An Lan said, “It’s said that Yi Jingxi is injured, and is in the hospital.”

Luosang replied with surprise, “Is he trying to buy time? The more time he has, the greater his chance of winning. His lawyer might use this time to find a breakthrough.”

An Lan shook her head and said, “I don’t think so. I’ve asked around. He seems to really have been injured pretty badly. His face is swollen, and his nose is broken. Some of his internal organs are injured as well. Strangely, he didn’t call the police.”

An Lan clicked her tongue, and said, “After seeing how nice Mr. Nian is to Luosang, my requirements for my future boyfriend are going through the roof.”

Lu Kang smiled and shook his head. You haven’t seen how awful he can be, he thought. Even you would want to hit him.

Inside the Benz, Mo Jin quietly watched Luosang disappear from sight. Her chest heaved slightly. She wanted so badly to rush out of the car to introduce herself to her daughter. But if it happened so suddenly, Luosang might get scared.

“Ms. Mo, Mr. Nian seems to be really nice to Miss Xu,” Ivan the assistant smiled and added, “Also, he looks very handsome and manly. Miss Xu has great taste.”

“What do you know?” Mo Jin gave him a sharp glance, and said, “It’s difficult to see the true face of a man. Before I married Xu Zhengxuan, he was so nice to me that he nearly gave me his heart.
