“How do you put money in your WeChat account?” He asked Nian Xi.

“You need to connect it with your bank account,” Nian Xi parked at his downstairs then picked up her phone, sent him ten yuan, “Here, the change that the restaurant owner gave me just now.”

“Don’t give it to me,” Jiang Yuning wasn’t happy to receive the money. He liked it when she spent his money.

“I know ten yuan means nothing to you. But, we’re friends now. I don’t like taking advantage of friends,” Nian Xi explained.

Jiang Yuning was still unhappy.

“I like it when you take advantage of me,” he said.

Nian Xi, again, didn’t know what to say. Jiang Yuning talked way too straightforward. Sometimes, she felt really awkward when talking to him.

“Just go home. I’m going home to rest too,” said Nian Xi.

“Hmm,” Jiang Yuning opened the door, put a foot out of the car, then asked her another question, “When can I clean your apartment?”

He didn’t forget about that. Nian Xi found it both funny and annoying. She looked at his serious face, said to him, “I don’t want you to clean my apartment.” She knew clearly that he was trying to create a chance to get close to her.

“I’m good at cleaning,” Jiang Yuning said disappointedly.

“But, I could use some company for shopping, eating, and movies,” Nian Xi continued with, “Do you have time?”

“What?” Jiang Yuning blinked. It took him a while to react, “Yeah-yeah.”

“But I’m working on the case recently. We’ll do those things when I have time,” said Nian Xi, “Oh, can you ask your colleagues about how carbon powders are normal used in colleges, except for making copies?”

Jiang Yuning scratched the back of his head.

Nian Xi explained to him, “Duan Yang had carbon powder in his nails.”
