for me.
"So um now that your hand is healed and all. May I ask you something little wolf?" Valencia asked making me glance up at her.
"Sure ask away." I replied with a smile.
"Well uh I was wondering if I could see your wolf. I mean of course you don't have too. But you talk of Carter so fondly and I wish to meet her if possible." Valencia said as I stopped eating for a moment.
"Did you hear that Carter?" I asked opening the mind link.
"Damn right I did. Say yes. Say yes." She replied happily.
"She said she'd love too." I said to Valencia who was now smiling ear to ear.
"Why are you smiling like that?" I asked confused.
"I just really like your pretty eyes little wolf." She answered.
"What about them is pretty?" I asked softly.
"Well I'm assuming it happens when you talk to Carter but sometimes you just stare into space and then your eyes..they change color from a beautiful green to a bright blue. I'd say it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." She explained which made me blush.
"Ohhhh you blushing." Carter teased.
"Shut up." I grumbled breaking the mind link.
"See you did it again." She said happily as I chuckled.
"Well I'm glad you like it." I replied as I ate my food.
"So we go on the run tomorrow?" I asked.
"Sound good to me little wolf." She replied as I nodded a comfortable silence falling upon us as we ate our food.
