Nian Xi was so angry she felt like twisting Jiang Yuning’s ears.

He not only ate the food that the woman put in his bowl but also helped her. That was outrageous.

“I think Ms. Nian was probably joking,” He Xin said, smiling. “Ms. Nian, I meant what I said.”

Nian Xi wasn’t happy to hear that. Did she not mean what she said?

“Go and talk to Uncle Han,” said Nian Xi coldly. “He’s the one responsible for cleaning my damaged kitchen. Ms. He, I’m glad you’re here. I heard from Yuning that you’re competent. I admire you. But, why was the robot suddenly out of control? Please give me an explanation.”

“Yuning and I have been trying to figure that out,” said He Xin. “I knew Yuning wanted to make you happy with this robot, so I added two new functions to it. The new program conflicted with the old ones. As for which program it conflicted with, we’re still trying to find out. I just got here.”

“Ms. He,” said Nian Xi displeasedly. “I’m not your robot tester. I don’t know what you do, but I know that without multiple tests, a high-tech product shouldn’t be added with new programs. This robot is not a motorcycle to which you can easily add a new wheel. As far as I know, many robots undergo thorough testing before they are put into the market because once an accident happened, it might endanger people’s lives.”

“I understand,” He Xin nodded. “I didn’t just add a random new program to it. I stayed up for two entire nights to work on the new program because I was worried it might not work well. However, I’m not omnipotent. I can’t guarantee a hundred percent safety. Even the robots you can find on the market now might have some problems and be recalled. The same thing happens to food and electrical appliances, too.”

“Ms. He, you are very glib,” Nian Xi sneered.

“M. Nian, you are prejudiced against me.” He Xin gave a smile.

“Stop fighting.” The unfriendly conversation between the two girls made was making Jiang Tuning dizzy. “Xi, what’s in your hand?” he said. “It looks like food.”

Nian Xi almost forgot about the food that she brought there. She was going to feed Jiang Yuning, but unexpectedly he was enjoying a meal with another girl.

Nian Xi smiled, said, “Yeah. This food is my lunch. I haven’t had lunch yet.”

After saying that, she sat down on a chair and opened the food box. A pleasant aroma filled the lab.

Looking at her food, Jiang Yuning’s stomach grumbled. With no other choices, he picked up his rice and vegetables and continued eating.

Nian Xi wouldn’t share her food with him, so he could only eat his own.

Nian Xi even wanted to vomit blood. What a silly boy. Couldn’t he ask her to share her lunch?

He Xin looked at Nian Xi, smiling. “Ms. Nian is having such a rich lunch. I thought you brought it for Yuning. Thankfully, I already bought him lunch on my way here.”
