He took a bite and looked up at her and said coldly, âItâs good that youâre maintaining a distance from him. Youâre nowhere good enough for him.â

Nian Xi had completely lost her appetite. She took a couple of bites but she was restless. She felt like she had done something terrible, especially now that Jiang Yuning wasnât coming out of his room.
She couldnât fall asleep at night so she called Luosang. âDo you think I was being too harsh?â
âYeah you were. Extremely harsh.â Luosang was disapproving. âHow could you say something so hurtful? Does it really matter what others think? Or... are you afraid that Feng Ji Chuan will hear about this? Are you still planning on getting back with him?â
