While Xiao Jingting and all others were enjoying dumplings in the house, the door was kicked open. At the same time, all the people there looked at the person at the door.

“Elder brother, what are you doing here?” asked Xiao Jinfeng.

“How jolly you are!” Xiao Qingyan quipped.

Xiao Xiaofan bit his chopsticks and said, “Eldest uncle, are you here to taste the dumplings, too? But we have almost finished and there’re few remaining.”

Xiao Xiaofan said as he put his bowl in arms, and hurriedly picked the few remaining dumplings to his mouth with chopsticks.

Seeing the way Xiao Xiaofan protecting his food, Xiao Xiaodong slightly sniffed, “Idiot.” And Xiao Xiaodong thought quietly: since Xiao Qingyan always thought himself superior to others, how could he covet Xiao Xiaofan’s remaining dumplings? Alas, Xiao Xiaofan even dropped his mouth water in his bowl, worthless thing!

“Have a seat, eldest brother.” Xiao Jingting brought a chair and said.

Xiao Qingyan glanced about Xiao Jinfeng and Xiao Jingting and said, “Be careful, you two. Don’t expect your disgraceful trick to work. Don’t think highly of yourself just because you are able to make some money now.”

Xiao Qingyan had come aggressively and then left hurriedly, leaving all those in the house looking at each other.

Xiao Jingting turned to Xiao Jinfeng and asked, “Second brother, have you visited our parents?”

“No, I haven’t.” How could he have such leisure to do that? Besides, their parents favored Xiao Qingyan most, and he was just nothing before them compared with Xiao Qingyan. If he had run to inform their parents about it, he would be more likely considered as sowing discord. “So violent-tempered our elder brother is!” Mu Shuyu said sarcastically.

Xu Muan looked at Xiao Jinfeng and asked, “Second brother, have you quarreled with Zhou Kangqi in front of the dessert shop?”

Xiao Jinfeng nodded, “Yes!”

Xu Muan laughed and said, “Then our parents would know the news and there was nothing weird about it at all! Otherwise it would be the truly wired case.” Since Xiao Jinfeng and Zhou Kangqi had quarreled in front of the shop, in and out of which there were so many people coming and going, their news would certainly travel fast! Xiao Qingyan just didn’t know the situation on account of laying the blame on his two younger brothers as soon as anything went wrong.

Xiao Jingting nodded, “Yeah!” The parents of the original Xiao Jingting were not easy to deal with, too. Otherwise, how could they admonish the eldest family to be so pliant as soon as they came back?

Listening to the conversation of the adults, Xiao Xiaofan rolled his eyes, hesitated to speak for several times.

“Xiaofan, what do you want to say?” asked Mu Shuyu.

Xiao Xiaofan lifted his bowl and said, “I have finished all. Can I have another bowl?”

Xiao Jingting felt speechless with embarrassment.

“Well, I’ll give you more. There seems to be still some left in the pot.” Xiao Jingting said.

Xiao Xiaofan raised his hand and said, “Brother also said he hadn’t had enough, and he wants more, too.”

Xiao Xiaodong’s face slightly turned red, but he didn’t refute Xiao Xiaofan’s words. Xiao Jingting gave Xiao Xiaodong a glimpse and said with smile, “Xiaodong also want more? OK, I’ll give him as well.”

“Do Xiao Jingting and Xiao Jinfeng really have a booming business in their shop?” asked Xiao Qingyan.

Xiao Qingyan had asserted that Xiao Jingting’s shop would surely fail before he returned to the Academy. But later, Zheng Pei’er had told him on the letter that the business in the shop was really booming, which made Xiao Qingyan felt angry and awkward. “Maybe you should offer your parents an apology first.” Zheng Pei’er proposed carefully.

Zheng Pei’er could see that, since Xiao Qingyan and Xiao Linfeng, Wang Lu parted in discord several days ago, their parents’ attitude towards him had turned much indifferent suddenly.
