Chapter 1434: Chapter 1434 - Ill Be Staying in the Same Room As Yan Su

His jacket was around her now.

Yan Su pat his pockets and there it was — an apple. It was a red and juicy-looking apple as well, albeit a little smaller with a ribbon bow wrapped around it.

She looked up and said, “Besides the size of the apples, can you please enlighten me on how different this apple is from the one Shi Xiang gave me? It’s obvious that it has wax on it as well.”

“Pretty apples all look like that, I can’t do anything about it... but I can peel the skin off for you,” Mo Liuxi said as he picked up a fruit knife from the table.

Yan Su kept quiet.

Mo Liuxi took her apple and started peeling the skin off. Yan Su dug into her dinner — it was already seven and she was getting quite hungry.

After a while, Mo Liuxi handed the apple back to her, “Have this, you have to have an apple for Christmas.”

Yan Su took it from him; he did a good job peeling the fruit. The apple was clean and he didn’t take out too much of the flesh. She took two bites before Mo Liuxi leaned in and took a bite too. He remarked, “How sweet.”

Yan Su was blushing — it was obvious to her that he no longer cared about what others thought of them.

After a while, Mo Liuxi took a bite of the apple that Shi Xiang had gifted her. He said, “This apple tastes bland... it isn’t sweet at all. Thank goodness I didn’t let you eat this.”

Yan Su quickly stuffed his mouth with some beef to shut him up.

Mo Liuxi grinned watching her.

“Hey, stop being so gross and mushy.” Ji Nuanyi walked over to them. “Liuxi, the emcee is asking for you.”

Mo Liuxi walked over to the emcee to find Shi Xiang and Cheng Sheng there as well.

Shi Xiang recognized the apple in his hands immediately. It was the apple that he picked out especially for Yan Su — the biggest and reddest one of the bunch. Mo Liuxi was munching on it.

“This is your apple, isn’t it?” Mo Liuxi said with glee. “Yan Su said that she wanted to have my apple, so she gave me this one instead. It doesn’t taste so great.”n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Shi Xiang’s temples throbbed. Cheng Sheng was at a loss of words in that situation; he was caught in between the two of them.

An awkward silence filled the air.

Before they entered the venue, the head of marketing went over and said, “There’s been an emergency. The hotel that we booked was leaked to Ji Nuanyi’s fans — the address is posted all over the internet. We’re anticipating a lot of fans crowding over there tonight so we’ve decided to change the hotel for the sake of everyone’s safety and security. Is that okay with everyone?”

“It’s alright,” Ji Nuanyi sighed helplessly. “This is all because of me. I’m sorry everybody.”

“It’s ok. Fans are like that sometimes,” Cheng Sheng comforted her.

The marketing chief continued, “The arrangements will be the same for everyone. Are there any changes? Everyone will be staying tonight except for Ziqian?”

“I don’t need a room,” Mo Liuxi said lazily with his hands in his pocket.

Everyone looked over at Yan Su and she had a bad feeling in her stomach. Mo Liuxi continued, “I’ll be staying in the same room as Yan Su. No need to waste resources. Can we get a larger room for ourselves, please?”

“Woah, youngsters... I had no idea,” Lu Tao chuckled.

Everyone was looking at both of them suggestively. Ji Nuanyi gave Yan Su a gentle nudge and said, “Good for you. I didn’t know that you two had progressed to that stage already.”

Yan Su really wanted to bury herself underground.

He was practically announcing to everyone that they were sleeping together already. She was absolutely embarrassed.

Shi Xiang looked at her in shock. He felt ill and couldn’t make a sound, as if there was a fishbone stuck in his throat. The two of them were already sleeping together?

Mo Liuxi was extremely pleased when he saw Shi Xiang’s despondent look and despair. He was looking for something to that effect.
